Christianity EtcRe: 10 Questions For Christians by ayenny02(op): 3:09pm On Jun 24, 2013
Emusan: With this your reply it means you just quote Bible to support your fallacious statement because Jesus Himself clearly declare he's a Son of God.
what I qouted was it not in bible or you don't believe in bible again
Emusan: Jesus said He's a Son of God you don't believe Him (you just conclude with yourself He's a servant of God) but you believe when He said He will send your prophet come! How does it make sense to you?
* Bible said Jesus is a Son of God
* Bible said jesus is a servant of God
* Bible said jesus is a Messenger of God
In the same Book and muslims believes in two out of three qualities, and in a matter of Vote, MAJORITY carry the VOTE that's to say Muslims carry TWO qualities while Christian carry ONE quality

Moreover the word "SON" in the bible refer to "SERVANT" in bible, I will like you to question me HOW? And I will lecture you on that.

Emusan: John 8:58 "Jesus said unto them, Verily, Verily, I say unto you, Before Abraham was, I Am"

John 17:1-"These words spake Jesus, and lifted up his eyes to heaven, and said, Father, the hour is come; glorify thy Son, that also may glorify thee:"

Matt 16:16 "And Simon Peter answered and said, Thou art the Christ, the Son of the living God"

Why can't you quote these verses also?
Son of God is a figure of speech which many other Prophets were labeled with.

In Psalms 2:7 David is the begotten Son of God.

Jacob is God's firstborn son (Exodus 4:22)
Solomon is God's son (2 Samuel 7:13-14)
Ephraim is God's firstborn son (Jeremiah 31:9) [how many firstborns?]
Adam is the son of God (Luke 3:38)

There are many other begotten (?) sons mentioned in the Bible.

Christianity EtcRe: 10 Questions For Christians by ayenny02(op): 7:18am On Jun 24, 2013
Emusan: Just one question for you, did Muslim believe Jesus is the son of GOD? If you can answer it with sincerity I will further my discusion with you.
We, Muslims believe that Jesus was servant and Messenger of God, Bible also testify to it.
All of mankind are the servants of God. If a man were to own another man then that man would be his servant. Obviously this servant would be held in a lower regard than this man's own children (or himself). We do not usually find people telling their sons (or themselves): "come here my servant," or "Go over there my servant." Let us compare this with what God has to say about Jesus (as):

Matthew 12:18: "Behold my servant, whom I have chosen."

Acts 3:13(RSV): "The God of Abraham, and of Isaac,.... hath glorified his servant Jesus."

Acts 4:27(RSV): "For of a truth against thy holy servant Jesus, whom thou hast anointed...."
Emusan: Becaus your reply clearly stated that Jesus was talking about your prophet.
A "Spirit" in the New Testament is a human Prophet.   Therefore, Jesus had predicted the comming of a human Prophet (spirit) after him and not the Holy Spirit.  Jesus would not have used the word "he" for the Holy Spirit.  He would have used "it" instead in John 14:26.   Read 1 John 4:1-3 below:

"Beloved, believe not every spirit, but try the spirits whether they are of God: because many false prophets are gone out into the world,"
Emusan: But you read it in the Bible that is after they (desciples) received the Holyspirit the ministry of the gosple increases greatly and Jesus told them they should wait in Jerusalem until they receive the Holyspirit,
The Holy Ghost according to the Bible was "with" them already (and even quite active) long before the coming of Jesus (as) himself and then throughout his ministry. Read for example.

"For he (John the Baptist) shall be great in the sight of the Lord, and shall drink neither wine nor strong drink; and he shall be filled with the Holy Ghost, even from his mother's womb." (Luke 1:15)

"And the Holy Ghost descended in a bodily shape like a dove upon him (Jesus), and a voice came from heaven, which said, Thou art my beloved Son; in thee I am well pleased." (Luke 3:22)

"Then said Jesus to them again, as my Father hath sent me, even so send I you. And when he had said this, he breathed on them, and saith unto them, Receive ye the Holy Ghost." (John 20:21-22)

Did they or did they not already receive the Holy Ghost? Was Jesus (as) not still with them when they received the Holy Ghost? Was the Holy Ghost not with John before the birth of Jesus (as)?
if Jesus (as) does not depart then the "parakletos" will not come. Thus, the "Holy Ghost" cannot be the one originally intended since it was already with them. The contradiction is quite obvious.
Christianity EtcRe: What Happened In Between:jesus's Crucifixion, Death & Resurrection by ayenny02(op): 10:24pm On Jun 23, 2013
Jesus never said he will be crucified, but only reveals the intention with which he will be betrayed: “betrayed to be crucified”.
Juell: @Ayenny
matt 20:18-19
18 Behold, we go up to Jerusalem; and the Son of man shall be betrayed unto the chief priests and unto the scribes, and they shall condemn him to death, 19 And shall deliver him to the Gentiles to mock, and to scourge, and to crucify him: and the third day he shall rise again.
I have explained that the Crucifixion and Resurrection were never prophesied in the Book of Isaiah,
In the New Testament, Psalm 91 is directly linked to Jesus Christ, in the New Testament, by Jesus Christ himself, while Isaiah 53 isn't linked to Jesus by anyone.  Psalm 91 said many Prophecies more than once in the New Testament for Jesus Christ.  So we know for certainty that Psalm 91 is referring to the coming Messiah in the Bible:

Luke 4:10-12
10 For the Scriptures say, ‘He will order his angels to protect and guard you.
11 And they will hold you up with their hands so you won’t even hurt your foot on a stone.’”
12 Jesus responded, “The Scriptures also say, ‘You must not test the Lord your God.’”

