Rasool Allah (saw) would tell Hazrat Bilal to give Azaan in such beautiful words which shows the love for Salah that Rasool Allah(saw) had. "ارحنا بالصلاة يابلال" "Give us comfort by Salah Ya Bilal" And Rasool Allah (saw) said, The coolness of my eyes is in Salah, |
"Hearts are like cooking pots. They will boil whatever is in them.& the scooping spoons of these pots are the tongue. Henceforth, look to a person whenever he speaks. For sure, his tongue will scoop up for you what is simmering in his heart: whether it’s (something) sweet or sour, fresh or stale” ~ The illness & the cure by Ibnul Qayyim Al-Jawziyyah ~ |

Muslim Book 35, Number 6518: Abu Huraira reported Allah's Messenger (may peace be upon him) as saying: "He who alleviates the suffering of a brother out of the sufferings of the world, Allah would alleviate his suffering from the sufferings of the Day of Resurrection, and he who finds relief for one who is hard pressed, Allah would make things easy for him in the Hereafter, and he who conceals (the faults) of a Muslim, Allah would conceal his faults in the world and in the Hereafter. Allah is at the back of a servant so long as the servant is at the back of his brother, and he who treads the path in search of knowledge, Allah would make that path easy, leading to Paradise for him and those persons who assemble in the house among the houses of Allah (mosques) and recite the Book of Allah and they learn and teach the Qur'an (among themselves) there would descend upon them the tranquility and mercy would cover them and the angels would surround them and Allah makes a mention of them in the presence of those near Him, and he who is slow-paced in doing good deeds, his (high) descent does not make him go ahead. Our Prophet(saw) Has told us to fast in the sacred months but not completely. The Prophet (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) said: “Fast some days of the sacred months and not others.” Narrated by Abu Dawood, 2428; The Prophet(saw) has mentioned the four sacred months as: Dhul-Qa' da, Dhul-Hijja and Muharram, and Rajab Narrated Abu Bakra: The Prophet said. "The division of time has turned to its original form which was current when Allah created the Heavens and the Earths. The year is of twelve months, out of which four months are sacred: Three are in succession Dhul-Qa' da, Dhul-Hijja and Muharram, and (the fourth is) Rajab of (the tribe of) Mudar which comes between Jumadi-ath-Thaniyah and Sha ban." Assalamualaikum bro. The Scholars give opinions based on the Quran and sunnah. Imam Ghazzali who lived 100s of years ago is widely accepted by the modern Ulema that he is one of the best Islamic scholars. I highly doubt that He will mention some thing that is against the Quran or the Prophets Sunnah. Maybe you can ask about it to the local Ulema in your area, bro. Anyways Ramadan i nearing, we should start preparing for it. Don't forget the dua i mentioned above bro. |
miftaudeen:This is what i heard in a Friday sermon from the Mosque. The Imam mentioned many classic scholars like Imam Ghazzali etc have this opinion, I do not know which hadith have they took the opinion from. |
miftaudeen:Assalamualaikum bro, Rajab is a very sacred month. Fasting in it has big rewards. But scholars say one should not fast the whole of Rajab continously. Atleast one day break should be taken. Only month that one should fast 'completely' is Ramadan. Other than that we should try to increase our deeds in this month of Rajab and next month Sha'baan. Dua of the Prophet (saw) It is mentioned on the authority of Anas Bin Malik (May Allah be pleased with him) that when the Holy Prophet (saw) sighted the moon of Rajab, he used to pray to Allah in the following words, https://i51.tinypic.com/2nir1vk.jpg ‘Allahuma Barik lana fi Rajaba wa Sha’bana wa ballighna Ramadhan’ “O Allah, make the months of Rajab and Sha’ban blessed for us, and let us reach the month of Ramadan .” |
Prophet (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) said, “Beautify the Qur’aan with your voices, for a fine voice increases the Qur’aan in beauty.” (Reported by al-Haakim, 1/575; Saheeh al-Jaami’, no. 3581). |
"Were you to go to the door of the governor, he would not receive you or give you any attention, perhaps he will even prevent you from getting near him. But the King of kings ,Allah, is saying ‘Whoever comes to me walking, I will go to him in speed,’ yet you turn away from Him and run after another!" ~Ibn Rajab al-Ḥanbalī |
Bismillahir-rehmanir-raheem Isra and Miraj رَبِّ اشْرَحْ لِي صَدْرِي وَيَسِّرْ لِي أَمْرِي وَاحْلُلْ عُقْدَةً مِنْ لِسَانِي يَفْقَهُوا قَوْلِي Today the Imam mentions the importance of Salath. All revelations from Allah was send to our Beloved Prophet :saw: through Jibril (as). But for the Revelation of 5 Farz Salat, Allah :taala: invited the Prophet :saw: and revealed it to him directly on the night of Isra, Miraj. So we can imagine the importance of Salat. It was initially 50 times and it was decreased to 5 times with the intervention of Musa (as) in the 6 heaven. Our Beloved Prophet Muhammad :saw: went back and forth 9 times to reduce it to the current 5 salat. Hence the reward for the 5 prayers is equivalent to the reward of 50 prayers. Also our Prophet :saw: was shown many types of punishments for various sins. Of that those who missed salat were punished by repeatedly smashing their heads with Heavy rocks. He also mentioned the importance of Salawat(durood), and advised to increase reciting it. He urged us to advise people who do not pray and tell them the importance of Salath and warn them about the punishment of missing it. |
“By Time, certainly, Man is in a state of loss, except those who believe (in Islamic Monotheism) and do righteous good deeds, and recommend one another to the truth, and recommend one another to patience.” [Quran: Al-Asr 103] |
Law prince:Jazakallahu Khairan bro. |
Abu Umamah Al-Bahili (ra) narrated that a man came to Rasulullah :saw: and asked : “What is the reward for a person who fought in the path of Allah, seeking fame and compensation?” The Prophet :saw: said : “There is no reward for him.” The man repeated the question three times to Rasulullah:saw: . Nabi :saw: replied : “There is no reward for him.”, and then said : “Allah accepts those deeds which were performed purely for His Sake and which were meant to seek His Pleasure.” |
Uqbah bin `Amir (R.A) said: I asked the Prophet SAW,"How can salvation be achieved?'' He replied, "Control your tongue, keep to your house, and weep over your sins.'' [At-Tirmidhi] |
"Do not hate the trials that befall you or the calamities that happen to you, for they may be something that you hate but it leads you to salvation, and there may be something that you love, but it brings to you your doom." - Hasan al-Basree |
miftaudeen:Please make dua to Allah to forgive my sins. May Allah make all of us enter Jannah. Ameen. |
"A good friend and a bad friend are like a perfume-seller and a blacksmith: The perfume-seller might give you some perfume as a gift, or you might buy some from him, or at least you might smell its fragrance. As for the blacksmith, he might singe your clothes, and at the very least you will breathe in the fumes of the furnace.” [Bukhari, Muslim] |
Narrated by Abu Huraira: The Prophet (sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam) said, "The young should greet the old, the passer by should greet the sitting one, and the small group of persons should greet the large group of persons." [Bukhari, Volume 8, Book 74, Number 250] |
