Personally, I take time to warm up to new people or to decide whether I like someone romantically or not, so if someone comes on too strong from the very beginning, that may scare me off. Thus, turning them down. Slow & steady usually wins the race for me because I'm a thinker. I rationalize everything, include my feelings. Usually I have to "think" myself into liking someone, which doesn't happen overnight. In summary, being too much, too early will lead to a rejection.

When someone compared Ebonyi at night to Europe, I was one of the people that were amused. But after visiting Ebonyi last week I was filled with awe. I must say that any government that's complaining of lack of funds to carry out projects is not sincere. If umahi could do it with meagre resources, other states can do better.

Umahi has become a symbol for good governance. Every other governor should be sent to Abakaliki to understudy how to be a governor.
May God continue to bless him and give him more wisdom to rule Ebonyi state. He has taken the state from obscurity to the limelight. He has given his people a pride of place.

The more he achieves all these with little resources, the more I believe that other state governors should be stoned to death.

My first experience taught me to respect myself.

Beautiful girl, the stuff of wet-dreams, I was only 20.

We met at a movie rehearsal, and discovered she lived quite close to me.

To cut a long story short, the girl of my "wet-dreams" came sauntering out in all her innocent beauty with some handsome tall dude. They both walked right past me into a car parked across the street.

And while walking towards the car, she uttered the sentence that would change my life forever.

She said, "give the package to my mum", and they zoomed off.

There I was standing at the gate like Charlie Chaplin feeling like an idiot, and her mum at the balcony trying unsuccessfully not to laugh out loud.

I swore to never try that nonsense again.