Matthew 4:5-10
5 Then the devil took him to the holy city, Jerusalem, to the highest point of the Temple,
6 and said, “If you are the Son of God, jump off! For the Scriptures say, ‘He will order his angels to protect you. And they will hold you up with their hands so you won’t even hurt your foot on a stone.’”
7 Jesus responded, “The Scriptures also say, ‘You must not test the Lord your God.’”
8 Next the devil took him to the peak of a very high mountain and showed him all the kingdoms of the world and their glory.
9 “I will give it all to you,” he said, “if you will kneel down and worship me.”
10 “Get out of here, Satan,” Jesus told him. “For the Scriptures say, ‘You must worship the Lord your God and serve only him.’”

There are few points to notice in these verses:

1-  Notice how satan referred to Psalm 91 regarding the protection of Jesus.

2-  Notice how Jesus confirmed that Psalm 91 was indeed speaking about him by saying "the Scriptures also say..." (Luke 4:12 and Matthew 4:7).
Juell: @Ayenny
4. Isaiah 53:8 (NIV) By oppression and judgment he was taken away.
Yet who of his generation protested?
For he was cut off from the land of the living;for the transgression of my people he was punished.
Bros! U didn't get that frm the NIV, guess u read it blindly.
5. Bros, in the ancient times dey bury the dead in tombs, dey don't did the ground to bury the dead. People usually build their tombs b4 they die. Go and research on burial tombs.
Let us now take a look at Psalm 91:

Jesus was neither crucified nor resurrected, and he was protected and lifted by GOD Almighty.  Also, the New Testament, again, confirms that Psalm 91 is referring to Jesus Christ.

GOD Almighty will hear his cries (Psalm 91:15) and will save him (Psalm 91:3).

GOD Almighty will cover him with His Protection (Psalm 91:4).

Christ will then not have any fear in him (Psalm 91:5).

Christ will then observe with his own eyes the punishment of the crucified ones (Psalm 91:cool.

No harm (this includes crucifixion!) or disaster will even come near Christ (Psalm 91:10....this even contradicts him getting beaten up before crucifixion).

GOD Almighty will send down the Angels to protect him and lift him (Psalm 91:11-12, 14, Isaiah 52:13).  Not even his foot will strike the ground from his enemies pushing, grappling and punishment.

Christ's call will be HEARD, and he will be delivered and honored (Psalm 91:15, Isaiah 52:13).  No way would these verses be valid if Christ got crucified.

His life will be prolonged (extended) and he will live to even see his offspring (Isaiah 53:10 and Psalm 91:16, which by the way contradict Jesus never got married and had children.  In Islam's Noble Quran's 13:38, however, it is quite possible that Jesus Christ had wives and children).

His life will overpower death (Isaiah 53:12).

"Death" in Isaiah 53:9 is proven to be symbolic using the Hebrew Lexicon and several English translations, and it never meant a literal death.
Juell: @Ayenny

7. Psalms 91:1 Whoever dwells in the shelter of the Most High will rest in the shadow of the Almighty. It said "WHOEVER" NOT JESUS. It means even if u choose to call on the name of the LORD he'll send his angels to protect u.
Important Note:  Psalm 91 is speaking as a number of Prophecies that WILL take place.  Notice how the verses are speak of future events that WILL TAKE PLACE.  Never once throughout the entire New Testament were the Angels sent to save Jesus from striking his foot against a rock.  This, again, clearly proves that the NT is indeed false and corrupt.

truthman2012: WHERE DID ALLAH SAY IN YOUR QURAN THAT JESUS WILL BE RAISED ALIVE WITHOUT DYING FIRST? Or is it the make up of your islamic scholars which you call hadiths?
Surah 4, Verses 157 & 158:

“and their saying : we killed Christ Jesus, son of Mary, The messenger of Allah - but they killed him not, nor crucified him, but it was made to appear to them so; and those who disagree concerning it are full of doubts; they have no knowledge thereof save pursuit of a conjecture; For surely they killed him not; but Allah TOOK HIM UP UNTO HIMSELF; and Allah is ever mighty, wise.”
truthman2012: For your information, Jesus is not dying twice. Where do you get that demonic teaching? He died once and raised to life to die no more.
See your ignorance, you believed that jesus was killed on the cross and you still believe that he is coming back again and die for the second time abi? OLODO
truthman2012: Multitude witnessed the crucifixion of Jesus:

Mathew 27:20-25
Matthew 27:20 But the chief priests and elders persuaded the MULTITUDE that they should ask Barabbas, and destroy Jesus.

Matthew 27:21 The governor answered and said unto them, Whether of the twain will ye that I release unto you? They said, Barabbas.

Matthew 27:22 Pilate saith unto them, What shall I do then with Jesus which is called Christ? They all say unto him, Let him be crucified.
I have narrated the story that it was judas that crucified not Jesus (as) but I will still repeat to you;

Another account of the second session with the priests that took place on the day after the arrest, is given in Luke 22:66 to 68 :

22:66 : And as soon as it was day, the elders of the people and the chief priests and the scribes came together, and led him into their council, saying,

22:67 Are you the Christ? Tell us. And he said unto them, if I tell you, you will not believe:

22:68 And if I also ask [you], you will not answer me, nor let [me] go.

Again, they want to know if he is Jesus. And he tells them: If I tell you (that I am Judas), you will not believe. And if I ask you (what happened to Jesus), you will not answer me, nor let me go.

In the trial that takes place before the governor Pilate, again the dominant question is: Are you the Christ? And most of the time Judas says: YOU say it. (That is YOUR statement, NOT MINE.) On other occasions, he remains silent like a stone. Please refer Luke 23:3, Mark 15:2, Mark 15:5, Matthew 27:11, Matthew 27:12. Matthew 27:14.

