Someone divulged the retired general’s movement to the bandits because from indications (the Peugeot 406 especially), he traveled disguised as an ordinary citizen; no military escort no flashy automobile. As a retired general of the Nigerian Army, he’s entitled to military personnel at his beck and call for life as well as an SUV among other perks but the man must have assumed he was traveling under the radar till his abduction. Also, the fact that the bandit kingpin requested for the release of his relatives from detention in exchange for the retired general and his wife is yet another indication that this wasn’t a random abduction - it was well timed in advance. Hopefully, the bandit leader will release the couple unharmed. |
Lol. Gawuna against Shekarau in Kano Central? Your guess is as good as mine. I wish him all that he wishes himself. |
Lol. These are the same sets of politicians & their supporters that will castigate INEC for not announcing election results within 24-48hrs yet, ordinary primary elections is taking them more than 48hrs. Meanwhile, Amaechi tried with the results announced so far. However, it's clear as daylight that the ADC ticket isn't for him, it belongs to H.E Alh. Atiku Abubakar. |
When you hear men like Dr. Sam Amadi speak this way, they're indirectly voicing frustration over the coalition's decision not to give ticket to the serial runner from party primaries. |
Lol. You would think anyone was denying them their right to endorse or vote for a presidential candidate of their choice that’s not the incumbent. |
Let’s all pretend as if we don’t know why the clergyman made the call for GEJ not to run. Let’s all pretend the call was for altruistic reasons. Let’s all pretend we don’t know to whose immense disadvantage it is it GEJ actually throws his hat in the ring for 2027. Let’s all pretend.... |
Lol. Politics ya werey gan!! DOE is now quoting Psalms of help as he's confronted by his toughest political obstacle yet Truth is, once you've stayed for too long within Nigeria's political systems, you lose any sense of self-survival outside of it. Why won't this be the case when for at least 4yrs of being in office, you receive jumbo salaries, allowances, patronages etc for doing next to nothing. |
Lol. All this epistle because of one man. Abeg, GEJ run for office jare. |
When APC & PBAT were busy courting Kwankwaso and the rumors began to swirl that Tinubu might drop Shettima for the former Kano Governor in 2027, my in-law who doesn’t support the APC said something profound - that will be Tinubu’s biggest mistake. According to him, Kwankwoso is as dangerous as they come and would start fighting Tinubu from day 1; today, I can see some truth in his assessment of Kwankwaso. He’s always leading and in front whenever they’re walking. If the ticket is indeed OK not KO, he should know his place protocol wise. Also, that stunt he pulled the day they formally declared for NDC doesn’t portray him as one ready to play second fiddle in this political relationship. However, I wish them the best. |
Lol. Later they'll say ADC isn't Atiku's personal SPV. How is ADC releasing a poster confirming receipt of Atiku's nomination form fees but didn't do same for Amaechi? Anyways, that's their wahala. |
Can't believe I spent over 4mins of my time & data watching this. |
Honestly, I don’t know how people (READ: Obidients) can’t see through this man. It’s as if their eyes, ears & hearts have been blinded, blocked & closed to anything that may suggest their lofty ideas of the man are faulty because how can a man confidently and unashamedly say he always avoids (run from) problems (yet, problems always seem to follow his political journeys) whenever he is confronted with one & his supporters don’t see that confession as a huge red flag? There’s a reason why most job applicants during interviews and on their CV always include “ability to work under pressure” as a competency even though they may not even know what it means to really “work under pressure” but a man who wants to be President of a severely fractured and divided nation where pressures, opposition, problems just to mention a few, come with the job, has an “avoid problems at all cost” or “run away when faced with the option of staying to fight for what he believes in” mentality. Anyways, if you’re a part of the myrmidon (all thanks to Nobel laureate Prof. Wole Soyinka) and you quote me for obvious reasons, I’ll just ignore your existence the way late PMB during his administration ignored Ayo “The Rock” Fayose’s rants for 8 solid years! Not one response! |
Lol. As usual, blame Tinubu and APC. Shebi Mr. Peter Obi is a political "force"? He should join any other party if he so wishes because if he eventually dumps the ADC for NDC inspite of the caveat emptor hanging over that political party, we don't want to hear democracy is in danger! Also, it'd be foolhardy for those blaming PBAT & APC for the views expressed by Dr. Umar Ardo (a known Atiku supporter) about the NDC except if what these "experts" in blaming everyone else but themselves for their woes are trying to say is that Peter Obi & Kwankwaso's move from the ADC to NDC (allegedly) was already in the works before now and was leaked to the President otherwise, NDC didn't even become an option for the serial defector until yesterday, Friday. And if the latter were the case, it shows the lack of sincerity on Obi's part if he has been mulling another defection all this while yet pretending to be a part of the coalition movement led by ADC. |
Wait, NDC doesn't have a national secretariat yet? Why are they usually converging on a location that looks like Sen. Seriake Dickson's residence? For a party that's about to play in the big league, this shouldn't be so abeg! Anyways, I trust the incoming OK Movement to take over the structure and upgrade the operations from a one-man show that is, Seriake Dickson. |
