Today's Governorship election in Lagos State has been successfully transformed into a Yoruba vs Igbo showdown all thanks to Jimi Agbaje's/PDP's ethnic and divisive politics. Jonathan dished out millions of dollars trying to buy votes after running a failed government, it turned out he was being scammed by those community leaders and he suffered a shameful defeat at the polls. |

CHM11:I've seen some comments from Igbos on this forum claiming they're helping Yorubas build Lagos and Yorubas are not being appreciative. If you want to live on your own, why don't you start by relocating from the South West as well as other regions back to your zones (SE) and live "on your own", then people can start taking you all serious...You don't scatter yourselves in every nook and cranny of the country and come on here to claim you wan't to live on your own. BTW what Niger Delta do you think will break off?? Keep on living in self deceit. I hope you've seen how the Niger Deltans are containing the defeat of their Brother at the Presidential Polls? "Ohaneze can take the Oba to the Human Rights Commission, there's really no problem with that. I'm personally of the opinion that the Oba went over board even though Ibos have been provocative in their actions and statements in Lagos over the years". BTW, Just as all the "GEJ Till 2019" and "NO Vacancy in Aso Rock" sycophants have mysteriously disappeared from this forum after Jonathan's shameful defeat, that is exactly how all Igbos deliberately heating the polity will disappear after Agbaje's defeat come Saturday. Everybody that matters has come out publicly to rebuke the Oba's statements as well as dissociate themselves from the Oba yet some people want a personal apology from an "Oba of Lagos" - something that their own leaders can never do, some people are "head-swelled" on the attention they're currently getting and are hell bent on heating the polity. Even the Igbo leaders present at the meeting with the Oba were well composed and didn't use his statements to create unwarranted fracas. Jimi Agbaje who has now turned his "Governorship Race" into an "Igbo Agenda" has ended his ambition with his own hands. PDP tried divisive politics in the Presidential Polls and it failed woefully, just as it will fail on Saturday. Enlightened Yorubas in Lagos are gradually seeing that "Agbaje" has now turned his governorship race to an "Igbo Agenda" so on Saturday, it's going to be Yorubas vs Igbos in Lagos so let's see which tribe has the highest population in Lagos. The Igbos claim they constitute about 70% of the population in Lagos  You don't mix hate with politics if not you'll make wrong decisions. Because of unwarranted hatred for Tinubu and Fashola, the Igbos have decided to vote PDP which is in fact very hilarious. How would a normal person vote Agbaje over Ambode in Lagos State?? Because you wan't to end "Tinubu's so-called reign"?? You prefer bringing in Bode George, Obanikoro and other 'toutish' PDP losers to come and milk Lagos State dry after losing out at the Federal Level?? What a "wise" decision! With all this unwarranted hate towards Tinubu/Fashola and public rebellion against APC by the Igbos, Where will the Igbos stand if Ambode now wins this elections?? #DontPutAllYourEggsInOneBasket 8 Likes 1 Share |
