if the war were to come again today. am sure all the northern minorities will never fight along with hausa fulani and kanuri.

maybe the yorubas will fight along with them since anytin ibo troubles yorubas.

how i wish the fulani/hausa are never in nigeria power brocker. this two people has made it impossible for any group to move forward.
PoliticsRe: Ojukwu Was A Dictator – Phillip Effiong by Awake9ja(m): 4:35pm On Oct 09, 2012
pls stop this zik awo issue because both men are disgrace. yes zik appear to be more nationalist than awo.

but i consider zik a fool and the cause of his tribes suffering. those days the political game is too tribalistic than nationalise but he choose to play a national game in the midst of tribalist people like awo and bello. but thank God the british checkmated him.

but the other way round awo is the major problem in nigeria politics joke apart. he is the one that introduce tribalism in our polity. history will never forgive him and bello. they are been covered bcuz of the power their peole enjoy in the centre now.

we the minorities are no body in a country we call ours. why?

on the issue of biafra and comment credited to effiong, every ryt tinking individual knows that the war was not forced on the biafrans minorites by ibos.
all these words by some of them by denying their iboness and denying biafran envolvement is to be nationaly relevant and we all know that. and we are carefuly watching them.
PoliticsRe: Atikus Comment About Biafra by Awake9ja(m): 4:02pm On Oct 09, 2012
ok here the fulani man is pointing out the mistake they make by voting down a good idea bcuz of who said it and the tribe he came from.

yet we have many yorubas here doing them same tin just bcuz the fulani man points out his mentor,

if there is any region that needs regional integration i think it is the west bcuz they need to recover lagos from the ibos that are not even fightin for it.

my point is that good idea is good no matter who said it.

and yorubas should try setling their prob wit the ibos. its obvious that wheb ever anytin good about ibos is raised, the yorubas get workedup, why.
PoliticsRe: Atikus Comment About Biafra by Awake9ja(m): 3:42pm On Oct 09, 2012
yorubas ryt now want regional integration. but during Obj when they control power they dont speak about that. why?

ibos cry foul after 1966 coup but before then all is well. why?

hausa/fulanis wanted out before and after independent when they are miles away from power but now they are agent of one nigeria. why?

we have wrong three major tribes in nigeria and they 3 are our problems.

i love it that we win the war and bring the ibos bak. i cant imagine a nigeria with us and yorubas alone.

but when you humanly look into the war events i pity the ibos and blame our soldiers for many atrocities. women and children should not be massacred by any human being with conscience. though i found out that there is other animosities haboured against ibos even before the war and thw war is an opportunity to show it.

those who think we feed the biafrans should think straight for once. our fighters bomberded their farms and barns, our government block their food source of supply from cameroun. so how else do they survive. we know ibos they are no dependants as to wait for us to feed them talk more of yorubas to feed them.

my final point is for the federal gov to redress national issues on operation, integration and oneness bcuz if not done another group will find themself in that hot pot again. may it not be my benue group. the trouble from fulanis is even too much for us.

i dont understand the yorubas. your actions many times irritates many of us the beltans.

what are there to defend. Gowons name was also mentioned in the book but we the beltans are not defending him because we know its truth.

this is how tribalism was introduced in nigeria by you guys.

awo himself said it with the assertion of the word "I" not "we" meaning eighter he is the one that give the command or the one that brings up the suggestion so wat are you defending.

when sanusi point finger at yorubas and igbos, its only yorubas that flock everywhere defending the indefendable, the ibos take the truth he point out and throw away his falacies. that is calles maturity. why do yorubas have this irritating actions.

i hate the ibos but sometimes i ask myself why and i cant find a reason. the only thing i found why i dislike them is their over ambition.

the yorubas has written a lot of ill things about hausa fulanis but they have not flock on news papers like yorubas talking rubbish.

how i wish you guys are on igbos seat by now nigeria will be a better state. atleast a state without tribalism. am out from here.

wat a group where men behave like women nonsense.