If you believe that it was your God (jesus) that was questioned by the jews, can't you see how your God (jesus) denied being a Christ but it was not Jesus.

It is also an act of Sunnah to observe Sawm the whole of this month of Sha'ban, or most of it. As for dedicating the middle of Sha‘ban for Sawm, it is Makruh (reprehensible) and groundless. May Allah grant us more success. As for singling out the month of Rajab for Sawm, it is also Makruh.

Emusan: @ay

My simple question is as you know much about Bible, do you know much about Holyspirit Himself? Because I can see you always support your quote with Bible verses.
YES, Holy spirit is not God and Holyspirit is not Jesus
Emusan: @ay

I will give more deatils about the Holyspirit when I get home.
I will wait to give me more detail about Holyspirit
Emusan: @ay
The major point you try to bring out is that: the messager/comforter that Jesus promise is your prophet but you forgot that in Jesus statement Jesus said "...he will abide with you forever" which means 'he's an immortal' being always know that one.
That he may abide with you for ever:

In these verses, Jesus (as) is quoted as saying that the coming Paraclete will "abide with you forever." What does he mean by this? In order to understand this statement, let us read

"Verily, verily, I say unto you, If a man keep my saying, he shall never see death. Then said the Jews unto him, Now we know that thou hast a devil. Abraham is dead, and the prophets; and thou sayest, If a man keep my saying, he shall never taste of death. Art thou greater than our father Abraham, which is dead? and the prophets are dead: whom makest thou thyself? Jesus answered, If I honor myself, my honor is nothing: it is my Father that honoureth me; of whom ye say, that he is your God: Yet ye have not known him; but I know him: and if I should say, I know him not, I shall be a liar like unto you: but I know him, and keep his saying." John 8:51-55

and also

"And I (Jesus) give unto them (the believers) eternal life; and they shall never perish, neither shall any man pluck them out of my hand." John 10:28

and "and my servant David [shall be] their prince forever." Ezekiel 37:25.

and "The king shall joy in thy strength, O LORD ... He asked life of thee, [and] thou gavest [it] him, [even] length of days for ever and ever." Psalm 21:1-4

... etc.

Jesus (as) is quoted many times in the Bible as telling his followers that they will never taste death. However, there is not a single one of them alive to this day. Was he lying? Of course not!

In a similar manner, when king David is described as being a prince forever, this did not mean that he would never die but remain immortal for ever and ever as a prince to Israel. Rather, his teachings, name, and guidance shall remain as a shining beacon to mankind even after his death.

In this manner, Jesus (as) lives among us through his faith and teachings, prophet Abraham (pbuh) lives on among them and us through his faith and teachings, and so too, the coming Paraclete will live eternally with us through his faith and teachings.

The Paracletos will be the last prophet, because he will "abide with you forever" and "he will guide you into all truth" and "he shall teach you all things," so there will be no need for any further prophets. In the Qur'an we read:

"Muhammad is not the father of any man among you, but he is the messenger of Allah and the Seal of the Prophets; and Allah is Aware of all things." al-Ahzab(33):40

And "This day have I (God) perfected your religion for you (mankind) and completed My favor unto you, and have chosen for you as religion Islam(the submission)." al-Maidah(5):3

So the religion of Islam is the last message to mankind and it, as well as the Qur'an, will abide with them forever. To this day, Muhammad (pbuh) abides with us through his teachings. Muhammad (pbuh) indeed remains alive and well among us in the vast collection of over 9,500 quotations recorded from him during his lifetime in a broad range of topics. This collection of quotations is named the "Hadeeth." To this day, whenever a Muslims wishes to perform any action no matter how trivial, he does not advance a single step before first consulting Allah/God (in the Qur'an), and then prophet Muhammad (pbuh) (in the Hadeeth). Be it a question on how and what to eat or drink, how to perform marriages, how to pray, what sort of trade or commerce is permissible or prohibited, or what sort of clothes to wear, no Muslim presumes to undertake any action before first obtaining the approval of God then His prophet. Muhammad (pbuh) truly is alive and well among us.

Jesus (as) had "the whole truth" and had many things he longed to teach his disciples but he could not give it to them because they "cannot bear them now." These matters would only be revealed six centuries later by God through the agency of Muhammad (pbuh). What new truths has the Holy Spirit guided us into after the departure of Jesus (pbuh) which Jesus (pbuh) had no say in?

Jesus and his disciples were killed by people like you - the law keepers. Muslims are Pharisees and Saducees of today. cleanvessel: You have said nothing to refute the op's claim. When you guys just say something incorrectly, you shout you made a refutal. No. Those people in that picture were not bowing down to God but Allah, which idolaters had been worshiping in that centre before the advent of islam.

The worship of Allah had been in existence before islam. Allah was the god they worshiped in Muhammad's family before his birth, going by his father's name, Abdullah. When Muhammad came with his message from Allah, the people didn't ask him who Allah was. Allah was not new to them. They resisted him for wanting to impose his father's idol on all others. Gabriel must be the spirit of his family idol, who gave him an assurance that his father's god is the true God. There are ample evidences to these claims. Would God send his prophet to improve on his family's idol worship? No. No. No and No.

The tenacity you guys are defending islam shows you are in the religion because of your ignorance. You sincerely believe you are worshiping the true God, impressed upon your hearts by allah, but it is not true. I pray God will deliver you from satanic deceptions. Amen.

