chiiraq802:Ikr? The faux outrage is shocking to say the least. He only just officially stamped a practice that has been going on for years - possibly decades - across Nigeria. |
Mistersolar:Okay. I guess you're referring to a set of Nigerian voters different from the ones we saw in the rerun elections that took place two months ago. |
Hehehehe... dem wan use Anambra test run the template. Last las, we all gon learn this politics together! The biggest mistake ever made by the opposition was not coming together to stop PBAT in 2023 when he was just a candidate without an office; but you see this one that he has sat down in Aso Villa as President & opposition are still going around in circles? He'll beat 'em silly, they won't even be able to cry! |
Lol. Their tears is understandable; it's painful when you finally come to the realization that you don't matter in the scheme of things. You see that table where the "national cake" is shared? Tribe, religion or political affiliations don't matter. What matters there is the language of chop-I-chop! |
“For me, I would say try your best to put your house in order. I will not help you do so. It is, indeed, a pleasure to witness you in such disarray." |
Like I said before, I am not supposed to respond to matters such as these as they're not my responsibility. You contradicted my assertion that Pastor Nathaniel Bassey's YouTube isn't monitized, labeling it false. Well, here's my final response. If you still believe his YouTube is monitized or that he has to conceal some "imaginary" stream of income from there because "he has bill to pay and family to feed" then I'm afraid Sir, you're the one who's delusional. Shalom! Pythagoras001:

This post smacks of crass ignorance! Say whatever you like about Christianity, Churches & Pastors but you calling Hallelujah Challenge a "scam" is peak tomfoolery. First of, none of Pastor Nathaniel Bassey's social media pages (YouTube especially) are monetized. Secondly, he has never compelled anyone to give; HC partners are willing, cheerful and consistent givers and none of them have come out to allege they were scammed of their hard earned money so, why are you "crying more than the bereaved?" Thirdly, dress like your miracle is an act of faith. If you don't believe it, what's your business with those who believe it? Live and let live! God forgive me! I wasn't supposed to respond to this but then.... |
Lol. Mr. Bayo Onanuga just keeps dragging the reputation of the Presidency in the mud. Mr. Rufai Oseni can be a tad unprofessional sometimes but what type of response is that for Pete's sake? The sensible thing to have done would've been to take the time to "school" Rufai and explain those loans/provide context but he just had to turn it into a rofo rofo. |

I like your analysis, it has depth. Would love to read your take on the possible outcomes for SS/SE & SW. Akpakomiza2: |
Akpakomiza2:I just saw now somewhere on X that he's Igala; the Waidi in his name must have fooled me. Meanwhile, it's not hard to find Okun Muslims ooo; I'm from there although a Christian, all my relatives (Uncles, Aunts, Cousins) on my Mom's side are Muslims. |
AVM Aneke has a very solid profile. I wish him all the best. Meanwhile, the strategic topmost positions in the military (Defence Chief, Defence Intelligence & Air Chief) with ability to deal with the rising wave of insecurity especially in the North have been handed over to Southerners while the Army is now in the firm control of a north-central battle-tested general. Hopefully, these changes will bring about visible and positive outcomes in the fight against banditry and terrorism. |
Kogi (Okuns) eating good under PBAT. Prominent Okun sons are getting strategic and very important appointments under this administration - first it was Prof. Joash Amupitan (SAN) as INEC Chairman & now, Maj.-Gen. Waidi Shuaibu as COAS. I hope these two appointees will justify the confidence reposed in them by the President and also represent Okunland well. I wish the new COAS success. |
Ah!! Kano? If they can gain a foothold in Kano, it's finished! However, the only consolation is Kano people don't tolerate nonsense; they'd rather kill these bandits in their numbers or die trying but they'll not rollover like some chicken about to be slaughtered. Those bandits too better watch it! Kanawa don't play! |
Yes. This takes into account the possible opposition aspirants not uniting under one umbrella to face the behemoth called APC & PBAT. DeepSight: |
