Family / Re: My Friend Needs Help, Six Children No Male Child? by ayobase(m): 8:57am On May 17, 2022
Notyourtype:
Hello Guys,

Is it even possible to have up to six kids without having a male child?

I have a friend, who wanted to have only 4 kids. He's now counting six and will count more because he has refused to have a male child.

When the wife gave birth to the fifth child, then my friend was very anxious to having a male child. But as soon as the news got to him that his wife gave birth to another female child, he send a message to his wife at the hospital not to come to his house with the child. He said his wife has a curse on her, that is why she refused to give birth to a male child. We had to beg him before he allowed his wife home.

The issure now is that his wife just gave birth to the sixth child again today, and another female child. He his just very confused right now.

He just told me now that people says the fault his not from her wife but rather on his side. And he want me to help him on what the problem is.

Pls nlanders, what do you think is the problem, and how can he give birth to a male child?

Mail me please.

However, give me your friend's ages when she gave birth to the six girls.

Sorry for your trouble, OP.

But then this is still a side of the story, if only IBEDC or Mr. Also could give his version of the story.

You can also escalate this on the various radio programs in the town, I'm not sure they'll respond quickly.

As for the cables, I understand they become properties of the power company once they're connected to the network, even the transformer the communities gather money buy.
Some things have to be revisited.

Escalating when he is at fault or not will only cause more issue for him.

He should escalate ONLY via NERC and copy other institutions.

The excuse from IBEDC will be that he is not worthy of being their customer, thus the reason he was disconnected. Besides, he is not billed for darkness.

He needs the light more. Let him go to the office and meet the Oga one-on-one for quick resolve. Phone calls won't be enough.
Politics / Re: IBEDC Staff In Abeokuta Steals Power Cables, Threatens To Beat Up Customer by ayobase(m): 2:27pm On Jun 17, 2021
Tabithatim:
...Now we are aware that the Lagos state high court has declared that it is illegal for any power company to hold the landlord or new tenants responsible for bills accrued by old tenants.

Did you take any legal action against IBEDC over the accrued bills?

Tabithatim:
...In 2008, we applied for pre-paid meters for all the flats but it was not given and we continued to disturb them but we have not been successful...

It was successful eventually. Did you disturb them until the meters were scheduled and installed.

How many meters did you apply for and how many did they install?

Tabithatim:
...This February, IBEDC officials finally brought meters for the whole house and we were glad. They also authorized the reconnection as this was done in front of them and they tested and reconnected the meters to see that it was functioning properly...

Meter installers are not always staff of the company, but sent from the meter company to install meters for customers based on request from the company, and the installation is to be supervised by Metering Engineer.

An installer has no right to reconnect a customer disconnected by the company just because he wants to install meter.

As a Metering Engineer, I always warn every installer never to meter any customer under disconnection.

Tabithatim:

My questions are that
1. Does IBEDC have the right to seize cables they did not buy?

Yes, whatever is connected to the grid becomes the property of the company because customers will not be sanctioned if there is an accident caused by the cable.

Imagine if the cable you bought snapped and caused a fatal accident, you the owner who bought it will never be sanctioned but IBEDC.

From the transformer to the pole to the meter is IBEDC's responsibility, but after the meter to your house is your responsibility via LECAN.

Tabithatim:

2. Does IBEDC officials have the right to disconnect power supply of people who are using prepaid meters

Yes, either by energy theft, wrong Installation of meter or bridge of SOP.

.....…............................

Above all, I want to believe there is a long term friction between you and the staff involved for this to be happening now.

Did the installer give you any signed document
(either pink or yellow) backing the meters installation?

I treated and resolved almost similar case today.

You can WhatsApp me on 08069589131 for quick response.

But, please kindly answer my questions first.

Happy new year dear.

I would have spanked the idea of not frequenting nairaland years ago.

Nevertheless, it wasn't my marriage or kids, but my work.

I really missed the good old days on here.
I wish I can brace up.

I will endeavour to always come on board once in a while.

Dont8, I hope you still have my digits.

Rocktation:

The latest Big Boy in townnn, congrats and thank God for your life. Have you arrived at the villa, safely? Cos I know that your people don't joke with travelling to the villa for Christmas. Unless of cos, you never left in the first place, which would be great in this era of skyrocketed price of fuel, rates of accidents and what not. I'm also in asaba presently (which is not my villa anyways, but closer to home) and if na say one thing no do another, I for vex, cook that rice for you on Christmas day.