Apart from the pictures above the quran and hadiths talk about how Muhammad took to the ways of idolaters. Want to see them here again?
You are saying RUBBISH, you lack authoritative references to back your claim, so I don't need to answer you but if you bring reference from Quran, Hadith or Bible to support your claim then I will answer you, I don't argue with those who cannot bring proof or envidence to support their claims.
So, MR MAN you don't have point!!!!!!!

How could an event witnessed by many people appear unreal?
yes, Quran and Bible confirmed it that Jesus was not killed and not crucified.
Can you tell me those who witnessed it when the bible said the disciples didn't witnessed the crucification
truthman2012: THE CONTRADICTION

[Quran 19:33] Peace on me the day I was born, and the day I die, and the day I shall be raised alive!

[Quran 19:34] Such was Jesus, son of Mary: (this is) a statement of the TRUTH concerning which they doubt.
There is no contradiction in Quran,

Here is what Noble Verse 19:33 states: "So peace is upon me [Jesus] the day I was born, the day that I DIE, and the day that I shall be raised up to life."

Trinitarian Christians believe that Jesus was GOD Himself, or part of GOD, came to earth, was crucified on the cross to purify our sins and then raised from death back to life and went up to heaven until he will come back again to this earth.  The Noble Quran does not in anyway support this theory!.

We Muslims believe that Jesus was born from a Noble Virgin; Mary the Virgin, preached the word of GOD to the people of Israel, raised to Allah Almighty alive, will come back to earth again to fight the army of Satan and then die a natural death and then be raised again back to life from death as we all do in the Day of Judgement.

There is a similar Verse to 19:33 in the Noble Quran that was mentioned to another Messenger of GOD: "So peace on him [Yahya, or John the Baptist] the day he was born, the day that he dies, and the day that he will be raised up to life!  (The Noble Quran, 19:15)"  This Noble Verse (19:15) is similar to 19:33, where it does not at all state that any Messenger of GOD was crucified or will die twice!.

The reason why no Messenger of GOD will ever die twice is because Allah Almighty said clearly in His Noble Book that every soul He creates (this includes all of His Messengers and Prophets even Jesus) shall taste death once;  "Nor will they [all humans who end up in heaven] there taste death, except the first death; and He will preserve them from the penalty of the blazing fire.   (The Noble Quran, 44:56)

Juell: HERE ARE THE POINTS
1. He told his disciples that he will be betrayed and crucified, and he will be raised back to life after 3 days. That's why he came to them in the flesh form, cos if he was in spirit form it won't be convincing to them that he's back to life.
while Jesus was awaiting arrest by the soldiers, what he tells his disciples is that

a) “sleep on now, and take rest: it is enough, the hour is come; behold, the son of man IS BETRAYED into the hands of the sinners.” (Mark 14:41)

b) “the son of man is BETRAYED TO BE CRUCIFIED” (Matthew 26:2)

Jesus never said he will be crucified, but only reveals the intention with which he will be betrayed: “BETRAYED TO BE CRUCIFIED”.

2. Jesus says in Matthew 26:24: “The son of man GOES as it is written of him: but woe unto that man by whom the son of man is betrayed! it had been good for that man IF HE HAD NOT BEEN BORN”.

a) About himself, Jesus (as) says: “THE SON OF MAN GOES as it is written of him ” ; goes and not dies.

b) About the betrayer he says: “IT HAD BEEN GOOD FOR THAT MAN IF HE HAD NOT BEEN BORN”, a nice way of wishing death for the betrayer.
Juell: 2. He's disciples believed he won't let himself get arrested, but wen he did they all fled.
3. He was arrested after he spoke to those that came to arrest him. That means they had more than enough time to identify him before arresting him, so at what time did he switch place wit Judas under the watch of the guards?
The apostles were not eye-witnesses to the crucifixion (Mark 14:50). The Bible says “they all forsook him and fled”.

It seems very likely that none of Jesus' disciples were witnesses to the events following his arrest. This is firmly supported by the fact that it is in these episodes that the evangelists had to rely on Old Testament passages to reconstruct the events as they thought it might have happened during the crucifixion.
Juell: 4. U said Judas didn't answer questions when he was being asked cos it was not Jesus that was arrested. Read Isaiah 53:1-12
Vs 7 He was oppressed and he was afflicted yet he opened not his mouth.

Mallam Ayenny02 let's see if u can understand this.
Isaiah 53's symbolic speeches:

1-  Isaiah 53:3 says that "Jesus" is despised by all men.  In Luke 10:1, Jesus has at least 70 followers, and in other verses we're told that he fed and healed thousands (John 6:9-11, Luke 17:11-19 and other verses).

2-  In Isaiah 53:5 it says he was wounded for our transgressions.  Now right away one might assume this is the death of Jesus.  However it says he was WOUNDED not killed.  But let us go with killed for your arguments sake.  This is not what this verse is saying.  It is saying that they made a mistake so he is paying for it.  They plotted or accused against him.  This is exactly what happened.  And again, the verse says wounded, which further proves that Christ was never killed.

3-  Isaiah 53:7 states that "he did not open his mouth".  There are two possible interpretations and answers to this:

Jesus never literally spoke a single word during the crucifixion trial.  This is obviously wrong because Jesus spoke during his trial with both Pontius Pilot and the Jews.  And we all know Jesus' famous and final cry to GOD Almighty when he said:  "Eloi Eloi lama sabachtani!", which translates: "My GOD my GOD, why have you forsaken me?" (Matthew 27:46)  So wrong.  He did open his mouth.

Jesus did not object to GOD Almighty's Will.  This is also wrong, because again, Jesus cried during the crucifixion "My GOD my GOD why have you forsaken me?", and he also prayed ENDLESSLY to GOD Almighty on the night of the crucifixion to not get crucified!  (Matthew 16:39, Matthew 26:36-44, Luke 6:12) He even bowed down his face to God Almighty in worship endless times begging Him for a change in Decision.  So yes, Jesus did object.

