Check www.bravofly.com. it compares flight fares across airlines. Also, it highlights flight days with the cheapest fares across airlines.

I just started researching myself, so I don't have much information at the moment. check the links on page 0 for PNP, go to the different provinces and read on what's needed. I am awaiting my IELTS test results so that I can start agressively pursuing this route. Hope this helps and please, grin keep me informed on any updates.

UPDATE: stealth02 just became an answer to prayers..he has summarised the whole PNP process in an easy understandable format. May GOD bless him deeply!back to the drawing board.

Thanks mamacajah. Doing the same o. researching on the PNP route too while preparing with wifey for the IELTS. We plan taking our exams by January by God's Grace.

There appears to be a dearth of information surrounding PNPs and just as @codew0rks mentioned previous attempts at creating a PNP thread was shut down. Notwithstanding some members on this thread got their PPRs through provincial programs. Here's a link to some useful information about PNPs culled from Part 1 thread

https://www.nairaland.com/2624318/canadian-express-entry-federal-skilled/144#47208212

I felt I should give an overview and summary application costs for PNPs that DON'T require a job offer. However most of them have target occupation lists but generally in the NOC 0, A or B categories similar to the Federal requirement

- SK $300 (Saskatchewan has an In-Demand Occupation list)
- NB $250 (New Brunswick is currently targeting occupations in IT AND applicants must show connections to NB by attending an information session or studied in NB)
- PE $300 (Prince Edward Island has no specific target occupation list)
- MB $500 (Manitoba Skilled Workers Overseas have no specific target occupation list BUT applicants must show social ties - have family, friend or studied in Manitoba or attended an information session)
- ON $1500 (Ontario EE Human Capital Priority Stream has no target occupation list but applicant must have CRS of 400 or more to be invited)
-NS No application fees (Nova Scotia Demand EE Stream- Category 2 has a target occupation list)

Also be aware that some of the various programs are selective about certain ECA assessments that they accept. In addition to sending your ECA to IRCC you will also be required to inform your assessing body to send a copy of your assessment directly to the PNP program once you receive their ITA/NOI otherwise this may delay your application for provincial nomination

- SK/PE/MB/ON/NS accept all IRCC designated ECAs (CES,ICAS,WES,IQAS,ICES,MCC,PEBC)
- NB accepts only CES, ICAS, WES, MCC and PEBC

The current processing time for PNPs on the CIC website is stated as 6 months(same as FSW). However there's no hard and fast rule for how long it takes to receive a provincial nomination once you submit your Expression of Interest - obviously this would vary from one province to another.

Note that the various programs have different PoF requirements some even lower than CIC's but applicants would ultimately be required to show funds that comply with the Federal scheme when submitting to CIC for their PPRs.

Generally, PNPs have a residency requirement that the applicant intends to live and work in that particular province. However it's still being argued that the 2 years residency is not mandatory. Take NB for example which requires applicants to sign form NBNP006 'Declaration of Commitment to New Brunswick' but doesn't clearly specify how long you are required to live in NB after showing yourself to the NBNP program officer within 30 days of your arrival in Canada.

Section 6(2) of the Canadian Charter of Rights and Freedoms states that a Canadian Permanent Resident can move anywhere within the country.

Section 6(2)
Every citizen of Canada and every person who has the status of a permanent resident of Canada has the right:
a) to move to and take up residence in any province; and
b) to pursue the gaining of a livelihood in any province.

Hopefully more information would become available in coming posts to help intending applicants successfully navigate the PNP process as in the case of FSW.

Best wishes
Thanks so much stealth02 for this detailed information. Pls, if i may ask, are you on the PNP route. Did some research yesterday and we are considering prince edward island programme. Did a mock assessment and it seems this will be an alternative for us. I will appreciate if you can give us more information anytime you have them. Attached is the PEI asssessment form for anybody that might want to give it a trial.

PEI (Prince Edward Island) is also another province in Canada.
Just Google Nova Scotia PNP or PEI PNP or New Brunswick PNP and read up on their eligibility requirements. Job offers are not compulsory for those 3 but only certain occupations qualify.
Thanks mamacajah

This sounds promising..NB requires job offer like BC, NS looks okay, but one needs to get the documents together on time as our Indian brothers tend to submit quickly there as well as they do in SASK. PEI is another one to look at. Morden in Manitoba opend their pilot programme for specific trades persons this year...

cc:ayodeji2017.

Thanks mamacajah. Have you started the PNP process? what documents are needed for the Nova Scotia PNP? ALso what is PEI? sorry for my many questions but really considering this route. Thanks a lot.

@duntano @ bigbroda.
Pls I will appreciate if you can put us through this PNP route.
Probably open a thread for the PNP so that we don't derail the objective of this thread
Thanks.

If you want to follow PNP route. Pls consider NS and NB Provinces. They dont charge much for PNP processing. Canada needs more of IT guys and labourers.
Pls kindly give us more information on this if you have any. Thanks.

I concur. For some of this, due to age, no matter if we max out IELTS, we would just barely scale 400. Thus any useful information on PNPs will be appreciated. gracios.

You are very right sis. From simulating the CRS tool with average of 8 on ielts, I found out that once age is over 40yrs. The score is always between 390 an 400 no matter the level of education. Wifey has PhD and I have masters but our score still falls between 390 and 400 with ielts max.
I just hope our seniors or anybody that has experience in the PNP route will help guide us.