Sorry about loved ones who left for a better place and thank God again for your achievements. Got an early Christmas gift myself, in the form of an answered prayer; a very dear one won the ticket for a local government chairmanship position! Yay! The gbedu has refused to end.....

Right now, I'm really just wondering why Mynd would not celebrate Christmas.. Is it a domination thingy or the context of situation he found himself? Perhaps, you'd asked him for lunch as you did me and that was his own bolting strategy...

Dont8 true true, where art thou? You guys had my time wella before and indeed, spiced this quiet place up. Come back and do it again... in the spirit of the season and camaraderie of cos..

Idk whether Ayobase's wife traded off her yes to marriage for his phone, as he became very anti-nairaland immediately he got married and started having kids...

Back to you again Crazy, thank you for always being there, nairalandly. For always following, liking, sharing whatever you read from me...

You must indeed be a loyal somebody, because you'd said you'd always stop by, years ago...and yeah, here you really still are. Continue being good if you really are and strive to be...just incase you are not. If for nothing, to catch an equally correct woman to marry, if that is a priority, because I believe that the vibes you exude, attract a group that would be ready to pitch in and amplify them. I don't care if anybody else thinks differently.

I wish you, myself and all good people better experiences in the coming year and beyond.

THis is the most sincere advice u can get if u could not click on the link on gopro afrcica.
1. AS LONG AS NIGERIA IS CONCERNED DO NOT JOIN ANY COMPANY THAT DEALS ON PRODUCT IN THE MULTI-LEVEL INDUSTRY.
This is a very wrong time to start an mlm business on product because, their prices have all gone up bcus of the naira devaluation over the dollar, and the registration fee, product prices are now too high.

2. The stronghold of the MLM industry have drifted away from the wellness industry because the wellness industry is basically on health SUPPLEMENTS(A supplement is defined as a make up for deficiency or extra added part). An increasing number of persons are finding it difficult to meet up with the core meals they should take daily, so why will they need the extra. The future of the wellness industry lies in individuals who will willingly order for the food supplements with or without a business attached to it.

3. The sad news is that a large number of non-product mlm companies in NIgeria are PONZI schemes.

4. Someone said u should put in your money in MMM. Now i always try to avoid controversial topics like that of MMM but i will like to say this to everyone about MMM.
MMM is cool, good and u can put ur money in it and make a thousand ROI which is wonderful as long as u can take the risk and knw when to jump out before it crashes. BUT
a. Ponzi schemes like MMM makes you UNPRODUCTIVE and NON-RESOURCEFUL/USELESS
b. Any income gotten from PONZI or SCHEMES of such MUST SHRINK BACK YOUR SIZE. Let me explain this a little, because the company makes you unproductive, non-resourceful and useless, thus you dont increase in capacity. If you are a N50000 and you HIT N500000 from MMM, the money will SHRINK back to your size it is just a matter of time. You should be more concerned about building capacity along side making money.

5. Trying to make this as short as possible. The next point here is INTEGRITY. IF u cherist integrity in business i wont advice you to join MMM. Why?
Now look at this shocking statistics, IF u join MMM today and get 50people to join you and also invest, this people are joining you bcus they have an aorta of trust in your business sense just enough to make them drop their money. Now when something goes wrong with MMM(which is definite) and lets say something real and nice and even better opportunity comes up, and you go back to talk to the 50 of them about it, the statistics says them an average of only 10 will or may join you in the new opportunity. THE REMAINING 40 PEOPLE HAVE LOST TRUST IN YOUR BUSINESS SENSE. so if u still want to stay in the business world you should be careful about the company you join because its all about people.
This is why, no matter how sweet you explain the business of network marketing to most PASTORS and PRIEST who have been thru this, they always say NO to anything network marketing on their pulpit bcus when something goes wrong people loose trust in not just their business sense but their spiritual decision ability and efficacy. They begin to say "And it was PASTOR JOHN that told us to join them oh< Are you even sure he is a true pastor sef misleading us to join this company that as folded up, or disspapeared with our money"

I hope this helps you or someone else going through this.

