Just few days ago, an Enugu-based renowned Catholic priest, Rev. Ejike Mbaka lambasted and warned president Goodluck Jonathan to forget about his 2015 election bid and allow Buhari to be the next president . Rev. Fr. Ejike Mbaka Of Catholic Adoration Centre in Enugu. Photo: urbansturvs.com The Enugu Catholic priest and founder of the Adoration Ministry, Rev. Fr. Ejike Mbaka, yesterday raised the alarm that he has been receiving threat messages following his New Year eve message where he said that Nigeria would be doomed if President Goodluck Jonathan is re-ele The priest who anointed the president and his wife, Dame Patience in front of his church members in November however came up to in December to declare that the president should step aside for his opponent, Buhari to be the president of the country come Feberuary 2015. The reverend has however in a sermon at the Christ the King Catholic Parish GRA, Enugu, yesterday, said if such threats could move him, he would not even be standing before the congregation that morning. Sun reports that he said: “Tell them I am not afraid of them. I have said what I was asked to say. The only word I have for them is Isaiah 54:15,17: “Surely they shall gather, but because the gathering is not of God they shall scatter. No weapon fashioned against me shall prosper. They said Buhari gave me money, but I have never met with Buhari. I don’t know him in person. I only delivered the message I was given and I stand by that message because the future of this country is bleak with Jonathan on the saddle.” Rev. Mbaka said before he gave the December 31, 2014 message, he had called Mrs. Patience Jonathan sever ally but couldn’t get to her. “When she came here, I told her to give me her number so that I could give her messages, but thrice she refused. It was later she told one of the pastors with her to give me his number. So, before that message, I had called the number for two weeks but it was always the Personal Assistant to the pastor that picked the calls. “ Warning all Nigerians about needed change, Mbaka srepeated that if Jonathan was re-elected for another tenure, “the next four years will be hell for the country. People are crying of hunger but then you will see what is hunger. ” NAIJ.COM |

“If I’m voted into power, within the next four years, the issue of power will become a thing of the past. Four years is enough for anyone in power to make a significant improvement and if I can’t improve on power within this period, it then means I cannot do anything… If i remember this i feel like going to inec to get my vote back.Clueless |

People should understand the fact that pdp today is not the true pdp that helped GEJ to victory. The structure of the party is shaking and they are seriously afraid.A good politician should know where to run to before they lock you outside.Apc for change. |
We are all waiting to hear the final news. |
What a country! made up of interesting species. |
In every beginning there is an end.An end has come for Buhari. |
Imagine a man attending a job interview without his credentials. When asked to present them he yaps, "they're with my grandma in the village." We should not lose the fact that GMB is seeking for employment as the president of the Federal Republic of Nigeria. I think this is no different than any person applying for a managerial job in an organisation. If he wins the election, he will become the CEO of the multifaceted entity called Nigeria. I am bewildered by the nefarious silence of the APC who are trying to impose him on Nigeria. In any recruitment process, the normal thing is to present your original credentials for sighting and then submit the photocopies for filing and further verification, before you go ahead to talk about your experience and what you have to offer. We're no longer in the 60s and70s when anybody can takeover the government at will. These days even traditional rulers are well educated. If educational qualification is not an issue, I should be made the CBN governor or the GMD of NNPC. |
WHO WILL CALL THE BLOOD THIRSTY TERRORIST, ASARI DOKUBO TO ORDER BEFORE HE UNLEASHES MAYHEM ON OUR NATION? I remain perplexed that in Nigeria we have a self DECLARED TERRORIST who is actually going on TV, RADIO AND NEWSPAPERS to say he will overrun sections of the country and KILL people if President Jonathan is not reelected and the security forces are NOT doing anything to him because he is SUPPORTING the President? I am equally amazed that peace loving people are not calling him out and using him as a PRAYER POINT against violence in our nation. What kind of country protects and showcase a KNOWN and UNREPENTANT Terroist who is promising mayhem in 2015. Certainly this is one of the reasons we need to pray against violence. I for one am NOT afraid of terrosits like Asari Dokubo who wants to intimidate a whole nation because he has the support of the govt. Today I go against the SPIRIT OF WARFARE IN ALL TERRORISTS IN OUR NATION - WHETHER FROM NORTH WEST, NORTH EAST, SOUTH-SOUTH OR SOUTH-WEST. For all those planning to distrupt our nation ofr their selfish ends if their candidate did not win in 2015, I say the LORD REBUKES YOU! THE LORD REBUKES THE SPIRIT OF DESTRUCTION AT WORK IN YOUR LIVES! Surely, MY GOD IS BIGGER THAN ANY ONE AND ANYTHING. Today ASARI DOKUBO, hear ye the Word of he Lord, 'he who rises by the sword shall surely perish by the sword' unless they repent quickly. Today, I pray against the spirit of warfare and violence in our nation, from any quarters, whether North, South, East Or West. I say with all boldness and with the blood of Jesus over my life, you and people like you, will NOT have the final say over our Nation. THERE WILL BE PEACE IN 2015 regardless of who wins the coming elections, whether it is current president or another cnadidate. We CANCEL EVERY THOUGHT OF WAR from all quarters in our nation! As we march into 2015, let the Lord ARISE and let all the enemies of Nigeria be scattered!IJN. I PLEAD HTE BLOOD OF JESUS THAT SPEAKS SPEAKS BETTER THINGS LIKE PEACE AND LOVE OVER OUR NATION AND REBUKE THE BLOOD OF ABEL THAT CRIES FOR VENGEANCE. IJN hardtalknaija.com |
