Halima Buhari, the fifth daughter of Muhammadu Buhari, once said that her father is fond of his grandchildren..

While talking with the journalists ahead of the 2015 presidential election, she said: “I have a seven year old daughter and he calls her ‘laraba’ which means Wednesday in Hausa, he plays and is very fond of his grandchildren and gives them traditional funny nick names."

He said he had nothing to add to the press statement issued by the NYSC on the matter.

“The government has spoken. NYSC is part of government and I have nothing to add to what the NYSC has said,” the minister said.

Before the 2014 Ekiti election, Fayemi was teargassed by the police on the orders of Fayose and the then PDP led federal government. Opposition governors like Amaechi and Oshiomole were prevented from entering Ekiti to support the then incumbent governor. Despite that, Fayemi still went to Akure to receive Jonathan.
