is it not a shame that things like these has continue to happen in our country. They use people as contract staffs yet they ought to convert them to permanent staffs the usual 9ja politiking will start. its a shame on total nigeria ltd and infact other oil companies.i hope the nigeria labour congress, minister of petroleum and the president himself will come to the rescue of the contract staffs in the oil industry. shame shame and shame on Total. |
Loidee, thanks for ur response.pls respond to a mail from who one of my colleagues who is very interested in your avensis. |
I wonder everyday how our intending young businessmen come to NL all because its a free forum with their various advert yet they can deliver noting. First i spoke with midex on his advertised murano, agreed inspection, called him some few minute drive(all the way from ajah to surulere ooo) to the point of inspection only to be told someone was at the bank making payment for the same car.(this was after several calls/sms that has been put across to midex and firm agreement reached),all these happened on a wednesday.on tuesday before the wednesday inspection we discussed other opportunities with same dealer and advertised that he send me details of other vehicles/quotes. Only for midex to send me an sms on thursday morning informing that the intending buyer present a dude check and couldnt get cleared and the vehicle is now available for my inpsection.I responded with an sms and later called that he should confirm date and time for inspection which he promised to do in 10-20mins after my calls/sms. Up till date no sms to either apologise for not sending the vehicles/quotes,no sms/call to advise if inspection of the murano is still possible,no sms/call to inform an intending customer of any updates. I will like to mention that it was on NL in 2009 that i met a contact whom has given me a life opportunity and that in less than 8 months that we hv been doing business,i am at a level that i have never dreamt off. Am bringing this to the house not to run anyone down but to advise our young businessmen that we dont know the caller at the other end,he/she might just be anybody who will give us the next biggest link that we hv worked/dreamed for and that every intending customer should be treated as a potential raw material that might bring more the eye can see. |
sorry to abuse your thread again o i have this simple question on another thread(https://www.nairaland.com/nigeria/topic-434879.0.html) and am yet to get any response.WHY ARE THE OWNERS OF MURANO (9ja) ALL SELLING?is it as a result of no good mechanics/bad mechanics.am just confuse and need answers as to why an average 9ja person will sell a 2006 murano for 2.1M? |

?:does any of us understand what it means to come from a background where we dont eat three meals daily and yet i got married to the daughter ?i guess our different background is contributing to the issues on ground,i dont know if am right![]() |
i prefer water and soap thereafter i wash my hand with soap too very well to keep it clean from any excreta |
Amaka, more grease to your elbow. Awumen, your criticism has some merit, but its also flawed in that your point reinforced the tribalistic paradigm. The topic itself is anti-igbo as well as the variegated bashing of igbo ladies here. if u were constructive in your assertion, u could make your point as well as dismiss those false suggestions about us. By not doing that, u hurt rather than help the cause.mekana i also agree with amaka but my point is that our sisters do not marry late just for the sake of late marriage, they sometimes marry late because there is need for that,i have also met yorubas and hausas who marry late,so it is not peculiar to igbos alone. |
Let me dissect your logic Awumen. your argument seemed to establish that its perculiar to Igbo ladies, which is far from the truth. Others, especially, muslims do it better, remember Yorubas are more or less divided btwn Xtians and Muslims, and even some of their Xtian women marry as 2nd, 3rd, 4th or 5th wife. Again, that u saw those pictures meant that there are few of them and that its not normanl for us. In this case, clearly the Igbos are at the minority, remember that its a personal issue, every person, boy or girl, lady or a man has the right and choice of marriage in igboland unlike in so many other ethnic groups.u seem to neglect this factor in your hypothesis. Therefore by arguing otherwise, u ended up affirming these guys' hate argument here. A real Igbo defends his race in the midst of belligerency and institute internal criticism when necessary, thats how to be contructive not destructive. some people need to go back to the politics section.@amaka i quite agree with you,my broda mekana the fact that i am a real igbo man does not mean i should support what is wrong no matter the belligerency,my points are ever objective not destructive even to my own people,i am a clear conscience nigerian,i love my igbo race and i am proud of it but to support something wrong mba'nu |
i wont dubbed you irresponsible atall. |
seun and moderator, pls pls and pls delete these topics they are all creating tribal confusions in here |
U sound like u are delusional. I also doubt your claim of igboness. What is the basis of your assumption? U are able to pinpoint those ones because its not a common occurence among igbos. U therefore neglected other tribes esp. the yoruba ladies' tendency to marry old men as 2nd 3rd 4th wive(s). U need to take a shower. @mekana,i am an igbo man to the core |
i have one simple question here pls dont crucify me ooo just what i noticed, why is that it is our igbo gurls that becomes second or third wives to all these our so called big men?examples; Bode George - Wife number 2 and 3 are igbos Atiku-Wife number 3 is igbo Buba Marwa-Wife number 2 is igbo and so on and so forth, these bothers me because our so called sisters who i meet along the way will tell me they can never be a second wife to any man but alas that's not true atall,i know a few people will mention that yoruba women too also take the place of a second wife but thats not my concern because the yoruba culture might accepted that but as an igbo man who defend igbo sisters then where are we? |