4-  Isaiah 53:8's English translation falsely states "he will be cut off from the land of the living".  See below how it proven from the NIV Bible's commentary itself that the Hebrew word says "He will be thrown in jail."

5-  Isaiah 53:9 says that he made his grave with the wicked and the rich.  According to http://scripturetext.com/isaiah/53-9.htm:

He was assigned a grave with the wicked, and with the rich in his death [Here is how the literal translation says: "And it appointeth with the wicked his grave, And with the rich [are] his high places"....This is verified at this link: http://mobile.biblegateway.com/passage/?search=isaiah+53&version=YLT, though he had done no violence, nor was any deceit in his mouth.

9 He had done no wrong and had never deceived anyone. But he was buried like a criminal; he was put in a rich man’s grave.

http://www.biblegateway.com/passage/?search=isaiah 53:9;&version=46;

Isaiah 53:9 (Contemporary English Version)
9 He wasn't dishonest or violent, but he was buried in a tomb of cruel and rich people.

There are also two errors in the fulfillment of this Prophecy:

Jesus was never buried (Matthew 27:59-66, Matthew 28)!  He was temporarily placed in a tomb and then his body disappeared after that.  But he never ONCE was buried under ground as our dead get buried.

Jesus, who was never buried from the first place, was also NEVER BURIED with the wicked and the rich.  His tomb was placed in an isolated area as recorded in the gospels.

Again, verse 9 says that he was to be buried with both the wicked and the rich.  Jesus was buried alone.

6-  In Isaiah 53:10-11, GOD Almighty will prolong Jesus' life and Jesus will live to even see his offspring (his children)!  And Christ will see the Light and be satisfied after the suffering of his soul.  The suffering of his soul here is referring to the overwhelming fear that Jesus had and the countless cries and Prayers that he made to God Almighty to save him.  Psalm 91 further speaks clearly on this.  Also, Jesus' life was never made long or extended.  He only lived for 33 years, so we're told in the gospels, and he certainly never married any woman nor had any child from any woman.  Yet, Isaiah 53:10 clearly says that he will live and he will have and see his children.

7-  In Isaiah 53:12, we are told that Jesus' life or soul will be poured unto death.  To me, given the Islamic position about Christ never got crucified, and given the symbolic speech in Isaiah 53 chapter that most of it conflicts with what really took place with Christ in the gospels, stated clearly that Jesus never got crucified, then the interpretation of this verse about Jesus' life being poured unto death means that Jesus' life will overpower death!  This is indisputably proven in Psalm 91 where it states that not only Jesus will not get crucified, but GOD Almighty will also hear his cries and will send down the Angels to PROTECT HIM and SAVE HIM.  And Psalm 91 also says that Christ will call upon GOD Almighty and GOD Almighty will HEAR him and HONOR him.  Christ would not have been honored if he have died the humiliating death of the cross.  And certainly, he would not have been "saved" either by the Angels.

Jesus says to the Lord: You are the only true God and You have sent me, i.e. I am Your messenger.   Since all the people did not believe in him, those who did not believe in him as another prophet and messenger of God were "disbelievers in Jesus Christ" and those who believed in him could be called "Christians".  Therefore, true " Christians " would be those, who:
a.. Believe in One God.
b.. Believe in Jesus Christ as a messenger of God.
c.. Accept and implement the laws that already existed in the Torah.
d.. Follow the matters of wisdom taught by Jesus.
e.. Look to The Prophet, (Prophet Muhammed), who was foretold by Jesus, to guide them on all matters, as per the gospel - the good news - brought by him
IslamRe: Who Is an Anti-christ Btw Islam & Christianity by ayenny02(op): 12:00pm On Jun 21, 2013
According to Paul’s reasoning, the law which had bound Jesus(as) and his followers was no longer necessary, since Jesus had died. Now they were no longer "married" to Jesus, but to "the one", who had brought another law. It was, therefore, necessary to follow "the one" and not Jesus(as). Thus, anyone who held to Jesus' teaching had gone astray.

Paul's reasoning had two major consequences. It not only resulted in further changes being made to what Jesus had taught, but also prepared the way for completely changing people's ideas to who Jesus was. He was being transformed from a man to a conception in people's minds. This emphasis from Jesus as a man to the new image, which was divine, enabled the intellectuals in Greece and Rome to assimilate into their own philosophy what Paul and those who followed him were preaching. Their view of existence was a tripartite one, and, with the Pauline Church's talk of "God the Father" and the "Son of God", it only needed the inclusion of the "Holy Ghost" to have a Trinity which matched theirs.

It appears that Paul rationalized his actions by holding that there was no link between the period in which Jesus had lived and the period in which he himself now lived. Times had changed and the conditions which now prevailed were such that the teaching of Jesus was out of date and could no longer be applied. It had therefore become necessary to find a new basis for ethics. Paul took stock of the conditions which existed then taught what they seemed to require him to believe:

"All things are lawful unto me, but I will not be brought under the power of any." 1 Corinthians 7:12

Paul not only rejected both Moses and Jesus, but asserted that he was a law unto himself. Many people, obviously, could not accept this. Paul responded by saying:

"For if the truth of God hath more abounded through my lie unto His Glory; why yet I am also judged a sinner?" Romans 3:7-8

It would seem from this statement that, although he knew he was lying, Paul felt that the end justified the means, but it is not understood how truth would abound through a lie. According to this reasoning, if the man Jesus was equated with God, what objections could a follower of Jesus have?

