A "BIG IF"

The first reason why I will want to serve in his government is to help build the nation’s economy.
Every day I imagine myself to be in his shoes and wondering how I would handle the states of affairs.
IF he could convince me beyond every reasonable doubt that the pardon of Alams will benefit the country, then I will stay. The end will justify the means. If the pardon of a thief will bring benefits to millions of Nigerians, then I will support him.

But I seriously doubt IF that it is the case.

I did not vote for him in 2011 because I was not in the country. I would have voted for him should I was around.

I have been one of the few guys that still support GEJ and thinks that if we give him time and our support he will perform well.
But this issue of Alams pardon really fall my hand. I do not understand why a country like Nigeria at this stage we are should grant state pardon to jailed corrupt politicians. We all know that corruption is the bane of our problem in the country and GEJ cannot be seen to be taken action to address it by given pardon to corrupt officials.


So I may not actually vote for him next time if I have the chance. It depends on whom the candidates are from the other parties comes 2015.
I hope APC can get very young progressive people to represent them in 2015. Definitely will not vote for Buhari , Tinubu or Atiku. They are old and should be able to nominate very good, progressive younger men.

I have seen how Fashola is working well in Lagos, I have had of Okorocha, but not actually been to his states to see the changes. I know we have more good guys like them in Nigeria.

If we can get some of these guys to come out and contest, definitely I will vote for them.

That is my take.

You have to be in it to win it. I will go there try to do my best and if I noticed that I cannot effect any changes or perform as I would have love then I can resign.

I am just wondering which is better between Obj government and Yar'dua government. Many people feels that Obj government was very bad and that Yar'dua's own has not done anything. I bought a ford explorer from the UK last year and it was converted to LHD in Nigeria. I started having problem with the gear box few months after the conversion. I even brought another gear box from the UK and was fitted into the jeep. It only worked for few days before it stopped working again. Now the jeep is parked at my friend house in Lagos.

I am now looking for a good ford mechanic that can advise me on what to do. Please I will like  anybody out there that owns a ford explorer to  tell me your experience about the jeep in Nigeria.

The fact remains that no President in Nigeria has got the gut to arrest him yet. May be one day it will happen. We can only pray it does.
