XhosaNostra: Not every man is a right fit. Some of us are very picky. Personally, I take time to warm up to new people or to decide whether I like someone romantically or not, so if someone comes on too strong from the very beginning, that may scare me off. Thus, turning them down. Slow & steady usually wins the race for me because I'm a thinker. I rationalize everything, include my feelings. Usually I have to "think" myself into liking someone, which doesn't happen overnight. In summary, being too much, too early will lead to a rejection. ndiyakuthanda |

I thought you people were mocking Igbos because of the backwardness of Ebonyi and its people, now Ebonyi has even overtaken all Yoruba states except Lagos, give me one reason why Igbo's shouldn't brag about the come back ?? |

UyaiIncomparabl: There's no particular amount of money that ever makes one ready. If you're in with the right person with just 300, 000 naira, marriage will be bliss. You people should stop attaching happiness to money. Money is only a means to an end. good babe |

I repeat the only Igbo governor that as done anything tangible since 1999 are Chime n Obiano are the others are bigger thief than Ganduje n Tinubu put together. The biggest thief of all is the squeak voiced Peter Obi, a man born into wealth but die a thief. He looted Anambra beyond mercy thank God for Obiano. frustration is very dangerous. platido: Seriously! If you want to see a man dilegent in his work I give it to Gov. Umahi, not eye services and I think Ebonyi will be the best state so far in South East, not like my Gov. Udom Emmanuel doing eye services, the only thing he could do diligently was to sent invite to personalities on his father burial and move so fast to make sure he follow them back to back to make sure they come, foolish man like him! |

I must say that any government that's complaining of lack of funds to carry out projects is not sincere. If umahi could do it with meagre resources, other states can do better. I tell u, bro. Thanks for ur sincerity |

Biafrarep: Umahi has become a symbol for good governance. Every other governor should be sent to Abakaliki to understudy how to be a governor. May God continue to bless him and give him more wisdom to rule Ebonyi state. He has taken the state from obscurity to the limelight. He has given his people a pride of place.
The more he achieves all these with little resources, the more I believe that other state governors should be stoned to death. I tell u, bro. Better stoning o |

Romance › Re: My First Experience In Wooing A Lady, An Edo Girl by Austineva(m): 8:11am On Feb 16, 2020 |
DrDax: My first experience taught me to respect myself.
Beautiful girl, the stuff of wet-dreams, I was only 20.
We met at a movie rehearsal, and discovered she lived quite close to me.
So, we became friendly-strangers, the type that greet each other, say "how are you", and engage in short small talks.
After monitoring this lady for months and gathering info from friends and neighbors, I decided to approach,
Shout out to my cousin, my coach. lol
So there I was wobbling and fumbling, and wondering what I had got myself into while she just kept smiling and shaking her head.
"what say you?" and the classic response "I'll think about it"
Well, the following week was her birthday and I had emptied my piggy bank to get her the most expensive perfume I could find as well as a classy birthday card to buttress my point.
On D-Day, I got into my sunday best, sprayed some of my cousin's perfume, shined my shoe till I could see my reflection on it, and mustered all remaining confidence, and yes a little prayer before stepping to her house around 4pm.
Please picture this nervous wreck, holding a gift pack, and knocking on his prospect's gate while muttering to Cupid to please shoot his arrow into her heart and make my day. Infact, cupid told me she would jump right into my arms on seeing me.
Well the mum appeared on the balcony, took one look at me, and joined two and two together. She peered back into the house and called her daughter, "you have another visitor oooooo. Hmmmmmmm"
To cut a long story short, the girl of my "wet-dreams" came sauntering out in all her innocent beauty with some handsome tall dude. They both walked right past me into a car parked across the street.
And while walking towards the car, she uttered the sentence that would change my life forever.
She said, "give the package to my mum", and they zoomed off.
There I was standing at the gate like Charlie Chaplin feeling like an idiot, and her mum at the balcony trying unsuccessfully not to laugh out loud.
I swore to never try that nonsense again.
Till date.
End. hahahaha. Bro, ur own case pass Tufiakwa o. Lol