'In reality' said Paul, 'the law produces wrath, but where there is now law, neither is there any transgression.' Romans 4:15

The abrogation of the Law of Moses by Paul has been a gradual process. In the beginning he started with a few innovations. Later the Gentile element kept on tampering with the books and introducing new ideas. Innovations introduced by Paul were simply to entice the Gentiles. He started with canceling the law of circumcision. But one wrong step let the next inequality, and ultimately it ended into a faith which more resembled pagan beliefs than the revealed teachings of Moses or Jesus (as)

I explained to you in one of your threads the meaning of seeing and hearing you are carrying about. Let me repeat it again, may be you stop using it to accuse Paul or the Bible.

HEARING A VOICE AND HEARING NOT THE VOICE:

1. Acts 9:7
And the men which journeyed with HIM stood speechless, hearing a voice, but seeing no man.

The men which journeyed with HIM.......(as against the men which journeyed with ME)
This is a reported speech. It was not Paul's own statement.

truthman2012: 2. Acts 22:9
And they that were with ME saw indeed the light, and were afraid; but they heard not the voice of him that spake to me

And they that were with ME saw indeed the light..........

Can't you see the difference? This was a statement made by Paul himself by the word 'ME'

Aisha said the prophet(saw) used to order her to put on an Izar (dress worn below the waist to cover her body) and used to handle her not intercourse. Prophet (saw) allows for men to be near their wives and to love them and care for them during messes but they shud stay away from intercourse,

IslamRe: Salams Guys, I Just Want An Honest Opinion On This by ayenny02(m):
@NL member
Was Aisha engaged to someone else before she got engaged to Muhammad?

Aisha was already engaged to a non Muslim man named Jubayr ibn Mut'im.  Back then, the people of Mecca did not object to Aisha's engagement to Jubayr because she was physically big enough and tall enough to be considered for marriage.  Her parents saw that and they engaged her to Jubayr.

The only reason why Aisha's father, Abu Baker Al Siddeek, broke her engagement with Jubayr is because he was a non-Muslim.  Later, a woman named Kholeah Bint Hakeem suggested for Prophet Muhammad peace be upon him to marry Aisha, because the Prophet and Abu Baker became best friends.   Prophet Muhammad engaged Aisha for 2 years before he married her.
All Muslim scholars agree 100% that Prophet Muhammad and Aisha were engaged for 2 years before marriage.  However, some say that she was 7 when she got engaged, and 9 when she got married.  Others say that she was 9 when she got engaged and 11 when she got married.

it makes more logical sense to say that she was 9 when she got engaged to Prophet Muhammad and 11 when she got married, because if she were 7 when she got engaged to the Prophet, then how old was she when she first got engaged to Jubayr?

Aisha's parents were the ones who married her to our Prophet, and that no Muslim or even pagan objected to the marriage because it was widely practiced.  And even until today in 3rd world countries (Muslims and non-Muslims), little girls as young as 9 or 10 do get married.

Prophet Muhammad's marriage with Aisha was 100% legal and acceptable by all laws and Divine Religions!

So to call Prophet Muhammad a pedophile for marrying a girl that was OFFERED TO HIM by her parents and was accepted by all of the people back then including the enemies of Islam, the pagans, is quite absurd

IN PICTURE BELOW, YOU WILL SEE A THAI GIRL WHO GAVE BIRTH AT AGE OF 9yrs
http://www.kboi2.com/news/local/18769804.html

In our world today, we still have people especially in the third world countries, marry very young girls.  Why should we call someone who married a 9-year old girl 1400 years ago a child molester, when we still practice it today?  The girl above even gave birth at the age of 9!

And should we also call Aisha's (our Prophet's wife) parents child molesters too, since they agreed by their own will and choice to marry their daughter to our Prophet, and they were proud of it too?

.......... And they that were with me saw indeed the light, and were afraid; but they HEARD NOT THE VOICE of him that spake to me.

So now as you can see, in Acts 22 Paul says the man saw a light, but heard no voice! In Acts 9 Paul says the men so no man, but heard a voice!!!!

The Pauline “Christians” that exist today do not follow Christ, they should be called Paulians. The true Christians were the Nazarenes and Ebionites that no longer exist.

Paul degraded Jesus in the following verses:

Therefore let us leave the elementary doctrine of Christ and go on to maturity, not laying again a foundation of repentance from dead works and of faith toward God, (Hebrews 6:1, English Standard Version)

Paul emphasized that Christ was not perfect, hence his teachings should be discarded, because according to Paul, they are like ‘filthy and useless rags’ (Isaiah 64:6) and we must excel towards “perfection and maturity”. The deceptive editors changed the English translation of Paul’s damaging words. This outrageous statement has been softened in many other versions of the Bible:

So let us stop going over the basics of Christianity again and again. Let us go on instead and become mature in our understanding. Surely we don't need to start all over again with the importance of turning away from evil deeds and placing our faith in God. (Hebrews 5:7. New Living Translation

blenble: After d much noise abt mohammed being d last messenger of islam/allah;wldnt be wrong for Jesus to come and take mohammed's place?(after all u ppl claim dt he is above Jesus)...THINK!
Many things need to be understood here. First, when the Quran and hadiths say that the prophet Muhammad is the final prophet, it means that he will be the final prophet sent to mankind with a revelation from God. Secondly, it means there will be no new prophets coming after him with a different book being given to them by God, with different regulations and rules etc.

When Jesus does return, he will not bring anything new, he will not preach a different message, rather he will stick with the Quran and the sunnah which was revealed unto the prophet Muhammad. So hence, this does not contradict the essence of what is mean when Muhammad is called the final prophet.