Religion / Re: A Deeper Life Woman End Up In Hell For Using A Rubber Thread by ayobase(m): 7:01pm On Mar 23, 2018
highyo:
Jesus said to me, do you know you are leading many to hell? I asked him how, and he said whenever people asking you about how they shoul keep their hair, you keep telling them not to use wool or attachment, but they can make use of plastic thread. Don't you know that rubber thread is also an attachment?
Then he ask me to follow him to hell that he want to show me something, on getting there, he brought out a woman out of the pit of fire, and he. Said to me son look at this woman, she is a member of Deeperlife bible church. She heard that it is a sin for a woman to plait her hair with any thread, but she didn't believe it. When she died, she was found guilty of using thread to plait, and as a result of tht she went to hell. When I look at this woman, she plaited her hair with plastic thread. The woman was pleading for forgiveness but it was no granted to her, but was sent back to hell
However I asked Jesus why he didn't forgive the woman, he said to me, the woman was given several warning, trough revelation, people but she refused instead she took her self to be perfect in all her deed. Assuming she has taken correction, she would have saved many, because she was a model to many, but she has led many to hell, so she must go back to hell

Jesus said to me, no woman should plait their head with any type of thread
No woman should add anything whatsoever to her hair
I never asked them to use those things, human being did
Tell women to keep their head natural, they must not apply any die, relaxer to it and must not be weave
They should comb it alone
Tell them to remove their wedding ring because it's not I who ask them to use it but human did
I hate both wedding ring and other ring.
Tell my people not to put on any type of jeans cloth, wether skirt, trousers, shirts or blouses or nicker. I hate it
Tell women no part of their breast should be seen.
They must cover their body very well and also their back should not be seen.
They must not wear any skin tight or short nicker under their skirt because I hate those thing
Just pant and under wears.
Women should not wear brassiere that will make the nipple of breast to be noticed, because if they do and man became seduced by it, the person has committed sin without knowing it.
Also women must not put on any cloth that will make line of their pants to be noticed

...as for nigerlites not wanting to pay for electricity, i don't quite agree because most homes these days use prepaid electricity meters and for the homes that don't pay, it is the corrupt officials of the same AEDC that help them not pay correct bills and still remain connected.

Just about 20 percent is on prepaid meter in Niger State, and with bypassing here and there.

The whole of Tunga is only about 36% metered, and about 90% Shiroro (Tundun Wada) metered.

Many indigenous locations (Barkin Sale, Chanchaga...) in Minna are fighting hard against prepaid meter. Most don't pay bills and they fight officials when they come for disconnection.

Yes, thr company has corrupt officials who have been sabotaging the efforts of the company, but many have been sacked and some under observation.

good! i love your submission....however, i still think it's grossly unfair. while i'm not suggesting that minna and abuja should enjoy equal hours of electricity for obvious reasons, it's not asking too much to give minna and environs at least 15 to 18 hours of electricity daily considering that in nigeria, niger state contributes immensely to the national grid. all the hydro-electric dams (4: 1 is under construction) are in niger state. as for nigerlites not wanting to pay for electricity, i don't quite agree because most homes these days use prepaid electricity meters and for the homes that don't pay, it is the corrupt officials of the same AEDC that help them not pay correct bills and still remain connected.

I work in power sector, and it will be unnecessarily unfair making excuses in favour of these companies.

All the Dams in Niger State today are privatized.

Kainji Dam is being managed by Niger State Governor's father.

I also heard that Shiroro Dam is under the management of Abdusallam and Babangida.

These Generating Stations are being paid for services rendered.

Also, the total generated power in a day is never enough to supply every household at a time. And AEDC is entitled to 11% of about 200MW which only Abuja will consume without being enough.

The schedule of operation is to share this energy among four states, Abuja, Niger, Nasarawa, and Kogi, but mostly shared among 3 states minus some parts of Abuja.

When Niger State is on potential, Kogi and Nasarawa and some parts of Abuja are always out.

Kogi, Nasarawa and some parts of Abuja are to share 14hrs of supply a day with Niger State making use of 10hrs daily.

In all fainess, AEDC has been fair to Niger State.

If Nigerlites desire more supply, then they should approach these Generating Stations for dialogue.

I repeat again, AEDC is the useless, the most insensitive and the most nonsensical EDC in Nigeria! I was in Abuja for 5days and not once was there a power outage where I stayed...not even for 5minutes...yet the same AEDC that serves Abuja well punishes Minna and other towns in Niger state for no reasonable reason.

Ask yourself.

why should they deny Minna supply, while Abuja enjoys supply?

it is business strategy. You simply supply where you get paid.

I also live in Abuja and Minna.

Nigerlites find it difficult in paying bills.

Besides, what are the elders in Minnq doing to intervene?
