Hmmm...I'm beginning to sense bad development in AliExpress. Items are getting lost these days in china. About 3 of my items are missing and no more receiving tracking updates. The logistics company handling AliExpress orders especially expensive ones seem to be compromising. Buyers beware, always track your order for updates to always know the whereabouts of your order. You can always open dispute on any suspected order...thieves don join AliExpress shipping company, I guess

No..still in china but tracking is no more updating..other items I placed order for the same day have been delivered

On the 13th of June, 2023, my item tracking update shows "order shipped from the warehouse" but since then no change in the tracking update for almost 3 weeks now. This item is sent by aliexpress standard shipping method. Pls anyone else experiencing this same thing.

Learn to read carefully next time…. I only said it’s not necessary for newly installed AC unit because some AC units sold are already precharged (Except if it has been tampered) and doesn’t require vacuuming the unit. Only an AC technician can advise you on this, do not go forming ITK for your new unit to be vacuum before installation.

I bought a brand new inverter AC unit three years ago and it was not vacuumed when it was installed and it is working perfectly till date.

So what can you make of that?

Now I know your problem. Your problem is that you don't actually know the purpose of vacuum in an AC system. AC Vacuum is not to remove the refrigerant inside the AC but the air which contains moisture from the AC. Air moisture reduces the life span of your evaporator and condenser coil because rust takes place in the presence of air moisture. Your AC will work but the life span is compromised already by not removing air moisture from the AC system. You can Google this fact to be sure

This is a newly bought 1 hp Panasonic normal AC made in Malaysia. Yet to be installed though. From the power rating, it shows Panasonic normal AC are not economical in terms of power. Anybody using 1 hp hisense normal AC should please state it's power rating for comparison with Panasonic power consumption.

You are correct about the big pipe being return which was an error on my part. As for the both pipes being cold, for some unit, one is usually colder than the other which is the point i was referring to.

Big pipe is cold and sweating while the small pipe is barely cold or warm

My hisense 1.5 hp has ice around the knot connecting the bigger pipe to the outdoor unit. Told the technician, said it's working fine. The air conditioner cools my room down too. Is that normal though?

They don't have a name when it comes to air-conditioning. There are brands that once you mention, you know what to expect from them. It's just like saying buying Hisense TV as against Samsung or Sony or even LG. Hisense doesn't measure up in this case in the aspect of quality.

Please does hisense use copper condenser and evaporator coil for their non inverter AC?

I understand your fear, and your friend is right.... It is necessary to vacuum an air conditioner but not really mandatory for a new unit, But it's compulsory if the unit has been worked on (Compressor)

I've done lot of vacuuming onboard our ship (Our air conditioning system doesn work like our conventional AC and requires pamper and lot of preventive maintenance lol)... Believe me, if you don't vaccum the system, it's gonna mess up the unit and HVAC on ships cost a fortune.

Even new units need to be vacuumed because you need to remove the air trapped in the copper pipes

Go for new AC bro...I bought used LG AC..chilled for only 2 months before I noticed it's no more chilling due to gas leakage... we're still finding where the leakage is

Hello guys, which button combination will I press to enable this decoder boot from my flash.
It a sunplus flagship receiver tho.

I brick the decoder during upgrade, but I had a backup file b4 the upgrade.
I'm trying to restore store it.

Have remain file to rom.bin , flashfile.bin.

So I don't know if there's a button combination to enable it enter boot from flash

Check if the factory firmware of the receiver is on the internet...that's the only way out. Put the firmware in the flash and insert the flash into the receiver while it's off. Power up the receiver, the receiver should automatically load and install the factory firmware

Please someone should help me with sltv (metro) frequency and symbol rate.
