Why cant we be like our fore fathers, it was so simple to be in love back then and easy to live a long healthy life, You hear things like X married Y and they begot Z and X lived 760 years. Today its X met Y and they begot Z but Y was cheating with W and X had an ex-wife V who married his friend U, X lived 42 years after dying from a cardiac arrest... Psst! Funny thing is i have always wondered why way back then humans lived so long sometimes Up to 300yrs. Lets look at 2 scenarios, Science has tried to explain this by saying we don't live so long now because of the unhealthy way we live our lives and the present unhealthy state of the environment as well. this just like the big bang theory doesn't make sense to me, because if this is correct, literally 10,000yrs from now, humans will probably have an average life span of 35years. Coming to religion, it teaches that sin has reduced our average life span. That because of sin we no longer live as long as the 'Abraham days'. I have my reservations about this too, and i will say why, Reason is, there is nothing like a new sin, any sin that is being committed now has always been in existence. if it has anything to do with the accumulation of sins from our bloodline being passed from one generation to another, then just like science in years to come, our sins would have accumulated so much that the average life span would be less than 35years. Life is a mystery no doubt, but there is one 'excuse' either science or religion haven't used yet, Perhaps the way they calculate their calendar year then, is not the same way we do now. This is what i mean; presently, we have 365days in a year, maybe back then the way they calculated a calendar year they had lets say only 50days in a year. This will mean that someone who is 70years now will have been assumed to be 511years then. This is more logical than anything else i have heard about this issue. But hey, don't take me seriously is just a random thought. I posted this because i will like to be enlightened from different people's perspective on what is the possible explanation of a shorter average life span as the years pass by.... share your knowledge please |

metroparrot:the interior parts still needs a lot of improvement to allow the flask retain heat etc, also i wouldn't want to be poisoned when the wood starts to degrade/decay |
Kolababe:hmmm, sorry to say oh, but for Christians who don't believe in hell fire and its eternal torment of sinners, who don't believe that dreams can sometimes be used as a communication medium from God, who also don't believe that everyone can make heaven (i.e. only 144,000 are allowed into heaven). if they like, let them enter soak away, i wont open my door for them. End of discussion |
buharisbae:did you consider the fact that there must be something really wrong with that car? if not, someone else, mayb the mechanic would have picked it up and started using it or perhaps sold the parts off?? |

so, i just thought i should share this video with you all. it premiered few weeks ago and i think i need to read some comments (both praises and criticism). in Nigeria today, music is fast becoming one of the most sort of industry and highest employer of Nigerian youths, but i still think talent is still yet to be appreciated in the industry. This is a video by a very talented upcoming artiste named akay and to my knowledge this is his debut musical video produced by adasa cookey. i think he deserves the utmost support for his unique talent and serenade vocals. but you be the judge. watch below: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=hogfSBnoPgo Get Audio https://my.notjustok.com/track/38003/akay-parachute-prod-by-password connect with Akay: monkeymediahouse@gmail.com Instagram - AkayOfficial01 Twitter - @Akay01 Facebook - www.fb.com/simplyakay please keep your comments clean and matured. criticism is welcomed.