PoliticsRe: Itsekiri Leader Lambasts Chinua Achebe For His Biafranist Propaganda by Awake9ja(m): 4:14pm On Oct 07, 2012
I
t i[quote]s important to point out that most Nigerians were against the war and abhorred the senseless violence that ensued. The wartime cabinet of General Gowon, the military ruler, it should also be remembered, was full of intellectuals like Chief Obafemi Awolowo among others who came up with a boatload of infamous and regrettable policies. A statement credited to Awolowo and echoed by his cohorts is the most callous and unfortunate: all is fair in war, and starvation is one of the weapons of war. I don't see why we should feed our enemies fat in order for them to fight harder. It is my impression that Awolowo was driven by an overriding ambition for power, for himself and for his Yoruba people. There is, on the surface at least, nothing wrong with those aspirations. However, Awolowo saw the dominant Igbos at the time as the obstacles to that goal, and when the opportunity arose – the Nigeria-Biafra war – his ambition drove him into a frenzy to go to every length to achieve his dreams. In the Biafran case it meant hatching up a diabolical policy to reduce the numbers of his enemies significantly through starvation — eliminating over two million people, mainly members of future generations.[/quo
If this quotation is what Achebe said. What did the yorubas want? for Gods sake.
Did they want to deny awolowo involvement in the war
What is there to deny? Awolowo was fully involved in the war both the good and bad did then.

I have no apology to anybody(ibo s). I only disappointed that after all those war, yet igeria is a fail state, how i wish ibos win and get out from this hell fire.
I love the ibos yes, but for yorubas to deny awolowo action dring the war makes me 5o believe they are not to be trusted.

what i don't know is why too many yorubas are talking about this quotation. Why are they talking too much.
The ibos can cry till eternity i don't care, i just want Nigeria to disintegrate am tired of these hausa fulani killings.

How do we ever trust the yorubas in this nation.

Is there really any yorubas man we can trust at all?
PoliticsRe: Awolowo: Babatope Tackles Achebe by Awake9ja(m): 8:14pm On Oct 05, 2012
I later found the reason of ibo bitterness towards yorubas instead of hausas .

Ibos blv that yorubas are their brothers therefore shouldn't have join the war against biafra .
But they miscalculated bcus even the hausas never trusted the yorubas during the said war nor ever.

Don't trust too much, a hard lesson the ibo must learn.
Forget about yorubas we all know them.
PoliticsRe: Awolowo: Babatope Tackles Achebe by Awake9ja(m): 8:01pm On Oct 05, 2012
First i must say that am a middle Beltan from Benue state. So am neutral in my conclusions.

I have my reservations agains the ibo s, yorubas , hausas etc.

Sometimes i wonder why the ibo can't let go of the past loose
Sometime also i have to commend them because they are the only tribe in naija that socialize with every tribe without discrimination. Intact the ibos are the ones practise one naija others are hypocrites including my tribe.

But the ibo must let go.

But why are yoruba's still behind this corrupt man's leadership.

This is going to hunt the south westerners in the future, maybe they will blame others for betrayal .

When you present to others a corrupt person as leader what will you respect.

what does sharia have anything to do with herdsmen being murdered in cold blood and are persecuted by the public when they defend themselves? what laws do you have wherever you reside, which do not allow someone from walking on nigeria soil?
why are the fulani herdsmen have never, will never and can never apologize to whoever own a farmland they destroy?

nobody/tribe is saint, but whenever you wrong people just apologiz or atleast don't repeat the wrong next time.

but to HAUSA/FULANI'S it is no no.

Can somebody mark my word, come here nextweek you will hear a news that hausa/fulani fight and kill here or there in nigeria.
am not prophecyin but its a known fact.

but hausa/fulanis systematicaly send their cows to destroy our crops while they farm up north.
now they are suppliers of food even to us benues. and you tell me they don't know what they are doing.
brothers don't be cowards shine your eyes.

they can do merchanized farmine now and they can't build ranches for their cattles? who is fooling who.

