Is anybody else getting charged 500naira by nipost for each item sent to them by speedaf? They claim it’s cos of speedaf, is there any way to stop speedaf from handing over NG….E items to nipost but to rather do a home delivery and we pay them?

I guess NIPOST is deliberately using this tactics of delay in delivery to frustrate speedaf and AliExpress. AliExpress switching to speedaf for their standard shipping delivery is a BIG LOSS to NIPOST and NIPOST is only fighting back with this tactics. But we are the one suffering this.

I got a response from one confused adekunle saying my items are not trackable on NIPOST website. So which international items are trackable on their website? NIPOST is a disgrace, 70 yrs old man!!!

AliExpress standard shipping and Singapore post are the affordable fastest (less than 21 days) and trackable shipping method. Others are slow and untrackable shopping apart from the expensive DHL,EMS, FedEx and ups

Speedaf deliver my items with TN that ends with R to my door step but deliver the ones with TN that ends with E to Shomolu NIPOST in Lagos. The delivery address on all my items is my house address in Port Harcourt. Why is this so?

For the past 2-3 months now, Iv not gotten my items delivered to NIPOST while the ones delivered directly to me by speedaf got to me in less than 21 days.

Please who has the contact numbers of Shomolu Post Office as tracking international item on NIPOST Website is to no avail. NIPOST is really getting worse day by day in this country. None of the six customer lines on their website is going through. They don't respond to email either like speedaf.

Please anyone with Shomolu post office contact number or contact number of any employee working there? This gesture will be highly appreciated. U can private message me on Nairaland or my email address: ayolacz@gmail.com.

Please how does someone purchase an item worth more than 20 dollars on AliExpress due to CBN policy of maximum 20 dollars international purchase through Naira credit card monthly? AliExpress does not use PayPal. What's the way out of this palava o?

Hello guys, where can I buy Xiaomi redmi phones in port Harcourt? I actually need redmi note 9S (6gb/128gb).

Thanx to all that contributed to profer solutions to my AC issue. I'm delighted that I finally solved this issue by bleeding off the refrigerant and vacuuming my AC system of air and moisture.

I pulled a vacuum on the AC system for 30 mins after bleeding off the entire refrigerant. I put in new refrigerant without adding oil (technician tested my AC system for lubrication and certified oil level ok). So I did a test run for two days now and my AC system is performing exclently. No more epileptic cooling.

Compressor no more delays to kick in. It kicks in immediately after switching on the AC button and cold air starts blowing immediately. Compressor is now performing the way it should.

Lesson learnt:

Foreign substances like air, moisture, dirt e.t.c can go a long way in causing a clutchless AC compressor to malfunction and if preventive maintenance is not carried out in time, it may cause serious damage to the compressor as this compressor is super sensitive to foreign substances in an AC system.

I'm happy that I took this step on time before serious damage to my AC system components. Gracias to you all!

There are too many quack AC technicians all around town across Nigeria. My 2011 Toyota Corolla was working perfectly well until I had a bursted high pressure discharge hose, probably expired.

I began to experience one problem after the other with my car AC system after I took my car to one AC technician in port Harcourt.

Since I had to recharge my AC system after replacing a bursted high pressure discharge hose. I asked the AC technician to vacuum my AC system before recharging but he said there was no need. So the AC technician never vacuum my AC system before filling the system with new refrigerant and oil

The following day after this AC refilling, my AC that usually kicks in immediately to blow cold air began to delay for like 30-45 secs before blowing cold air.

As time goes on, this graduate to AC not blowing cold air until I put off and on the AC switch button.

Furthermore, as time goes on, the AC no more respond to putting off and on the AC switch button. So now until I rev up the engine by pressing the acceleration pedal in neutral or park, the AC never blows cold in idle.

I guess this technician had probably put too much oil or any other oil different from the existing oil in my AC system, causing the compressor to perform poorly. How do I know if there's an excess oil in my compressor?

Also, no doubt about having air moisture in my AC system as the poor technician never pulled a vacuum on my AC system before a recharge.

Please guys where can I find a good AC technician with a vacuum pump in port Harcourt as most of all these road side AC technicians are only there to suck out our hard earned pepper...?

Please I need your candid opinion also help too, my Toyota Corolla 09, the AC gets cold very early in the morning till like around 11am when the sun is up, then once the sun gets really hot around that time, the AC kinda only blows air and little ac, especially when am in traffic, then evening from 7pm when the sun has gone down the AC gets really cold again that I ve to reduce it to the lowest. My ac guy is now telling me to buy a new compressor. Please help a brother before this guy kill me.

All Cosmote TV came out with good signal on 9e, except M7 from 12074V. That M7 is where I love to have cos of Bundesliga.

Suspecting, the 4 meter dish I'm using. It's seems to have had a severe impact and not properly repaired.

On Hotbird 13, over 1200 channels came out.

Also, the kind of Decoder I'm using, drops signal a lot.

I don't want to mention the name of that decoder.

If it were to be strong decoder, maybe, it would have been better.

Also, for you to do proper dish alignment, some signal quality would be lost, compared to stationery dish that's in one position.

Motorized dish can never have perfect alignment.

12130, 12245, 12332, 12360 and 12437 are the ones that didn't show.

Well-done and good job. By the way, are these 1200 channels on hotbird free to air or cccam opened?

The jack is to motorize the dish and 'jack' it from East to west

The is the biggest Jack in Nigeria at 36*36 inches and can watch all satellites from 68.5° east to 68.5° west (180° turn)