I have watched this film before... |
Written By RedRuby (@RedRubylicious) ****************** FICTIONAL ********************* I stared at his body, watching the blood gush out of his side as he struggled with the pain and clutched at life making it even harder for himself…’Don’t fight it Toye, let go’ i whispered into his ears, my hands shaking so badly as i shut his eyes and continued staring at the bullet hole in his side. I was free at last and i couldn’t feel a damn thing. You must be confused by now..thinking who shot him? what exactly happened here?..don’t bother i will tell you everything. My name is Caroline Adenrele and Toye is my husband, well he was..he is history now, Toye and i met at my roommate Chioma’s birthday party back when we were still in the University. I was in my second year and he was a final student.. he had come with one of the guys Chioma had invited and she had asked me to make sure they were comfortable. The ten minutes we spoke to each other was all it took-instant attraction, at some point we moved to the dance floor and it was like we were the only ones in the room..the way our bodies melted into one , he had eyes for only me and i was fast falling in like. That was the beginning of ’Toye and Caroline’.. there was nobody that didn’t know us, we were the ‘IT’ couple in UI then, something like Jay-z and Beyonce. I was so in love and there really was no reason not to be, Toye was everything a girl could ever dream of. He had the looks part totally covered but his brains were the killer, he was a math whiz..not the geeky type that spent all their days indoors on their computer solving the worlds problems but the type that was outgoing and partied but still managed to remain on that 6.1 CGPA. How he did it, nobody knew and that even cemented his image more as a genius in school, ahhhh i was definitely in love. I was reading one of the not so popular courses due to my inability to get the medicine i had really wanted to study, yeah Jamb was a b**ch! but i was satisfied with Human Kinetics and it was a fairly good course. Our relationship was pure bliss until tragedy struck in Toye’s family, his father had a terrible accident on Lagos-Ibadan expressway while on his way to visit Toye in school and he died on the spot. The news hit him pretty hard and as expected he blamed himself for his father’s death, as the good girlfriend i comforted him, cooking and going to clean up his place off campus seeing that he was so depressed. All his friends tried to bring him back from the black pit he was falling in, gone was the spark in his eyes, the charming smile he flashed so careless but he never totally came back. Things were fairly back to normal and our relationship was almost where it used to be, he had started touching me again and i was happy! we didn’t have sex throughout his mourning period not even a kiss so you can understand. One extremely sunny Friday afternoon, i was walking from my department down to the Student Union Area as i was finding it quite difficult getting a cab down to the gate. A shiny blue car slowed down beside me and the driver (really cute guy!) said ‘Hello pretty lady..its too hot for you to be walking to wherever , please tell me where you’re headed so i can drop you off, I mean no harm o!’ he adding jokingly. My brain was already frying from the heat and i just wanted to get to the gate, i didn’t even think twice..i got in, ‘Thank you very much, i was heading to the school gate but there’s no cab available’ i explained. ‘Ahh i think they having a meeting or something, but im grateful since they helped me meet a pretty lady today. My name is Daniel Ubak’ he replied smoothly, ‘I’m Caroline’ i threw back with a smile. By the time we got to the gate , we knew each others departments, halls of residence and phone numbers and i was cool i with that. He seemed like a really nice guy and i didn’t have any guy friends at the time, i dropped and was making my way through the crowd when a hand grabbed my shoulder and pulled me back, i turned around and i was staring into Toye’s blazing eyes . ‘Errm baby what’s wrong??’ i asked. He didn’t say anything but pulled me outside and started dragging me and walking towards his place, i didn’t want to cause a scene so i acted normal , he didn’t say a single word till we were home. I could feel the anger coming off in waves from him and i couldn’t figure out why, i just knew it was going to be a big fight, ‘What is all this Toye? why drag me like that in front of all those people..whats wrong?’ i threw at him beginning to get angry myself. *WHACK!!!* a resounding slap that sent me sprawling to the ground was the explanation i got, ‘You lying cheating LovePeddler!! I saw you drop from that guys car all smiling and doey eyed! You’re fucking him right??.. Source: http://jstsaying.com/article-dark-desire-part-1/

I don’t know if I should say Good morning, because truthfully, what I woke up to find in my mail, has sucked out all the good in the morning. This country used to be a place where I could travel far North, South, East, West and still make home early enough and in one piece for dinner. In this video, you can see a woman, suspected to be an SSS operative being tortured by suspected members of the dreaded boko haram sect, after extracting the information they require, she is then beheaded and every single thing is cut on type. Very HORRIFYING video. What’s this country turning into? VIEWERS DISCRETION IS STRONGLY ADVISED. Source: http://jstsaying.com/video-boko-haram-behead-female-sss-operative/ |

A lot has definitely changed and now gender equality has been largely embraced. Empowerment brought about a new breed of enterprising African women who have managed to excel in their various fields. Video: A Nigerian Policeman Trying To Extort An Innocent Citizen Caught On Camera. The Nigerian Police Force has become a money making venture. This is real sad I must confess, in this amateur video we got from an undisclosed source on a social messenger platform, it is very clear to understand that the police officer is trying to ‘illegally extort’ this innocent citizen who catches the whole scene on tape.I must say that this particular victim is a very courageous one, as he, unknowingly to the policeman, records on tape as the officer threatens to arrest him if he refuses to drop ‘something’. With no luck of collecting a dime from the victim, he puts a call through to a superior officer, to come over and make the arrest. I keep asking myself, but why?