'Pride goes before a fall' has never been more evident than in this guy. You own the media? Own the game? Lol. |
Editorialtimes:Lol. I actually want GEJ to contest so that we can test something... Personally, I believe he'll lose woefully (3rd or 4th depending on if the race includes PBAT, AA, PO, RMK & GEJ). His entry into the race will ruin PO's chances considerably as the SS & SE are his stronghold but with GEJ running, his support base will be limited to SE and if previous presidential polls are anything to go by, you can become president of Nigeria without winning or even scoring 25% of the total votes cast in the SE. While it weakens PO & AA's chances in the SS to the advantage of GEJ, it helps PBAT's chances slightly especially in Rivers (the Wike factor & then the Ogonis/Riverine will vote massively for PBAT for obvious reasons) some parts of Delta (Itsekiri), Bayelsa (APC has a modest support base there not to mention that the Minister of State for Petroleum, Sen. Lokpobiri will be pulling some strings there too), Akwa Ibom, Cross River (not really expecting much from here but the combination of Gov. Otu & Min. John Owan Enoh may yet come in handy) & Edo (the Okpebholo effect) will churn out those numbers. The battle will be fought & lost in the NW & NE and with a heavy financial war chest, I don't see how the coalition plan to outspend the APC (yes, money, more than ever before, will play the most important role in 2027 that's why the most impoverished the people are, the better for the incumbent. It's the unfortunate reality, sadly. In the NC, APC will do better than in 2023 especially in Plateau, Kogi (Kogi West people will vote massively for APC than previous polls), FCT (with Wike as Minister and knowing his type of politics, PBAT will get at least 25% here) & Nasarawa. Unfortunately for the APC, they'll most likely not get as much votes as they did in 2023 in Kwara, Niger & Benue. The party will however get 25%. I predict that P.O will do better in the NC in 2027 than he did in 2023 only difference this time is PBAT will cover some grounds. I expect AA to win convincingly in Niger, Nasarawa, Kaduna, Bauchi, Zamfara, Sokoto, Adamawa, Jigawa, Kebbi, Katsina, Yobe & Borno. It'll be a close contest between him & PBAT in Taraba & Gombe. Kano is too early to call as RMK's yet to decide if he'll be working with PBAT or he'll be running again; if the former, APC will win Kano with a moon slide but if the latter, PBAT & AA will have a photo finish of course, behind RMK. However, with the financial war chest at APC's disposal, PBAT may just weaponize the poverty prevalent in the North to his advantage. In North - depending on states won - AA will come tops, followed closely by PBAT (all thanks to the better outing I predict APC will have in Kaduna esp. S/Kaduna, Plateau, Kogi, FCT, Taraba, Bauchi esp. S/Bauchi where Rt. Hon. Dogara hails from) then GEJ, PO & RMK. In the SW, I predict that PBAT will have a better outing than he did in 2023 then followed by either GEJ or PO then AA & RMK. Overall, I predict that GEJ & PO will either come 3rd or 4th in no particular order. The real contest will be between AA & PBAT. |
Ofunaofu:Lol. Malam Bolaji Abdullahi is one funny opposition spox. APC jittery over ADC's "popularity" in no other state than Ekiti? If ADC too try, dem go get reach10k votes for Ekiti; as it were today, there's no opposition to APC in Ekiti, NONE! |
shrinkchido:Lol. Again, take whatever comes from SR with a pinch of salt. aylipple: |
DiamondsAreFore:The Tinubu administration is one helluva strange one; they'll put the cart before the horse then start pondering 🤔 why things or Nigerians are groaning. Shouldn't they have sorted the modalities for use of these imported tractors before they arrived such that immediately after "cutting the tape", they're deployed? Why should its use be dictated by the Presidency per Guardian Newspaper report? While Sen. Abubakar Kyari himself too can't escape taking some of the blame (man has literally abandoned his work as Minister to focus on his purported governorship ambition in Borno). |
johnie:Will do. I wanted to steal a sneak peek first to be sure it'll be worth my time and data but after the first 3 minutes and your recommendation (I take it you've watched it all), I'll definitely finish up on watching the rest of it. |