Renowned Catholic Priest, Rev. Fr. Ejike Mbaka, has urged President Goodluck Jonathan to abandon his re-election bid so that the All Progressives Congress candidate, Maj.Gen Muhammadu Buhari (retd.) can emerge the winner of the presidential election next month. Mbaka, who heads the popular Catholic Adoration Centre in Enugu, said this in his New Year sermon titled “From Good luck to Bad luck,” while addressing thousands of parishioners on Thursday. He urged all well-meaning Nigerians to vote for Buhari on February 14. According to the cleric, Jonathan has disappointed Nigerians and cannot deliver the dividends of democracy to the people. Mbaka subsequently knelt down in front of the altar, cried and asked God to give Nigeria a good leader and not Jonathan. He used the opportunity to beg Nigerians to vote wisely in the forthcoming elections. He said, “I love President Goodluck Jonathan and I used to be his ardent fan, but I want good for my people and that’s why I want Nigerians to vote out Goodluck Jonathan and vote General Muhammad Buhari. I don’t care if Buhari is a Muslim and from the North; all I care about is that Buhari can save Nigeria.” Ironically, Mbaka had recently endorsed Jonathan’s re- election. It was learnt that the Deputy Senate President, Ike Ekweremadu, had taken Jonathan’s wife, Patience, to Mbaka, where the cleric said he would pray for Jonathan’s victory. However, after prayers, Mbaka said the sign he received from God was that Jonathan was not fit to rule the nation anymore. Mbaka further explained that one of the reasons Jonathan is no longer fit to rule Nigeria for the next four years was the high level of insecurity which the President had failed to address as well as corruption in the country. He said it was unfortunate that the over 200 Chibok girls who were abducted by terrorists over 200 days ago had not been rescued despite series of promises made by Jonathan. He further urged the Federal Government to account for the missing $20bn and stop insurgency in the country. Mbaka maintained that Buhari could not Islamise Nigeria as being rumoured in some circles. He said he had never met the APC candidate but urged Nigerians not to forget that Buhari fought corruption to a standstill during his administration between December 1983 and August 1985. The Chief of Staff, Government House Port Harcourt, Chief Tony Okocha has said the radical change initiated by Governor Rotimi Amaechi’s administration in the state has attracted many people to accept his agenda and support for All Progressive Congress (APC) in the State. He said the massive investment in education, health, road construction, youths’ empowerment and so many others, has made Rivers people to reckon with the APC government in the state, adding that governor Amaechi’s legacy will give APC 90% chance of winning the state in the forthcoming general elections. Chief Okocha who was speaking at his Rumuigbo residence in Port Harcourt yesterday, said Amaechi led administration enthroned good measure of transparency and accountability in his government, making it difficult for corrupt individuals to loot peoples common wealth. He said many people are yearning for change because of the lack of responsible government at the national level, arguing that the two million votes given to Mr President by Rivers people in 2011 was a wasteful venture. He noted that Ikwerre people will never forget Amaechi’s boldness to ensure that Ikwerre man did not succeed Ikwerre man for the interest of the future of their children and unborn children. “The chances of winning Rivers State are very clear and bright. The truth of the matter is that the legacy of his Excellency speaks volume of APC and our people are desirous of change and that is because the only thing that is permanent is change. “That is what we want to continue with indelible marks in the sand of time. The people are very happy with Governor Amaechi. When you cause radical changes like Amaechi has done, people are likely to go with you. If you take a statistical data in the state, you will see that almost everybody is yearning for change. “We gave Mr President two million votes in 2011 and today we have nothing to show for it. He has not imparted the lives of Rivers people. The issue of electricity in Nigeria is a total failure, but Ghana can boost of eighteen hours power supply. So that shows the PDP government has failed. “For us the people of Ikwerre Ethnic nationality, we did not think that for the interest of an individual, the future of our children and unborn children will be subjugated because Ikwerre man wants to succeed an Ikwerre man. Power will leave us one day, then Ikwerre history in future will be redefined.”http://thenationonlineng.net/new/amaechis-legacy-gives-apc-90-chance-winning-rivers-okocha/
