Romance › Re: My Problem With Most Nigerian Men by ayobase(m): 2:27pm On Jun 20, 2012
Amya: It's only a typical Naija guy that would see a babe and start confessing instant love. They may be in a serious relationship, but it doesn't stop them from proposing to random stranger, all just to get punny. Seriously!

Most of them claim they are unattached even when they are. This is a funny trend picked up by people you'd think are even more reasonable. Even married men are not spared. In the last year, 2 married men professed undying love to a cousin. They even brought the whole marriage ''THINGUMAJIG'' into the mix! All for punny!!!

You're in a relationship and just want to have a fling? JUST SAY IT! They are lots of openminded girls that are not necessarily looking for a commited relationship. They may not even mind, plus the honestly is definitely a PLUS.

For all those who try to get punny, after then what? You just move on?

You're definitely complicating your life more and more.
SIMPLE!
Romance › Re: Pls Help I Am Caught In Between by ayobase(m): 2:09pm On Jun 20, 2012
charlesfreeman0: I am 29yrs old, a 9ja man but not living in 9ja, I am good looking, smart, romantic or let’s say a gentleman, I comfortable with a good job I would say. I save at least three thousand naira cash equivalent every month after all my monthly expenses.
I have always wanted to marry a Nigerian but have not been lucky to meet the right one for me in the country I live.
I visited 9ja some months ago and stayed for about two months, one of my reasons for visiting my beloved country was to hopefully hook up with som1, unfortunately I wasn’t lucky to meet som1 I feel would be compatible until my last week of visit. I meet this pretty, smart, elegant lady with a strong sense of humour n lovely, she caught my eyes and I was lucky to go out for a date with her, we talked and she told me she has a boyfriend. well, I also told I her my intentions, that I really don’t need anything from her but to get married to her if she gives me the chance, though it’s crazy because we hardly know each other, I feel so bad, I don’t live in 9ja n I don’t have enough time to prove myself and let her know me beta, I guess she doesn’t have that mutual feelings for now.
People, I just believed she is the perfect match for me, beside we all don’t end up getting married to the people we ones dated so why give up because she said she has a boyfriend? She is a very pretty lady and that she knows, she is 23yrs old and a final year student of a university in 9ja.
I have been trying to make things work but to no avail, she is just not helping out, she has changed her phone numbers I guess, though she told me her phone got lost but she does use a mobile phone to reply my messages on Facebook. She still reminds me of her boyfriend, am not sure if he really wants to marry her, because to me I won’t waste a day if she says yes to me.
I am just confused, I don’t know if I should continue bordering her or let go? I am not getting any younger and I don’t want to settle for less in terms of marriage. I have planned visiting 9ja ones in a year or twice until I get married. Now I know finding a wife is not an easy task.
What do you guys’ advice on how to get this babe? Or should I let go, even though I love her this much?
Back off!
She changed her number and she tells u about bf often!
Back off!
Dont waste ur time!
Back off!
Dont waste more yrs, she is hooked.
Back off!
U can try another, but not that girl.
Back off!
What gave u the assurance that she will say ''yes'' eventually?
Back off!
Let it play out itself, if really interested in her, u shld still be in contact, but not on the level of marriage...she might be scared cos u sounded desperate..I understood u though....
Romance › Re: When Your Partner Has A Crush On A Celebrity by ayobase(m): 2:00pm On Jun 20, 2012
acidtalk: How frustrating could it be when your partner start having a crush (obsession) in a celebrity. Not necessarily to date them or sleep with them, but just kind of go crazy when they see them at shows, tv, billboards or even hear their voice on the radio. Do you get jealous or just wave it aside as one of those things.

It could be a man going crazy for beyonce and fantasizing on a night out with her, or a lady day dreaming of having 2face in her arms.

My story : My sister used to go practically gaga when ever she saw or heard 2face's voice. She will scream and hold herself tight like he was hugging her. I used to get jealous and pissed (note my sister NOT girlfriend). But somewhere along the line I couldn't help but also started liking his music as she always bought his album and forced me to copy the tracks on my desktop and laptop so she can listen to him.

Funny enough, my ex girlfriend always 'sneaked' to freak out when she sees 2face but hid it until I openly told her how much my sister loved him and I like his songs.

Today 2baba is my biggest and most loved Nigerian Artiste just because those two special women in my life loved him.

Let's share experiences on our partners having crush on a celebrity.

Christianity Etc › Re: Abomination, cal It Taboos.can God Still Wipeoff The Curses Associated With This? by ayobase(m): 1:55pm On Jun 20, 2012
fumisko: ok this sounds a bit weird but its very true and i know God loves us and is willing to forgive our sins. but people also say after we are forgiven we would still bear the punishment for our wrong doings.at least God forgave the Israelites over and over again but the had to sometimes suffer for their actions even after.
ok so much happened to my close friend when she was small.and its like she forgot it all but this happenings came rolling over her mind again and shes been feeling so down though shes a believer now.she said she committed this stuff between age 6-7. she had this aunt who was into porn and she wasn't stopped from watching it and with time she thought to practice them.she knew somehow it was wrong stuff but then she said it just still happened. her male cousin also about 7years was the only one around they would go inside and do the same stuff they saw over and over again.incest.when he left she and her sister began the same act,her sister was about 9 and they would explore their bodies and touch each other and do stuff.incest and lesbianism. then when she thought there was no male around, according to her, they had a male dog then and she did go out and would try joining its stuff to hers and ride on it and all that.then it led to masturbation by the time she was 9years.now shes born again but now that she remembered this events again from where it was locked up in her memories, shes wondering if she can escape the curses associated with the action and if she can be called a virgin again cause she always boasts about wanting to keep herself for her husband and stuff.what do you think she should do? am lust on what to tell her to stop her tears.
I will assume I bought this story!
She should simply stop tormenting herself of what she is been forgiven of.
Devil is only trying to torment her...though hard to forget, likewise shld let the pass go and face what are ahead, and besides she was very young then....she was just being inquisitive!
God has forgiven, forgive yourself!
When I read claims like these, one thing immediately pops out. I find it hard to believe that not everyone can pick this out. I guess the religionists have blinded their minds to common logic

why would heaven have similar things like we do?? why don't they dream of something we've never heard before so we know it was really divine and supernatural.

paper, pencils, grounds tearing open, etc....

All fcking made up!!!!!!!!! angry
Earth is regarded as the image of Heaven.....SIMPLE!

KINGwax: The saying dt one travels wit plane full of snakes is not because d ride is not pleasurable. It simply means no logical form of escape. If it's a car, u can alwys slam d brakes and jump off, but in a plane, u either get killed, jump and die, or pray to survive d trip...as much as it fits wit your write up, your explanation for it is not.
