No great scientific minds from Africa for the simple reason the environment, leaders and lack of provision of infrastructure to help those who are interested in science to grow and mature into some of the best people on various fields are not there. They need to take care of malaria and other diseases first, do something about primitive traditions hindering progress in development, innovations, imaginations, creativity and inventions,etc before even coming close to taking the step of producing great mind. There are lot of factor hindering that to happen in Africa.