I watched for the first 3 minutes and I was actually impressed; that guy the interview started with represented Rwanda very well! Guy has explored more Nigerian foods than actual Nigerians themselves. On the flip side, I think we (Nigerians) don't travel enough especially within Africa and we don't read enough about the rest of Africa & Africans. I'm not sure if it's the economy or our lack of interest in anything/anyone outside Nigeria (maybe 'coz we've got too much problems of ours to be bothered about what/who doesn't concern us directly). Aside the well-known Rwandan genocide & how clean and beautiful Kigali is, I doubt up to 70% of Nigerians (yours truly inclusive) know anything else about that country. Those who say "traveling is education" or something like that didn't lie. |
You too like quarrel. On a serious note now, it'd be difficult for anyone who's interested in having access to a broad, secured, diverse and rich market to invest anywhere outside Lagos or Ogun. Both states aren't only investor-friendly (they're friendly to investors who are law abiding not those who break the law in the name of "investment" and when the law turns around to bite 'em in the ass they'd start emotional blackmails), they're strategically positioned. hafeeanubasy: |
I admire Tacha's growth since her BBN days. Unlike some of her co-reality stars especially the females whose sole focus is the glam life, Tacha has never been shy to lend her voice to socio-economic and political matters and she does it with so much conviction. As other times, she's spot on! |
blamingthedevil:Can Mr. Massad Boulos empty his pockets first? I want to check for agbado🌽. Lol. Coming from a senior U.S Presidential Advisor, this is huge statement of support for the Nigerian Government's stance that there's no genocide against Christians. Meanwhile, only those who are yet to get over 2023 & who are looking for a backdoor entrance into Aso Rock in 2027 are parroting the unfounded allegation that Boko Haram/I SWAP/Lakurawa/Bandits are targeting Christians mostly. Ask them, those being killed by UGM/ESN/IPOB in the Southeast, were they killed because they're Christians? Why's it only the killings in the North that's being given a religious connotation? Also, why has Atiku, Pantami, El-rufai, Amaechi, Aregbesola, Obi and other members of the opposition maintained a suspicious silence over these allegations that appear to be sponsored by foreign elements? Naturally, Atiku, El-rufai and Pantami et al being Muslim northerners and who should know better ought to have rejected this narrative but because they're silently hoping PDTJ would do an "Obama" on PBAT, they're indifferent. They also don't want to appear to Southern Christians as religious bigots. Also, they don't want to be reminded of the stance they took or didn't take when Deborah was brutally killed by religious extremists in Sokoto for alleged blasphemy. For Amaechi, Obi & co., they'd not want to risk appearing to their Southern brothers as pandering to the Muslim north; either ways for these groups of politicians, silence is golden to them. |
These couple of complaints here about depreciation of camera quality over time is concerning. Other than that, the specs are mouth-watering. |
phosky:Gov. Agbu Kefas, Gov. Caleb Muftwang and Gov. Ademola Adeleke (after he must have secured his re-election). |
abc115: |
Lol. "My name is Ben Murray-Bruce and I just want to make common sense" yen yen yen... Oga, have you gotten tired of making "common sense"? |
This was my response yesterday to the report about 3 PDP Reps members from Kaduna State defecting to APC. aylipple:Even the blind can see the political Tsunami that's APC coming! |
Wait, Prof. Ango Abdullahi's son (Hon. Sadiq Ango Abdullahi/Sabon Gari Federal Constituency) dumped PDP for APC? Wawu! While this is good for APC, it remains to be seen how they'll manage these gale of defections especially by politicians seeking re-election and old members of the party who are eyeing same positions. There'll still be a wave of defections from the APC to ADC (if it's still standing by then) or any other SPV the opposition hops on for 2027. It's well with PDP. |
Nemere2020:That number is guaranteed to swell further with the impending defection of Senator representing Kaduna South, Sunday Katung, joining the APC any moment. Then, APC will see its ranks further rise with the soon to be made public defections of Governors Agbu Kefas, Duoye Diri, Caleb Muftwang, Abba Yusuf and Simi Fubara respectively. Governors Dauda Lawal, Ahmadu Fintiri & Ademola Adeleke will eventually dump PDP (the latter likely to do so after his reelection) but while Lawal may likely want to join the ADC, the others may likely join the ruling party. |

...he probably see the campaigners as good for nothing
