kika23: Why should I woo a NL guy? Ptfff.....
So that indirectly means you can woo another man who isn't on Nairaland right?

It's really funny that there's no indicator on the foreheads of Nigerian men showing if they're on Nairaland or not. *sighs*

Tashamania: Yes, we do have gentlemen on here, really! And I'm serious we do. I am a living witness to that smiley
Although they might try to joke around few times but the real person behind the moniker turns out to be just amazing cheesy more than what you expect. Well, I really do not believe in an e-romance stuff cos it sure pretty do not work. I am not a fan of it. I beg to differ though

So chic, keep keeping on, never try to 'chyke' a guy on here as you would be labelled something else by other silly posters. Infact, in the part of the world where I come from (which I believe you might be from too cheesy), girls don't innitiate relationships, you could be a part of the innitiator yourself but girl, never let them misunderstand your feelings for been flirty cheesy

Noone should dare quote me! angry
Baby when do you intend opening that thread to woo me? wink grin

Acidosis: Op is simply looking for public sympathy and attention.

I am very sure there are good guys who showed love to you, but you kept them in the FRIENDZONE. Go and analyze your whatsapp/bbm/fb messengers. There is someone out there showing interest since 1975; stop attracting public sympathy.
You're talking sense jare. There's definitely a guy this lady knows who has been wooing her for quite some time but she's put him comfortably in the BBM/WHATSAPP/NAIRALAND zone. Reasons maybe because he isn't the type she wants but ironically she's the type that guy wants.

Now she don see 6ft+ Ibo guy we she like she expects the guy to immediately drool over her. Tuale for that guy jare.
Romance › Re: Why Is It Difficult To Woo Guys On Nairaland? by ayukdaboss(m): 5:07pm On Sep 04, 2014
Toks2008: Haaa! Persistence ke? One single effort equates to 1year effort of a guy on a lady.
I'm telling you. Although it's a privilege of the smallest magnitudes for a man to be wooed by a lady but she has to show interest more than that.

Read their conversation...very shallow.

It's something like "Hi...How are you..6ft right..Youre in Enugu right...let's go on a date.

Please which decent lady on Nairaland will accept such proposal? angry

She should try again jare with some better lines. If she doesn't wanna try again she should stay put and wait till a guy woos her. I read she's pretty, guess she wouldn't have to wait too long.

3cycle: Once beaten, twice shy.
Nna I don hang boot too, no need to persist.
You see? Your ego is too much. No guy who really wants a girl will just try once or maybe you're not really interested in the guy. If you can't be persistent in wooing a guy please stay put until one does. wink

Please what's with the hullabaloo on this thread? Every female account on this thread is on the offensive. "How can a fine girl like you be ignored" "You have big hips how could he ignore you?". Lots of amusing comments here even some of my fellow guys dey bleep up.

She tried to woo a guy once yesterday night he ignored her. She came here to open a thread today. So the guy is supposed to start drooling over her immediately cause she tried to woo him?

Girls on this thread be sincere how many guys have you started conversing with online and even dropped your contact on the first day you guys met? Quite a few of you have, the rest have never. You want a guy to chase you and show persistent interest before you consider him so you dont look cheap right? Same goes for some of us guys while some will drool over a girl especially a 'hot' one who said HI first.

It's very simple, the guy 3cycle was trying to woo is not cheap or probably doesn't want to look cheap which resulted in his attitude.

She should reciprocate what we guys do in this situation.."Persistence". If the guy still shuts her off after persistent trials she moves on instead of creating threads and whoever that guy is..."Tuale Baba"

The Love of Money on the part of the Doctor who knew the dangers of his action but ignored them due to greed.

Corrupt and Clueless Politicians and Leaders who instead of preparing against Ebola were busy spreading 'false' propaganda of having enough Ebola vaccines for the whole world.

A government still hosting large gatherings of people from around the country all in the name of political rally even with the high-risk of Ebola spread.

Nigerians who feel they can't go down alone. Knowing you're infected you're still moving to another state sharing the virus to even the family you claim you love.

It's a sad situation in this country.

"Surviving"? It's good to know you've acknowledged that. Do you know how many projects have ended on paper and public announcements? It's not about sitting behind our smartphones and clamouring "GEJ till 1999" all over the internet. Do you also know that few of the working railway lines in the country were only renovated not newly constructed? Now we're talking about the construction of a new railway line from Lagos-Calabar? If you're sincere you should know what's up...Political propaganda which has an 80% probability of ending on paper simply because the South-South people have started becoming disgruntled....Reasons because we're not noticing anything different since our supposed "brother" is in the seat of affairs. Funny enough I live in Calabar, last month salaries were delayed for almost 2 weeks and it has been like that for quite some time now for a "South-South State". Major Federal roads here connecting Cross River and Akwa-Ibom State have been in deplorable conditions over the years causing so many accidents and things aren't getting any better in the so-called "South-South" states.

Anyways I only hope for the best for this Nation.

Romance › Re: Run When A Woman Says: I Need Us To Have This Conversation by ayukdaboss(m): 8:00pm On Sep 03, 2014
I don't really understand people on this thread. Was the guys age on pause? Is it only the lady who spent four years? All the ladies here crying foul be sincere to yourself what picture do you have of a young family earning 120k per month in Nigeria? Do you wanna be in that house? Forget about love here some ladies will claim love will thrive above all problems of that marriage but they're the same folks who'll start putting unnecessary pressure on that man after the marriage.

Do you think if that guy was doing really well financially he wouldn't have married this lady before four years?

I keep on saying it for a Modern Family in Nigeria to thrive money must be involved. It was those days that our parents married for love and you will see your mum hustling just to make ends meet. Which lady is ready to 'hustle' now for the family? Barely a few.

The guy has been sincere. From the conversation he didn't go into the relationship with the sole aim of keeping a woman he'll never marry.

But if women feel this way y'all should start accessing a man's finances before starting a relationship with him. If a Guy is doing really well...keeps you in his house 3-4months with no plans for the future....then ask him Watsup? If he doesn't give you any sensible reason why he's delaying then you know that's not the guy for you.

Men don't want an uncomfortable home as much as women. I've set my own goals and I plan to achieve them before 30 and I'm working hard for them. I must have my own house (not rented) and a particular amount in my account before gettig married. Any woman who isn't ready to put up with that time should let me be instead of rushing into marriage and giving me sleepless nights grin

priscaoge: GEJ is working!!!!

I wonder when Nigerians will put political sentiments aside and appreciate this Man 4 once.

GEJ we know till 2019!!!!
When Fashola reduced the school fees of LASU, you PDP mongers took to the internet stating that it was propaganda ahead of 2015 elections.

Now you claim GEJ is working because a railway project has just been announced which we both sincerely know 'might' never be completed?

Talk about "political sentiments".