Also, does anybody in here has experience with visaplace.com? I did their online assessment for PNP or workpermit route to Canada yesterday and I was surprised to get a call from them from Canada about 1 hour later. Unfortunately the line went off (due to network) while the Lady on phone was asking me some questions like
do I or spouse have any criminal record?
Have we visited Canada before?
Line went off.
Just wondering if anybody in here has used or try using them before?
Thanks

I guess exploring PNP and getting a job only option now.
Just wondering if any of our seniors in the house that took the PNP route can start a thread on PNP for us that might want to consider that route.
Congrats to the latest PPRs.

Explore the pnp option. Go to page 0. It may take a bit longer than express entry but it works

Good morning all.

Thanks so much threadstone. Wife is not happy at all with the simulated crs score. Like you suggested, I've started reading the PNP option. It seems every province has their own unique requirement and application process.
Also learnt from reading through the PNP, the option of getting immigration lawyer in Canada to follow this PNP route. What do you think about this?

Finally,

1. is there any person in this forum that has followed the PNP route for immigration to Canada?

2. Is there any person here that has moved to Canada via the work permit option.?

I will appreciate as many advice that we can get.

Do have a great day everyone here and may all your dreams come true.

I can answer

1. They refer to work INSIDE Canada. There is still a section for work experience outside Canada. Keep scrolling thru the form/questionnaire

2. I really don't know. It's really based on their discretion.

Hope this helped

Thanks a lot. I got it now. it should be "none/less than a year for me and wifey then. with that our crs simulation score hovers around 390 -395 (assuming we score and average of 8/7.5 in IELTS). from previous rounds of minimum point for ITA being 436, Pls do you people still think we should go ahead with this canada stuff (Evaluation and preparing for IELTS) hoping that the minimum point for ITA might come lower.

Any other route/option for us. Once again, thank you all for your response.

Hello my people, pls I need an interpretation of the below question in crs tool.

6) Work Experience
i. In the last ten years, how many years of skilled work experience in Canada do you have?

1. Pls is it work experience 'INSIDE' Canada or 'OUTSIDE' Canada. I believe that it is work experience either INSIDE or OUTSIDE Canada but in a field under the NOC but someone is trying to confuse me saying it's work experience INSIDE Canada. Hence my coming to the house to confirm.

2. is it possible for WES to downgrade a PhD from U.I and a masters from U.I in their evaluation.

3. I and wifey plan including photocopies of our certificates with the transcript before the school officially send them to WES instead of us having to fax it later to WES. Hope no.implication to this.

@datatechman. Pls can I pm.you?

Regards to every member of this wonderful family. May all our dreams come true.
Pls I'm still expecting answers from member of the house on 1 and 2 above. I've gotten the answer for question 3 from one of the pages on this thread .Thanks everyone.

Are you sure you read from page 0?
Thanks datechman. I actually did read the pages. Im just confused because my masters is in personnel psychology which I've never use to work before but I know will give me extra marks than the HND but my more than tten years work experience has been with my HND and certifications. And my plan is to still continue in I.T when we eventually get to canada. That is why I'm seeking for opinion on which to evaluate with wes along with wife's PhD.
Also, I did a test evaluation with link you sent and score was 469 with wife as PA. Thanks so much for your time.I appreciate sir.
Congratulations to kontagious too on your PPR. May this be "contagious" to all of us at the end of it all.

You missed out one crucial information. Your wife's age. This will enable us to advise you appropriately.
However, here is a guidance.
1. Your wife's PhD and your Msc (Optional). You need only evaluate your highest qualifications.
2. PhD requires Confirmation of Doctoral Degree to be sent by institution while you send/fax the certificate to them. WES does not evaluate Microsoft/Cisco certificates.
3. It is advisable that the transcript be sent directly by the school. Certificates will be sent by you.
4. https://www.wes.org/ca/ You will get all the their postal address and other information after you register.

NB: For your ielts, both your wife and you should aim to score at least LRSW 8777. You can use this tool to determine what your CRS score would be. www.cic.gc.ca/english/immigrate/skilled/crs-tool.asp[/quote]
Thanks datechman and mamacajah too.
@datechman
1. Wife is 44yrs and I'm 46yrs . we have two children ages 14 and 12
2. Which do you suggest that I evaluate along with wife's PhD. My professional masters in personnel psychology which I've never used to work or my HND in computer science. I've been computer/ I. T guy all my working life and will like to continue in I.T when we get over there
Thanks guys.

hi house,

please we want to start our canada immigration process as a family with wife going to be the principal applicant. From reading through almost all the pages on this topic, weve decided to start with the WES and then do our ielts exam next. Please my questions are:

1. which documents will be most approriate to send for wes evaluation from the following or do we have to send all:

wife: PhD in education, Masters in education, B.Ed, NCE
me: Masters in Personnel Psychology, HND Computer science, OND, Microsoft certifications (MCSE, MCSA, MCP)

2. Is it only transcipts that is accepted by wes or we can send certificates too as there is no transcript for PhD and Microsoft certifications.

3. Is it adviceable to collect these transcripts from the school and send to wes by myself or we should allow the school take their time in sending it.

4. Please, i will like to know the detail address of WES.

Thanks all while i look forward to reading your replies.
