The fact that Satan is your screen name proves more of madness on your part. Just saying!

So you wanna tell me you left a first world country to live in a third world country?
Sir, you're mad

Christianity EtcI Love Nigeria by avled(op): 10:12pm On Jun 05, 2019
I have been in Nigeria now for seven weeks. It has been an amazing journey so far. I love it so much. My experience has been life changing. Things are progressing very well. I have met some of the nicest people in the world. Respectable, charitable, hospitable and kind. I love Nigeria. For all of you who said bad things about your country, shame on you!
Christianity EtcRe: American Relocating To Nigeria! by avled(op): 1:50pm On Mar 22, 2019
Ill be there in a May

budaatum:
I already checked it. I share that love. Nigeria isn't an easy place but I probably haven't got your smarts. I went frequently for years as part of my research and lasted two years in the end crippled. But my mission was books and not the Gospel of the Lord and I myself lacked the Holy Ghost.

When do you plan to go?
Christianity EtcRe: American Relocating To Nigeria! by avled(op): 6:22am On Mar 22, 2019
Im sorry to hear you believe this. But ok.

Thank you very much.

Zither:
Avled, if you have peace in your heart as regards setting up a ministry in Nigeria, I don't see any reason why you shouldn't come. There may be many churches in the world but very few shepherds. You are welcome to preach the Word of God anywhere the wind of the Spirit takes you.
Christianity EtcRe: American Relocating To Nigeria! by avled(op): 6:18am On Mar 22, 2019
I love this dialogue. You guys have blessed my heart with all these responses. Im loving it. I really believe that Nigeria is getting prepared for the next wave of revival that will take place with these young people today. Watch out, God is up to something!

trapQ:
I see you've been responded by too many atheists and devil worshippers here but don't take them seriously. The truth is that despite all their falsehoods and exaggerations, Nigeria is still one of the few places left where the truth of the gospel is being preached and it is definitely also one of the nations with the "most powerful" men of God.

Have you been called by God? If Yes,
then have no worry, God will definitely see your ministry through.

I must warn you however, do not come preaching American Christianity of gay acceptance and that love is love. Nigerians hate homosexuality more than we hate almost all other vices. If you do then
Christianity EtcRe: American Relocating To Nigeria! by avled(op): 6:17am On Mar 22, 2019
Lol. Well let the Atheist speak as long as they will also listen. Loving people is a requirement to serve God.

Shepherd00:
I'm sorry, you have mostly had Atheists and Satan worshipers respond to you here. This place is their den.

If God has sent you to us, pls come. Ask Him which city He'll like you to base.

If it's in my city, I can volunteer my services. I love to pray so, I can pray for the ministry when you begin

PM me if it's okay.

are you really called by God? have God instructed you to move down to Nigeria ? when God speaks to you do you think you need people's opinion. let him direct you if truly you have the call of God on you.

Thank you for your vote of confidence. Please visit my website at www.damionbennett.com. It will tell you a lot more concerning my ministry. The truth is I LOVE NIGERIA!

budaatum:
That's perhaps why you should go. To teach that church is more than about money. Reminds me of the coming of Christ in fact to the church of his day that was similarly about money.

Please go. And God speed.

Wow. Well the beauty of the world and a democracy is that you have the right to believe that. However, if you ever desire to know more about this God that you choose to believe do not exist even though you have already given him existence, just let me know.

Lol. Churches are money making schemes in africa. Huge money making schemes.
Christianity EtcRe: American Relocating To Nigeria! by avled(op): 5:21pm On Mar 20, 2019
And I am also sad that most people have to ask if me leaving the United States to come to Nigeria is of God or Im I moving on my own. Are you serious! LOL. But honestly, not only is it the will of God, the fact that I obsolutely love Nigeria has contributed to it as well. I love Nigerians. I love the African continent. But I love Nigeria also. Ah, to return to Africa. The land in which our blood began is like a rebirth into freedom!

What I find interesting is that when I posted this, mostly all the response equated CHURCH WITH MONEY or BUSINESSMAN or ENTREPRENEUR. But it appears that many think of Church as a money making business. This has grieved my heart for the country and people of Nigeria.