Narrated Abu Huraira:

Allah's Apostle said "How will you be when the son of Mary (i.e. Jesus) descends amongst you and he will judge people by the Law of the Quran and not by the Law of Gospel?" (Sahih al-Bukhari, Volume 4, Book 55, Number 658

So as you can see, Jesus will be ruling with the Quran and sunnah, not a new different law.

Jesus was a messenger of Allaah unto the children of Israel.

Let us see how Bible quotes the same words of Jesus (as):

" I am not sent but unto the lost sheep of the house of Israel. " (Matthew 15:24). In simpler words: Jesus says that he was sent (he is a messenger) only unto the house of Israel.

deSika: @ayenny

If i ask u where the bible calls that same spirit of God an angel you would start biting your tongue.
Holy Spirit, spirit of God is the Angel of the Old Testament. The Bible speaks of angels as “spirits” therefore the Holy Spirit is an angel.

"Teach me to do your will, for you are my God; may your good Spirit lead me on level ground.  (From the NIV Bible, Psalm 143:10)"

Who maketh his ANGELS SPIRITS; his ministers a flaming fire:
Who laid the foundations of the earth, that it should not be removed for ever. (Psalms 104:3-5)

Are not all angels ministering spirits sent to serve those who will inherit salvation? (Hebrews 1:14)

The word spirit is applied to angels; therefore the Holy Spirit is categorically an angel because he is also Spirit.

In Islam moslems bow before an object called The black stone of the kaba

[/color]

THIS CANNOT BE GOD

]
We worship GOD Almighty in the direction of His Grand Temple/House.  We never worship the Temple/House itself.  The Bible's Prophets in the Bible also had a "House of GOD Almighty" that they worshiped Him in.  Also, the Jews' wailing wall today is a similar example to the Muslims' Kaaba, where the Jews pray to GOD Almighty facing the wall.  The Bible also says:

"I will bow down toward your holy temple and will praise your name for your love and your faithfulness, for you have exalted above all things your name and your word.  (From the NIV Bible, Psalm 138:2)"

To simply put it:  You must bow down in humility to GOD Almighty.  That's a must and a given.  So, you must physically bow down somewhere, and naturally to some direction!  If you were to do it right now, you would be bowing towards a random direction.  Your physical presence on earth forces this upon you as a prostrating Believer to GOD Almighty, whether you like it or not.

The bowing down to GOD Almighty in the direction of the Kaaba, or the city of Mecca in general, is a way to unify all Muslims to bow down to GOD Almighty, as one body and one unity, towards one direction and towards His Holy Temple.

As to worshiping the cubic black building, the Kaaba, we absolutely do not worship it.  The Prophet of Islam said that the spilling OF A SINGLE DROP OF BLOOD from a Believer is more dearer to Allah Almighty than the demolishing of the entire Kaaba.  In other words, a single drop of blood from a Muslim Believer is more dearer to Allah Almighty than the entire black cubic building

So it is not something we worship.  It is only a point and a direction that brings us together as one.

deSika: 3. the Holyspirit is not an angel and is not a chosen leader of the angels to God’s prophets and messengers
The Holy Spirit is among the heavenly beings, and spiritual agents who serve God, bible says;
When you send your Spirit, they are created, and you renew the face of the earth. (Psalms 104:30)

And the dust returns to the ground it came from, and the spirit returns to God who gave it. (Ecclesiastes 12:7)

God is the creator of the angels (spirits), the Holy Spirit is the “Angel of the Lord” in the Old Testament.

The Old Testament refers to the same entity under different titles:

(1) The Spirit of God

(2) The Angel of the Lord or Angel of God (Genesis 21:17, 31:11, Exodus 14:19, etc)

(3) The Holy Spirit or Holy Ghost (New Testament)

Let us quote the passages for each title; they cannot possibly be three distinct spirits:

And the earth was without form, and void; and darkness was upon the face of the deep. And the Spirit of God moved upon the face of the waters. (Genesis 1:2)

Now let us quote the passages for the second title, the same being:

And the angel of the LORD found her by a fountain of water in the wilderness, by the fountain in the way to Shur. (Genesis 16:7)

And the angel of the LORD appeared unto him in a flame of fire out of the midst of a bush: and he looked, and, behold, the bush burned with fire, and the bush was not consumed. (Exodus 3:2)

Specifically, the angel of the Lord who appeared to Moses is the Holy Spirit who appeared to Jesus:

And Jesus, when he was baptized, went up straightway out of the water: and, lo, the heavens were opened unto him, and he saw the Spirit of God descending like a dove, and lighting upon him: (Matthew 3:16)

The Spirit of God and the Angel of the Lord are the same entit
deSika: its because the HolySpirit is a distinct spirit, he is actually the spirit of God himself.
DESIKA believes the Holy Spirit is God, therefore he must accept the Holy Spirit is the creator of evil:

I form the light, and create darkness: I make peace, and create evil: I the LORD do all these things. (Isaiah 45:7)

If DESIKA believes God is holy spirit, then from bible Psalms 44:20-21
If we have forgotten the name of our God, or stretched out our hands to a strange god; Shall not God search this out? for he knoweth the secrets of the heart.