Lol... The good thing about PBAT is he's usually underrated by his opponents and maybe rightly so but this move to NDC only serves two agendas: 1. A PBAT return or 2. An Atiku victory. Either ways, it won't be OK! Elections in our recent political history have proven that you don't really need to win or do well in any state in the East (one late President famously compared the strength of votes there in the overall scheme of things as a "dot" to become President and currently, only two men have the capacity to pull numbers in the Southwest, Southsouth, Northeast, Northwest and North-central and those two are Tinubu and Atiku. If this unsettles you, feel free to 😭 all over my mentions but I will just ignore you! |
Hon. Seriake Dickson about to seriously cashout from his sole proprietorship of the NDC. |
Walahi! Your mouth no good 🤣 laughed so hard, I almost fell off my chair. MartinCorridon: |
LMAO. Though it didn't say it directly due to diplomacy, it's evident from this travel advisory that the U.S regards only the Southwest as the most peaceful & secured region of the country. Meanwhile, when you throw a stone in a market place be careful because you never can tell, it may just land on your mother's head! |
Some of the statements credited to Chief Bode George in this report are quite heavy; hitting below the belt. If indeed he made those comments, then, he must've had it in for Bukola Saraki for a very long time and only just seized the moment to pour out the things he has kept in the cooler. |
LOL. I can see some fellows threatening fire & brimstone when they should've directed their anger at H.E Alh. Atiku Abubakar, Sen. David Mark, Ogbeni Rauf Aregbesola and co. for failing to do due diligence on the SPV of a party (ADC) that they went to hijack! From the get-go, the adoption of ADC as the coalition's vehicle to send the abysmally performing APC packing from Aso Rock was an accident just waiting to happen! Only an ignoramus would claim ignorance of the crisis in ADC as at when Ralph Nwosu "sold" the party to Atiku and his group. They could've easily adopted another mushroom political party or even form theirs as Sen. Seriake Dickson did with NDC but no, they just had to shoot themselves in the foot and then turn around to blame Tinubu. For the benefit of doubt, if the case goes against Atiku & co., the best they can do is negotiate with the victorious faction to allow them still use the ADC or find another crisis-free political party. But to say elections won't hold or that the heavens will fall? That's wishful thinking. Worse case scenario, Tinubu becomes the last President of a "unified" Nigeria (after all, isn't that what some of you have secretly and even openly wished for?) while the others can only rue what could've been; heads or tails, Atiku, Peter Obi, Rotimi Amaechi, Kwankwaso & any other interested aspirant for the Presidency will never get to be President while the person they sought to displace would go down in history as the "last President" of Nigeria (even if ignominiously). |
Abel7777:Lol. These charges are ludicrous. If after detaining him for weeks this is all the ICPC can come up with as allegations, then they're not serious; any good lawyer worth their salt will get all these charges quashed before an uncompromised judge. |
In other words, VDM is simply asserting that PBAT will win the next presidential elections. |
Tanko actually believes that Obi will be a flag bearer in next year's general elections; someone who's (allegedly) already settled for the position of running mate to Alh. Atiku Abubakar in ADC. Meanwhile, the only ticket that has a very high chance of stopping the rampaging APC is an Atiku-Obi ticket but Obidients won't accept this reality. mohbadliveson: |
When the outcome of the elections next year are announced, Tunde Ednut will be among the first to cry.... PBAT suffered worse humiliation than this in 2023 yet he beat his opponents via the ballot and in the courts. |
It always amuses me every time I see people who are very good at criticizing others [but] can't take one tenth of their own bs from other people. |
Lol. We'll sooner than later hear how much Wike gave Makinde for that road that was named after him. No be Wike? |
Lol. Babachir "Grasscutter" Lawal & Abdulaziz Nyako thought the grass was greener on the other (ADC) side of the political landscape. Their eyes don dey clear small small... |
That's your right! There are some much more who don't need food cartons or any other incentive to vote for him; that's also their right. live & let live! |
And this is news? Only a political neophyte believes PBAT became President without then PMB's imprimatur. The singular act of displaying his ballot paper - after he casted his votes at the last general elections - showing he thumb printed APC, went a long way in swaying northern voters to vote for Tinubu because at the time, there were rumors he wasn't in support of his party's candidate. |
Lol. Is it your sleep? If he sees the "true color of human beings" would that be his first time of seeing it? Why is egbon Bob Dee crying more than the bereaved? He seems particularly more concerned about what Tinubu will experience or pass through than what his party (ADC) & his preferred aspirant (H.E Atiku Abubakar) will pass through. |
This looks like a set up; someone took advantage of the old man's age and naivety and loaded him with 11kg of "coke" with hopes that he wouldn't be scrutinized or suspected of being a drug mule. |
Lol. Election result announced in court? INEC declares election results and if they announce the incumbent as winner, there's no court in the land that will state otherwise. Likewise, let's even take the "prophecy" at face value that Obi scores 70% of valid votes cast and INEC declares him winner, again, there's no court in the land that will invalidate his votes should the "loser" in this case PBAT & APC, go to court. Meanwhile, the Prophet no even rate Atiku at all. |
to become President and currently, only two men have the capacity to pull numbers in the Southwest, Southsouth, Northeast, Northwest and North-central and those two are Tinubu and Atiku.
