On top inflation and rising cost of food items Northerners now block the food from coming in. It will bite hard down South. But this is a small price to pay for freedom I disagree with u! They are buying it and they can decide to use their money to buy food from other sources. With your money in ur pocket, u can buy food from anywhere in the world. |

OneTemplate: Atiku is a perennial Presidential candidate always touting his credential as a detribalised Nigerian and best person to lead Nigeria.
Today I read his comment where he said Nigerians have the right to protest peacefully in regards to the Lekki protestors arrested yesterday.
An arrest of 40 protestors, who were all unharmed and quickly bailed and charged to appear in court at a later date, is worth Atiku's immediate comment and response but not the murder, rape, maiming, kidnapping, agricultural destruction and mayhem his Fulani people, for a while now , have wreaked on the people in the Southern hemisphere of Nigeria with tacit support from all our federal armed and security forces.
Federal Government power is being abused blatantly to aid what appears a nefarious Fulani expansionist agenda and Atiku is silent over that but can comment quickly over a non-event protest in Lagos.
Is this acceptable from a Fulani who wants to lead all Nigerians and does it not show Atiku is incapable of doing anything differently to move Nigeria forward with his unacceptable silence over the atrocities and misery his people are causing Nigerians in the South? When did Atiku become your president? Buhari is your president. Be bold enough to call him out. Don't be a coward. |

Nonsense. The question of usurping the power of the presidency does not arise. Osinbajo is part of the presidency. The last I checked, Osinbajo came into power on a joint ticket with Buhari and he is not an appointee of Buhari. Skyfornia: Bros this one pain you..
It seems majority of elders from the west are jealous of Sunday Igboho. Suddenly the youths see him as a leader which is bad news for the Obas and Politicians.
I also blame the said Sunday cause it is obvious he doesn't have the courage to continue without the support of the Obas and Politicians. He is not a born freedom fighter. Sunday Igboho cannot continue fighting when the people he is fighting for are saying they did not ask him to fight for them. Sunday is not from Modakeke but he fought for Modakeke during the Ife/Modakeke crisis, but it was strictly on invitation. It seems Yoruba Obas would rather be in the good books of the Fulani FG than raise a finger to save their people. With the way the Obas are stylishly disowning Sunday igboho, Sunday will soon abadone the fight and Yorubas will then be at the mercies of the killer herdsmen. |

A responsible government would not use the public fund to build ranches for private businessmen. |

Politics › Re: Negotiate With Fulani Bandits, Grant Amnesty To Them–sheikh Gumi Tell Buhari by Ayed44: 11:13am On Feb 05, 2021 |
Gjrich: A renowned Islamic scholar, Ahmed Muhammad Gumi has urged the federal and state governments to grant amnesty to repentant bandits, saying that there will be serious bloodshed and merciless killings if the government and security agencies continue to engage the bandits on operation fire-for-fire.
Addressing newsmen at the chamber of the Government House in Gusau, the state capital, sheikh Gumi explained that the late President Musa Yar’Adua granted amnesty to militants in the South-South zone and went extra mile to create the ministry of Niger Delta Affairs which sheikh Gumi said calmed down the tensed situation.
“Negotiations remain the best option for conflict resolution. Negotiations settled the grievances of the militants in the South-South so president Buhari should borrow from that ideology to end terror attacks in his own government,” sheikh Gumi added.
According to Sheikh Gumi, almost all the heinous crimes in Nigeria are being perpetrated by the unemployed youths who have no defined means of livelihood for a number of years, pointing out that a hungry man is an angry man.
The Islamic scholar who visited some of the bandits dens and hideouts in Zamfara state said that the Fulani unrepentant bandits tabled some of their grievances which they said have not been addressed by the state government.
He said that the Fulani unrepentant bandits demanded for justice in dealing with the Fulani people, saying that both the security agencies and the outlawed Yansakai members have classified the Fulani people as third-class citizens in a country that belongs to every body.
The Islamic scholar explained that the Fulani unrepentant bandits also lamented that mere seeing any Fulani herdsman with a car or motorcycle has become a serious crime against the security agencies and the outlawed Yansakai members as they would seize the car or motorcycle from the Fulani herdsmen describing them as bandits or kidnappers.
Sheikh Gumi noted that the same Fulani unrepentant bandits also complained that during their meetings with the state government on peace accord and reconciliation, all the promises that were made by the state government did not reach the Fulani herdsmen as the kind gestures were being hijacked by the middle men between the Fulani herdsmen and the state government.
“In some of our communities, there is no potable drinking water, no accessible road, no good health care delivery service or any form of social facility and until the state government addresses these problems, we will not embrace the peace accord and reconciliation” the unrepentant bandits lamented.
The Islamic scholar, therefore, called on the state government to as a matter of urgency ensure judicious distribution of any right that belongs to the Fulani people in the state, stressing that hijacking of their rights will aggravate the already existing tension in the state.
“There is nowhere that peace can reign without justice and if there is justice, the federal and state governments would not have been wasting huge amount of money to quell banditry in the state” So the bandits terrorizing the Northwest are actually Fulani herdsmen? I just found out here. Incredible!!! |

Àkeredolu has messed it up. You gave an ultimatum for them to vacate the forests and after the expiration if the ultimatum you are now inviting them for a dialogue. That is a weakness in the part of the Governor. I knew Akeredolu lacks the balls to confront the herdsmen.

There are regular herdsmen attacks in Edo, Delta, Oyo, Enugu etc. Why are these other governors sleeping and waiting for Akeredolu to carry everything on his head? God bless u for this comment. If all the 17 southern governors decide to take the same action being taken by Akeredolu at the same time, the Fulani would be easily sent packing from southern Nigeria. But most of the southern governors are idiots. Some of them are scheming to be president or vice president or sentence president in 2023, so they dare not confront the fulanis. Slaves everywhere! |

Of course you won't see him publicly admitting it. But watch how they'll use amotekun to chase them cos Nigeria police ain't to be trusted I knew that's where you are going. But let me tell u something, Amotekun can it do anything. The Fulani are being backed by the presidency and the federal forces.