God knows the secrets of the heart, yet if the Holy Spirit is God, then he must also know the secrets of the heart. Yet, once again, the Bible contradicts this idea.  Jesus was “filled with the Holy Spirit” but he didn’t know who touched him (Mark 5:31).

deSika: smileythen you have a problem with comprehension. so because mathew mention holyghost and luke mention angel, that makes holyghost angel kwo. then after u would say you are an adult. look at the bolded and tell me if they are the same thing. luke 1:35 and the angel answered and said unto her. the holyghost shall come upon thee.

can you see that the angel and the holyghost are different. the verse did not read "and the angel answered and said unto her, i gabriel shall come upon thee" seriously what do yu use to reason, am not sure its your brain.
Holy spirit still not mean God from your explanation, am trying to let u understand that God is God and Holyghost, holy spirit, gabriel are the creations of God and Jesus is a human being not God or holy spirit

Angels are spirits created by God, they are different from the spirit which God breathes into human beings, it becomes conscience after death and returns to God.  Obviously, the “soul” and “spirit” are the same, but angels are not human spirits, they are ones who take our spirits at death, (Angel of Death), they are a different species altogether.

My point is the Bible shows that angels are spirits but GOD is the creator of the spirits,

There are only two passages in the Bible that identify angels as spirits (Ps. 104:3, Heb. 1:14), now if we apply these verses to the Holy Spirit, there is complete harmony, the Holy Spirit is an angel, he is the chosen leader of the angels to God’s prophets and messengers, yet the Bible says that Cyrus the pagan was inspired, and so was Balaam, by the Spirit, and they were not prophets!

Let us quote the verses that speak of angels as spirits:

Who layeth the beams of his chambers in the waters: who maketh the clouds his chariot: who walketh upon the wings of the wind:Who maketh his angels spirits; his ministers a flaming fire:Who laid the foundations of the earth, that it should not be removed for ever. (Psalms 104:3-5)

Are not all angels ministering spirits sent to serve those who will inherit salvation? (Hebrews 1:14)

We find there is no reason not to apply these verses to the Holy Spirit. The Psalm is stating that God “maketh angels as spirits” and Hebrews says that angels “are sent to those who will inherit salvation” which denotes the role of the Holy Spirit.

now this question got me startled

if you are a wise somebody you would have been able to see that since Jesus is spirit, Holyspirit is Spirit and Father is Spirit and there is one spirit, that all are one since all are same spirit.

i know say you go come ask another stupid question o, but before you show your foolishness again ask yourself whether Is God a spirit or not, that will explain why the father is called spirit, is Holyspirit a spirit or not, that explains the Holyspirit, then na only Jesus own remain, but thank God say yu see am for bible.
I can see your level of ignorance, I just wasting my time explain what you yourself don't know nothing abt it.
I will explain it to you to know the different btw God, Jesus and Holy spirit

HOLY SPIRIT AND HOLY GHOST MEAN ANGEL GABRIEL
Matthew 1:18
18 Now the birth of Jesus Christ was on this wise: When as his mother Mary was espoused to Joseph, before they came together, she was found with child of the Holy Ghost.

Compare now with Luke 1:26-27
26 And in the sixth month the angel Gabriel was sent from God unto a city of Galilee, named Nazareth,

27 To a virgin espoused to a man whose name was Joseph, of the house of David; and the virgin's name was Mary.

Mattew mentioned holy ghost and luke mentioned the angel gabriel, so the HOLY GHOST is then the ANGEL GABRIEL

So GOD is GOD,

Holy spirit or Holy Ghost is ANGEL GABRIEL

JESUS is...........................

From my explanation I want you yourself to answer what jesus is before I will know maybe I will continue with Paraclete or not because without you don't know the meaning of Holy ghost definitely you will not understand others

blenble: If u had read d Bible, you wld v known that His disciples witness his death and resurrection!
Btw,did u just ask me whether Jesus witness His own death??
Simple question give verses where the disciiples witness the death and resurrection of Jesus unless u forge it, and if you forge it.
blenble: A time u said,"which religion will Jesus come for?"; another time you said,"are we still expecting Jesus?"!
You see how confuse you are?

Tomorrow maybe too late for you!
Yes, I said Jesus was not a christian and also he only sent for loss sheep of isreality
"And Jesus said to them, 'A prophet is not without honour, except in his own country, and among his own kin, and in his own house.'" (also in Matthew 13:57, Luke 4:24 and John 4:43).

Jesus also said:  "These twelve Jesus sent out with the following instructions: 'Do not go among the Gentiles or enter any town of the Samaritans. Go rather to the lost sheep of Israel.'  (Matt 10:5-6)"

These are the words of Jesus in the Bible.  It is quite obvious that Jesus was NOT sent to Mankind and Christianity isn't a religion for Mankind.  Even if Jesus did die on the cross for people's sins, he didn't do it for all nations' sins, but for the Jews alone who believed in him

blenble: Good, atleast you have agreed that He is not coming for you and that He is not coming to declare islam or any religion for that matter!
I have already given you the verse of the Quran and Hadith that mention second coming of Jesus (as) for muslim
blenble: And to answer your question,YES, WE ARE EXPECTING HIS RETURN-HIS CHURCH AND BODY ARE WAITING FOR HIM! WE KNOW HE IS COMING,HE TOLD US SO AND WE BELIEVE HIM!
HE HAD TOLD US WHAT TO EXPECT;HE HAS GIVEN US THE SIGNS SUCH AS false prophets/false religion THAT WILL COME IN HIS NAME TO DECIEVE MANY!
How do you expect Jesus to come for you when the prophecy of jesus has failed in your bible

............. I tell you the truth, this generation will certainly not pass away until all these things have happened. (Matthew 24: 4-8, 20-35)

Verily I say unto you, There be some standing here, which shall not taste of death, till they see the Son of man coming in his kingdom. (Matthew 16:28)

Verily I say unto you, All these things shall come upon this generation. (Matthew 23:36, Mark 13:30 Luke 21:31)
blenble: HE HAD TOLD US THAT HE IS GOING TO PREPARE A PLACE FOR US-HIS BODY;HIS CHURCH!
