Sunky200:My point there is that education is no automatic assurance of breakthrough or a open sesame to success. |
What are the facts here: It is Vintage work of art. It's definitely a masterpiece.... But, It was made by a Nigerian No one knew when it was listed in a foreign auction for sale (It shouldn't even be listed for sale in the first place but ok...) It wasn't even sold in Naira Just in case someone begins to wonder if the Artist will get paid for his work I guess you can deduce yourself!!! Trying to picture this same scenario with one of Picasso's painting.... Only in Africa!! |
Great step in the right direction. Positive change starts here!! I'm just addicted to good news!! |
Great step in the right direction I hope he has a B plan for his life as well So we don't start reading stories like yesterday A graduate with a distinction working as a bricklayer This will keep happening in societies today until people understand the limitations of educations If you don't have a B or C or even D plan for before, during and after school your Shii is Fvcked up bro!! Imagine, Some graduates claim they are looking for job but don't even have a LinkedIn profile Nor Send atleast 50 applications perday. Nothing good comes easy man!! How can I just over emphasize this!!!!!!!!!!!!! Gosh!! |
Owill1:Thank you!! |
Now that Nigerian artistes have succeeded in giving her fame Which is her initial reason for the sojourn into the Nigerian Music Industry I hope she gets to go back and make waves in her own country!!! |
This man may not have the best moral ethics But believe me, He has a good heart And eager to make sounding impacts when situations warrants them! |

Politics in Nigeria is so confusing! |
When Mishaps happen in countries like these, Unfortunately, it is the common man that get most of the hit! You can decide to be whatever you want to be today... But never settle for less. Never be ok with meagre. Never stay common! FYI, A common man is another name for average. Where probably you or the rest 45% of the gen population fall into. The least on the Tier are the poor. I'll rather reserve comments about the poor for another day |
Help you how? |
Well said |
Statutory Rape! |
LaudableXX:Did you just say the act that was passed some 24 hours ago are now being implenemented by some land lords? |
urbanemind:We can only try to bring smart ideas to forum Unfortunately, we are not able to bring smart people to every comment! |
mema900:That was a funny one! ![]() |
emonis88:Who says life is easy? |
minke:Such is life. More reason why ending up in the category of the former is essential |
You forgot to talk about staying away from Life frustrating countries Majority of people look discoloured, older and degenerated Not because they cannot afford three square meals a day But because the problem is PSYCOLOGICAL Like Trevon James (BCC guru of Youtube) will say: The It lives within.... |
When you are a CEO (Especially your own boss), You basically need no further compensation than just that. The fact that you get to own your OWN firm, Tell your OWN people how you want to run you OWN things, And TAILOR your OWN ideas for an implementation is massive enough That inner joy you get doing these thing is unquantifiable with MONEY. Try it too, then thank me later!! |
Awesome. Looks like the learned colleagues have done the right thing again These are the set of people that will feel the backlash of these laws the most (the rich) So would you expect them to agree to a law that lets them pay more and stress more? On the other hand, the poor don't care cos they are busy arranging their rent for Mr Land lord (Last day of the month again) So they cant even afford a their monthly rent not to talk of 1/8 plot of land. |
Scammers everywhere!! Lagos NA WA |
This is when success gets very interesting... I call it "THE DIG MOMENT" When they begin digging dip to get track records and dissect/analyse your humble beginning We all started somewhere. Some of us are just more concerned about our future than the rest!! |
If it is legit If it is true, noble and pure If it is lovely and admirable if anything is excellent, praiseworthy, Then continue to do it If only we can pause for a second and mark these checklists before our actions! Another great success story... Not told by me this time around but inspired by the holy book Go girl!!! |
Can we see what Nigeria's Motorcade looks like on the side as well? This is when comparism gets funny! |
lexy2014: Man! the loopholes in the story is so much that you need a shock absorber to accommodate the lies I'll rather think about why Saturday comes before sunday, that think about such discrepancies!! |
Im addicted to success stories. It still baffles me how some people are just filled with hatred. That's the worst you can ever do to yourself! I have learned to laugh with the joyful and mourn with the grief This has been one of my key secret to success over the years Welldone guys. Let that joy not cease in your house!! |
HegenIkomkeh:Thank you! |
Rule number 1: Don't believe everything the media tells you... Its all scripted Most of these girls know someone who knows someone who knows these perpetrators Everyone be talking about insurgents like they are aliens... Seriously?? And the media keeps dishing out scripted interviews and ordeals enmass to the world. And someone talks about reputation here... A long lost African attribute!!! |
Great!! |
Working on a project similar to the Big brother here... ONLY that It recognises talents, special skills, excellent grades and extra ordinary people Im looking to have a forward-moving advice and concepts with those interested. |
The poor will definitely feel the backlash, more. When Land Use Charge increases, do you think the landlord will not pass the cost to the poor, by increasing his house rent? Think man, think!
He increased survey fees a short while ago, and now he is increasing the Land Use Charge astronomically! Is it now a crime to be a landlord in Lagos?