Martinez39:
Building a church here is easy money. Being foreign will also help because many here love worshipping what's foreign and setting it as a standard. As a spiritualist, being foreign magnifies your "aura" of mysticism and mystery in the minds of many christards and many religious simpletons. Good luck. grin

Tell us your name and ministry so we atheists can know the latest pastorpreneur in town.

Tosinex:
nice one.....are you being led by God to do this, if so you are welcome. but the truth is many nigerians dont prefer sound doctrines of the scripture, as long as you are good with your prosperity message you are good to go. and in times of warfare, you will encounter many except you are strong in prayers too with solid backings from the throne of grace you will overcome, because many satanic agents will try you, through sexual harassment from marine agents, asking you to join cults from satanic agents, and spiritual warfare from agents of terrestial powers. some will target on your marriage, and immediate family if you have one and bring them over. in all things, stay strong, and some will also want to capitalise and take advantage of you being an american this could even be your immediate associate, so watch, anyway i wish you Godspeed
Christianity EtcRe: American Relocating To Nigeria! by avled(op): 2:37am On Mar 20, 2019
Well, this is the responsibility of the church and leaders as well. This is what we believe in America. The church should play a very active and visible role in our community that affects the everyday lives of people. www.damionbennett.com

Darevofpeace:
The question is who asked you to come to Nigeria? God or an ordinary feeling, you should have spent quality time with the person who called you into ministry, why must the Pastor tell you not to come,Nigeria got too many churches actually, but the Churches making "huge differences" are not much in the real sense, yours could be the "particular one" meant for "destiny transformation" for the Nigerian youth.

What are your aim and objectives?
If it does not correlate with what Nigerians are yearning for then forget it, you will never sell(you no go blow).

Because, churches in Nigeria have their aim and objectives. To confuse people the more and make fortune out of their ignorance

YOU HAVE VERY GOOD HEART TOWARDS YOUR COUNTRY!
Rebekkah:
I LOVE THE FACT WE LOVE God (question's who's the god you love? Many have myriads of inferior things they make god?)

Nigerians are very religious and hardworking,

And pretty much stoic; that suffering and smiling thing

You can easily be corrupted &/ ruined in Nigeria; too many evil influences. But I love that survival spirit; you can feel it greatest in Lagos.

Most Nigerians know how best to 'squander' life.

The weather is 'great' too. That's if you're used to BBQ spots.

The economy booms (like a bomb mostly)

avled , If you're looking to come dump some more 'evil' in Nigeria, I'm afraid the atmosphere is saturated but you never can tell with DISPLACEMENT reactions. If you're coming with 'good', a certain assistant by name 'PERSECUTION' will be assigned to 'help' you.

You'll most likely succeed in Nigeria if you're coming on a RESCUE MISSION or with a [positive] transformation agenda but you must fuel up your hijack planes.

Picture Lagos as a jam-packed train skidding off its track, the southeast as an open market with few buyers, the north as a landmine, the middle belt as concentration camp, the west– I have no idea yet–, and Abuja as a 'hell hole' (black hole).

I smell Nigerianness in you, but if you still have time RETHINK.

As for your question on bride price; the best thing is to ask her father or her relatives. It's never fixed, and the lady rarely knows. But nowadays the consent of marriage usually comes from her, and if so, you may end up having her for FREE. Nevertheless, if you don't perform the traditional wedding rites to the letter, your marriage to her won't be recognized by her people.

Ezekiel 18:20
King James Bible
The soul that sinneth, it shall die. The son shall
not bear the iniquity of the father, neither shall
the father bear the iniquity of the son: the
RIGHTEOUSNESS of the righteous shall be upon
him, and the wickedness of the wicked SHALL BE
UPON HIM.

Well, I will be making my official relocation transition to Africa in February this year. I was told TODAY by a major pastor figure in Nigeria that I should not come to build a church in Nigeria because the Nigerians will not support an American pastor coming to start a church in Nigeria. What are your thoughts on this?

So is paying for your wife a must in this country? And who then pays for the wedding? Typically in America, in traditional circles, the cost of the wedding is placed on the father of the bride.
