Don't mind them. My friend really wakes up early in morning to work in lekki and he wake up by 4:30am and he eat before going to work around 5am and he told sometimes he doesn't eat anything in office u till he gets hom around 7pm.

So what's special about 1-0-1 fasting they are shouting about.

when rain is fallen the weather is cool u don't suffer much. But dnt tell me when Lagos is hot ur friend will not drink water from 5am til 7pm

On my end here, yesterday was the worst day so far.
I discovered a new tennis court around my place and decided to go play yesterday.
I almost passed out after playing for some time.
I had to tell someone to help me get chilled Coke, I had already decided to break the fast.

It wasn't easy, it felt like my internal organs were collapsing.

Back then in Kano in the late eighties and through the 90s, the heat was so much and sometimes we soak a wraper inside water and tie it! and before long the cloth is already dry.When it's time to break the fast you literally start celebrating and if care is not taken you may over drink the ice water and have little or space left for food!

Well as for me I try as much to limit roaming about, except for things that are necessary,sometime I scheduled my outing to be either early morning or towards the evening most of the times.

As for your sahoor take alot of water infact more than food,Rest alot especially under the trees or in the mosque.Above all may Allah accept it from me and you, remember he is the only one that knows the exact reward of your fasting,all act if ibadah are for yourself while fasting is for him and him alone,do yourself favour to avoid anything that will temper with your fasting,block your views and hearing of frivolities.

So any time you though of having a sip of water just remember the reward and think of other Muslims in various parts of the world that have extremes weather far harsh than ours.
