Guy,most ND students are victim of I must leave home at least(unlike few others that dream it).the struggle continues after ur ND(SIWES,IT,HND/DE,Discrimination,PGD) and many more.why not go for your Bsc(Math) u can obviosly work anywia 'cos of ur calculative advantage.u can as well go for management(Msc).
I will never choose any Poly over University 'cos I'm also a product of such discrimination and struggle.After my ND here I am(a fresher (100l)in unilorin in anoda dept) guy abeg no waist time ooo.

I might nt know his own reason bt that is a fact. Am a product of yabatech computer science ND and here i am applying for direct entry into unilorin.and going back 2 do HND is not even an option for me now.please dont let anybody deceive u by telling u dat yabatech does more practical dan unilorin because d fact is that there is no difference between both cos they only give u theory and little or no practical at all. Moreover the university is far more respected than the polytechnic nowadays xcept u re into the IT world where its based on what u can offer.
My advice for u is that if u know what u want that is if u really want and dream 2 b a civil engr then go to yabatech. Bt if u know u re okay with both courser please and please goto unilorin.

Nice one even if he tinks civil engrg is his dream, let him go and get it from a university, let him dnt jst waste his time, 4 of my colleagues are from yabatech wt der ND buh dey applied for jamb, and wat dey all said is dat even if jamb or DE didn't work dey will take again upper yr, dat dey are nt even tinkin of hnd as an option... Need i remind you that the early jamb has affected the Procedures of all Universities.
1. Unaab has never in its History concluded its admission process before september.
2, Lasu has never released all its adsmission list by September.( I could remember my name came out in december)
3. Unilag has never screened its first batch candidates before September.
4. Unilorin has never released any of its admission lists before mid-august.
5. I can remember EKSU wrote its pume by September last yr but now their pume has been concluded.

1) U guys dnt get d pic yet, wer яe u doin ur IT, am doin mine in d bank and i knw wat discrimination is, my boss is 23yrs old and she is treatin HND grad like trash(peeps wey reach born her), na only BSc she get oo, and bank is one of the best paid place for HND grads even if they dnt get more dan 120k no mata hw many yrs dey work and dey are nt called staffs...
2)You spend 2 yrs for ur ND, one yr IT den d 4th yr you get admitted into 200l in2 a uni, lossin 2yrs(only if you grad wt an upper credit minimum, and if you dnt av spill, u jst lost 2yrs wen u can stay at home read well and clear in jst one year... And u guys knw hw tof it is to get an upper crdt. My class of 102 we had jst a distinctn and 9 upper.
3) In search for a job after grad u see HND shld nt apply boldly written on newspapers, in lesser jobs dey write SSCE,ND and HND only, and you tell me that its worth givin a try?

Its already registered in der database, no issue on dat jst dat d web developer needs to work more on dat.

Merit list are never altered in all instutution I dnt care were u get ur info from or watever, all school keep der integrity to elevate der ranking among institution am nt der wt u so hw am I to knw if d gurl said d truth n if her name was on d MERIT list also remember catchment area n ELDS are also included on d merit list n der score are always relatively low compared to odas...
MERIT list I repeat can't be altered even by d VC dats y der is room for oda lists to follow. DON'T CARE WAT U TINK ANYWAY(na my mind I speak, n wat am sure of)

Its ur choice to make n its a decision dat will affect ur future, both schools are nice and fast, if am to choose I will go for agric engrg, its very lucrative, in ur finals u wud choose options like FOOD ENGINEERING(act as food scientist), IRRIGATION ENGRG(act as civil engr), SOIL n WATER ENGRG dos r d major option n UNAAB is an Agricultural school so U wud enjoy d course. Anyway its ur decision to make as I said earlier, pay ur acceptance fees den make more enquires from MEN n nt BOYs before choosing... Best of luck