Well, I don't know if that will mean changing our ways to accommodate them thereby reinforcing their born to rule mentality. It's a very difficult situation, whether we accept it or not, if not tackled with compromise made here and there, it'll even get worse. Changing their way of life overnight seems unattainable to me because it's their culture; they will only change their nomadic life with time.
Their culture is on it's way to exterminate my own right and culture,
why do i need to give them more time? why?

when i send money for farming to my mom in benue and she said no need of it since fulani's cows will destroy it.
tell me if my culture of farming yearly is not exterminated by ths nonentities?
how much more will i sacrifies for them to change?
pls spear me your sermon on the hill.
PoliticsRe: Fulani Herdsmen Attack Enugu Community by Awake9ja(m): 6:17am On Jul 19, 2012
which tribe in nigeria that usualy infact always get free land at any state they go? "hausa/fulani"
why can't they think to be superior over us all. they are richer than my tribe in benue yet no one give us free anything.

their wild superior mentality is crossing bundary:
1) they get free land everywhere in nigeria while no other tribe get.
2) they give those land a village name and make it permanently their's. since that works with no resistance
3) they try grazing their host crops. it works too without any vehement resistance,
4) they started killing anyone who try interupting them at all, and it works cuz we want mutual understanding.
5) they start raping our young women in any bush they met them, it works also
6) they start calling us slaves to our faces, since we do nothing.
7) they start wearing army uniform and collecting money from the host whenever you cross the area they occupy.it worked.
cool they start stealing from anyone that crosses those areas and wound them. it worked.
9) they start killing anyone that goes close to their area in the evening. it worked too.
10)they stard practicing sharia in those palces even their host when you come their you must abide to it else you are dead.
11) BUHARI was once the leader of this group, yet he don't want to change their way, "that speaks volumes of their secret palns"
they are all together in it, they know what they are doing.
the reason they fight here and there without thinking twice is bcuz they blv we shall give up soon so they still carry the day.

Note: tell me since we do nothing "why should they change?"
tell me why we should accord to them all this previlages?
am sure yorubas/igbos are their in JOS long before this guys but who gave them free land?
the igbos in yoruba land, did they rcv any free land?
the yorubas in igbo land, did they rcv free lands?
To me anybody that tells us to give them free grazing land is a fool and indeed a coward.

Somebody come here and tell us can the igbos be able to loose upto 200-300 ppl? "this is the reason they say you guys are coward.
we in the benue are fighting bak, we no longer listen to our elders cuz they have failed us talk more of fearless igbos i know.
anyman who cannot stand for his right, fight for his community right is dead and stupid no matter his education.

Finaly: If reverse is the case, other tribes in nigeria are herdsmen and we come to hausa/fulani land to graze our cattles,
can they allow us do it peacifuly talk more of destroying their crops? i beg for sincere answer.

You raised a serious point about molestation. That is bound to happen, for sure.
My opinion is that if our police is doing their job, working with Fulani tribal leaders, such offenders will be prosecuted. If the people are confident such offenders must be brought to book, they may not take the law into their hands, however, this is Nigeria and Nigerian Police is Nigeria Police.
It still all comes down to government's inaction.
i like it when we try proferin solution to a hard issues.
but don't you think if we continue changing our own way of life and realities just to accomodate hausa/fulani's,it's going to perfect their
mindset of born to rule. Obiagu don't ever listen to Ileke idi cuz these hausa/fulani's know what they are doing clearly.
do you know what they are calling us all? "cowards" why? cause we try all the time to easy a situation, even when we are on our right.

Have you asked why the boko haram that has muslim in Lagos, kwara and other south western states or even in the creeks of the south southern region have not come to throw bombs in the churches in those areas? In my opinion, the northern region is where they need to do the cleansing. Because that is their territory, so why struggle it with them? In my personal capacity, I will stand by the opinions of the Senate President David Mark and his Deputy Ike, let's federalize Nigeria.

you don't respect your so called land, how do you want anyone to respect it? so killing herdsmen and cattle of herdsmen will solve the problem, use your own brain, it will only make things very worse, your lands don't have laws don't lie to me, the law which is national is that everyone has freedom to move freely within the borders of the country, ibos go to the north to make a living for themselves, what the herdsmen are doing is exactly similar to what ibos are doing in the north, trying to make a living
am here to follow you step by step.
first you deny been FULANI. but you have defended them no matter how clear it is to you that they are wrong.
i use to like your writeup but today,i found out there is no hausa.fulani man to be trusted even the dead one.

yet could not introduce modern way of feeding cattles without moving about to his subjects.

if buhari couldn't lead cattle bunch into civilization, how can he lead us into that. or do they have other ulterior motive of rearing cattles.
