Well,the main reason for this is that they feel and believe that the guy may jilt on them and they never want to be jilted on. Secondly this is for reasonable girls, they will want to look before they leap as they did not want to jump into a relationship. more so they may want to use that to test the sincerity of the guy by not saying yes even though they may have interest in the guy.
