This issue has been trashed. Wake up in the middle of the night, only working days, between 11pm and 12am, you ll find available dates

Bros fill BLOCK ACCOUNT in your application form as means of subsistence and go for your interview on Monday,when asked during the interview tell them you are using block account. Forward your Sponsorship letter to them immediately you are able to get it, and write a small email that you are changing from Block account to Sponsorship letter.

Dont you think this can only work if he has opened a blocked account. If he hasn't, I'ld suggest he opens fintiba sharpsharp

I have an existing appointment for work visa (about 3 months away) but I see dates that are closer than this (some are even 2 weeks away) from time to time. Can I cancel the existing one and rebook immediately? Like ASAP o. Has anyone here done this before with success? I'm weary because I do not wanna lose on both ends.

On applying for master after you have one master here in nigeria. Can it be a reason for visa rejection? Just asking.

If this what @ayomeah was talking about. I'm sorry to say it's rejection but you can always appeal. That's normal but just be courageous to do fast to appeal.

You can't. All schools that require you to apply through uniassist mandates that all documents be passed to them through uniassist. If your deadline has not yet passed, you can send 5he documents to uniassist.

If the recommendation letters are not mandatory for your school's application (like you just added your own jara), then you can bone.

If these two conditions doesn't apply to you, then i think you might have to forfeit the admission.

But you can send a message to uniassist and the school and ask for their opinion on it. You might be lucky.

You misquoted the whole thing. I know numerous numbers of people that their passport was collected after interview. In this case where the passport is being collected, it could be that the students enrollment deadline has passed or is by the corner and they have to hasten things up for the persons visa to come out fast. U need not be scared that ur passport was collected although mine wasn't collected but they requested for it when my visa was out.

Toefl is easier and it's cheaper. Google exam planet. They will help with the registration.

I really do not know how to go about this anymore.

I sent my documents to two different schools on the 4th and 12th of December respectively. I used Nipost unregistered mail, so tracking it myself is out of the question.

Now, I have mailed the two schools asking them to confirm if they have received my documents. The one i sent on the 4th said they cannot comfirm my request because of the volume of application they are receiving.
The second school asked me not to mail them again about the status of my documents, that I should check my admission status on their portal. I am comfused because i did not ask for the status of my admission, I only requested to know if they have received my documents so I can know if i should send another just incase.

Please is there really another way to comfirm if they have received the hard copies of your documents apart from mailing the schools?

Yes. I sent a mail to embassy today about it and their response was that it was booked and cancelled. That they have no influence on the system and that system will not allow to apply till 3 weeks after appointment. I saw Feb 21st and 23rd last night, but I didn't book as my enrollment is early March. I just need to get date around January.

Hello, I've been following the issue you have with your student visa appointment. I'm really sorry. This is something that shouldn't be wished on anyone.

However, there's something you're not getting right. When the consulate replied you that you can book 3 weeks after, they meant three weeks after your appointment i.e. if you honoured that appointment and for some reasons your application was rejected due to incomplete documents or something.

Meaning if you are yet to honour you appointment, you can cancel your appointment this minute and book another the next (as long as it's a week before the appointment, i think), just make sure your desired date is available.

Also, you don't have to use another email. It's really unnecessary. As long as you cancelled correctly, your details wont be found on the system again and you can book another entry.

I know it's difficult to relax in situations like this, but please relax, hopefully, you'll be fine.

Yes, if it's requested. If you dont, your application is incomplete.

Please how many weeks does it take to get your bank details (the document one need for the visa interview)?

You dont have to wait for winter. There are both summer n winter intake and its not an online application. You will only download thw form, print it, fill it and attach your documents and send it to the school.
Deadline for summer is 15th January. You can still meet up.

No, if you can prove that your school's language of instruction is English by getting a letter from the school authorities.

Hi guys, so I'm filling my visa application form as against my appointment later this week...I intend to use a sponsorship letter but due to the holiday season and unforeseen circumstances, i won't be available to present it on my interview date this week..I intend to go with my blocked account details which I opened in August for the winter semester 2017 but couldn't meet up for due to the embassy appointment situation...so I have a few questions I want you guys to help me out on.....

1) How do I go about using my blocked account details for the interview and later submitting my sponsorship letter when I get it without complicating issues for myself (read about a similar situation on this thread but can't locate precisely the page that is).
2) When asked about my means of sustenance on the application form, should I fill blocked account or sponsorship (considering my above situation).
3) On a lighter mood, how did you guys that have already gone for the interview sort out hotel accommodation issues (as par high pricing on the Island) cos I intend to be in Lagos a day before my D-day to avoid stories that touches(Lagos recent traffic and fuel palaver)..

Just go with your blocked account details for the visa interview. When asked source of funding, answer with the source you intend using when you opened the blocked account. But make sure you get your sponsorship letter across to the consulate by the second week after the visa interview to avoid rejection.
I know someone who did something like that and it worked for the person

The 2.5 cgpa, is that your Nigerian cgpa or German conversion?
Also, this document says 73%, i doubt if 2.5 whether Nigerian or German conversion is up to 73%

I saw on their website it can be completely opened online in minutes.
I thought booking an Visa appointment requires a Slip which would be gotten after opening an acct at the embassy. So if i do this online, do i get the slip from Fintiba, or how else do i book the appointment?

Your questions are not silly. After opening on fintiba, you will be sent your account details which you'll present as an evidence of ba during visa interview at the consulate.

Yes fintiba is fast and straightforward but they deduct 5euro from your account every month for maintenance, and i heard sometimes it can be more.

Deutschebank is not straightforward n seem stressful to open but i think its worth the stress at the end of the day.

Cancel it again.
Once that message pops up, it wont go through until you do it again even if you try for days. It might be a system error such that your first cancellation wasn't recognized. And unfortunately, even if you send a message to the consulate, they will say they cant influence the system, so there's nothing they can do. It has happened to me too.

Provide you waec n Cambridge results. I dont know anything about preinternships. I'ld suggest you send an email to your school to clarify.

It depends on the School. The School i applied to, 10 days and one about 3 weeks. Some schools take as long as 6 weeks. If you're applying through uniassist, it usually takes a while because uniassist evaluates it first which takes about a month before sending their evaluation to the school who will then decide if they want you admitted or not. Most times, it's in the positive.
Like i said earlier, It depends on the School and their admission process.

And also about TOEFL and IELTS. The schools clearly stated that Native English speakers which I believe we Nigerians are do not need to submit a proof of english proficiency.The schools are Rhein-Waal University And University of applied sciences Wurzbug(FHWS).

Nigerians are not native English speakers.
We get exemptions sometimes though, mostly based on your educational background (English as the language of instruction).

Check in the middle of the night between 11pm and 1am. They add new dates, though i don't know if the consulate is still adding.
