shoodboi2: So, we've now gone into countermeasures? As usual, you're being inconsistent. Let's end this conversation here.
The simple fact that you cannot name a single missile that is suspected (not proven. Suspected) of firing flares and chaff midflight tells a lot. As others have pointed out, this is new technology. Something never seen or even heard of before. So if Chaff, Flares and others are not countermeasures mechanism then what are they? |
Foreign Affairs › Re: Russia-Ukraine War: World News, Weapons & Battlefield Discussions - Live by AyoII(m): 11:49am On Dec 30, 2023 |
shoodboi2: You've gone from flares to flares, chaff, and RF system. The conversation is on flares. We could add chaff too since it's closely related.
Since you claim flares are nothing new in missiles tech, could you mention any missile (from any country) that is known or suspected to fire flares or chaffs mid-flight as shown in that video? (Remember that a decoy missile/warhead is different from a flare/chaff). Whatever they are all counter measures methods and nothing new. Period!!! |

Or you can stay ignorant.
It is the first of its kind. In the whole world. You are not one to tell me about the KH-101, X-101 Missiles. The one circulating since in the news are the ones Russia has added counter measures to. Infact he ordinary one has been in use in Ukraine since February. However Western systems like Patriots are radar-guided, and would not be thrown off by flares .............. ............. All the top US military blogs, experts and major news outlets were wowed yesterday. Saying they've never seen or heard something like that is in existence before.
[b]You Western supporters find it hard to admit that Russia has the most sophisticated and superior military technology in the world.

shoodboi2: By "decoy with missiles", are you talking about decoy missiles or missiles that release decoy flares? They are two different things.
Decoy missiles are common and well known. Missiles that release decoy flares are not.
The video shows a Russian missiles releasing decoy flares. This capability is something that has been suspected for a while, but until the Special Military Operation started, no one has confirmed that any weapon system has it. Talking of the AIM-9 Sidewinder, it does not release decoy flares. Whatever the case and I might be wrong with the example of Sidewinder. But the use of flare, chaffs and RF system is nothing new in missiles tech. But anyways.. |

WriterNiiig: 🇷🇺 🤯 😱 Is it that Russia has just discovered the use of decoy with missiles, after like years of espionage or what?? Because I can't wrap my head around, why both are bombarding the thread with something not new or very spectacular if I should say like it's some next level shit. ESPECIALLY WITH THE PICTURES ATTACHED BY WriterNiiig The US AIM-9 Sidewinder which entered service since like 1957 Is of such technology, so the The Soviet K-13 (AA-2 "Atoll" which is reversed 3ngineered.

WriterNiiig: ⚡Russia has built a wall of electromagnetic pulses against Western missiles – Telegraph
Moscow has quietly developed a knack for destroying some of Ukraine's most valuable rockets and missiles, the newspaper writes.
The most modern missiles provided to Ukraine by Western partners do not reach their targets. The reason for Russian electronic warfare tactics. First, Ukraine noticed that its GPS-guided 155mm Excalibur artillery shells suddenly began to veer off target. Then missiles fired from the Himars, whose accuracy Kiev once boasted was “scalpel-like,” began to miss.
In some areas they almost always missed. The same thing happened with the JDAM guided bombs supplied to the Ukrainian Air Force by the US," the publication states. But the same missiles sunk two ships days ago and have also downed some jets. Moreover, most US and other western missiles does not operate using GPS as it's guidance mechanism alone. Other systems includes An Infrared (IR) sensor and Inertial Measurement Unit (IMU), lasers and others I cannot remember just incase the GPS signals are jammed. Some missiles will use GPS initially, then turn it off and use other guidance mechanism to finish the job. Anyways you can do better with your propagandas |

This is highest level of buffonery. When Germany is facing both existential and economical crisis. WriteerNig: ⚡“Ukrainian tax could be the answer”
Germany proposed increasing income tax for Germans in order to raise funds to help Ukraine.
“The German government should increase income taxes for Germans so that the country can support Ukraine,” said Monika Schnitzer, a member of the economic council under the German government.
According to her, special events require special measures.
“Solidarity with Ukraine by introducing an income tax surcharge for military aid would be a possible response to this challenge,” she stressed.” |

Bro i wish i can like your comment a billion times. You see those two spanish mafias, especially madrid. Very selfish and like doing things which curry to their greediness. I and always cry foul when it backfires. I can remember when perez was moaning about psg inflating the transfer market when in reality they were the first to start calling themself galaticos. Now they have seen it will be hard to compete especially with the epl's runaway revenue and attractiveness to moneybags. Now they want another tool to satify their greed. I trust the epl to give a fight as it threathing them the most and others too jelel6: The first time they came with their elitist Super League and received a huge backlash, you could forgive them and say they'll learn from it. Now, however, the greed in these Spanish Mafia clubs such as Real and Barca is nauseating.
The new format they came up with is even worse and out of touch with reality. How can you suggest it will take a minimum of 3 years for the team which hypothetically wins their league just to get into the top tier in Super League? Meaning they'll have to work their way up from the lower league like the teams in league 1 and championship has to do in England. Hahaha
Real and Barca can go ahead with their new competition. But nobody will watch it. They have had their golden years during the era of Messi and Ronaldo. They'll never get to that much hype again. They milked their leagues dry by collecting 50% of the revenues while the rest struggled with half. Now, they fear they can't compete with the biggest premier league teams financially who initially supported the whole league rather than demand greater share of revenue at the detriment of the rest.
They'll be humbled those greedy lots. |

The Red Sea situation is a whole different, imagine first all he countries involved decides to take action. But they won't because they know the US is there to save their as S .
