congoshine:Its all a test like Sweetnecta mentioned. Remember our logic/knowledge is very minimal compared to Allah's knowledge. We might not grasp the whole matter because we are limited in all aspects. But our Creator is not bound by any limits. This is why we should have Faith in our Creator and Trust the Almighty Allah. Remember some children when they are young they just hate going to school and studying for the exams. They just cannot understand why in the world their parents won't let them play all the time. At that age it seems to defy logic. But when we grow up we are grateful that our parents did not neglect the importance of our education. It is because of their years of persistence that we now have a degree. The difference between the Parent and the small kid's logic is huge. So imagine how infinite the difference between our logic and our Creator's logic will be. So it will be difficult for us to completely grasp the reason behind everything, But since He is our Creator we should have Faith in him. Allah knows best. "It could be that you dislike something, when it is good for you; and it could be that you like something when it is bad for you. Allah knows, and you do not know." (Quran: Al Baqarah) |
congoshine:For not obeying Him. Especially for not accepting His oneness. Our Creator is extremely superior over us. One should accept his Oneness and Obey his commands. But even if we accept his Oneness we should refrain from disobeying him. But Allah forgives if we repent sincerely out of guilt, out of the love of our Creator. Sometimes even without repentance Allah might forgive because his Mercy is vast. The only thing that Allah does not forgive without repentance is Shirk(associating partners with him). But once one stops it and repents sincerely Allah will forgive, because He looks directly into our hearts and will know if we are sincere or not. The Creator is so Merciful that He gives sustenance even to the ones who disobey Him. We all die. But we will be resurrected and congregated for Questioning on the Day of Judgment. It is to pass this Judgment that one should strive to obey The Creator. |
You can choose your Path. But don't forget one day we all will be Judged, whether you wanna stay in Denial or not, it wont matter coz it won't change the truth. |
"ALLAH has created the angels from intellect but He did not place lust in them, He created animals with lust but did not place intellect in them, but He placed both intellect & lust in humans, therefore he whose intellect overcomes his lust is greater than the angels & he whose lust overcomes his intellect is lower than animals." [Ali Ibn Abi Thalib (R.A)] |
Sayyidina Abu Huraira (RA) reported that the Prophet (saw) said, “If a man removes a difficulty out of a Muslim’s worldly difficulties, then Allah will remove from him a difficulty of the difficulties on the day of resurrection and if anyone makes it easy for a hard-pressed in this world, then Allah will make it easy for him in this world and the next, and if anyone conceals a Muslim’s faults in this world, then Allah will conceal his faults in this world and the next. Indeed, Allah continues to help the slave as long as the slave continues to help his brother." [Bukhari 2442] |
It is basically simple, Allah will test us with calamities and hardships. Just like you have to write an exam to get a Degree. Its a test. There will be easy question, difficult questions, tricky questions etc. Similarly Life is a big test. "Or do you think that you will enter Paradise while such [trial] has not yet come to you as came to those who passed on before you? They were touched by poverty and hardship and were shaken until [even their] messenger and those who believed with him said, "When is the help of Allah?" Unquestionably, the help of Allah is near." (Quran 2:214) But Help comes from Allah, "Verily, with hardship there is relief" (Qur'an 94:6) And the reward is great for the ones who persevere, "Peace be upon you, because you peresevered in patience! Excellent indeed is the final home!" (Qur'an 13:24) congoshine: |
"The sign of loving Allahu ta’âlâ much is to love remembering Him." [Ibni Shâhin] "The more Knowledge you have, the greater will be your fear of Allah." [Abu Bakr (RA)] |
azharuddin:This too bro. |
They long to extinguish Allah’s light (Islam) with their mouths, but Allah will surely perfect His light— however hateful (it may be) to the unbelievers. [Quran 61:8] |
@jarus Bro take a look at the complaints thread please. |
Importance of Patience Todays topic was Patience. The Imam said we modern Muslims are not experiencing even a part of the Pain and tribulation the Sahaba went through. But still we are impatient. The Imam quoted Umar ibn Al Kattab (ra) : (the following is from my recollection forgive me for my mistakes) : If I am experience difficulty and hardship, I am happy for three things- 1. That the hardship did not fall on my Imaan, instead its on only worldly matters; 2. Someone else is undergoing even a tougher trail, and I am better off with this smaller difficulty; 3. If I am patient while this hardship falls on me, Allah will give me its benefit in the Akhirah. I would also like to add that He mentioned the importance of saying 'Inna lillahi wainnailayhi raajeeoon' (We belong to Allah and to Him we shall return) . He said it is mentioned in the Quran that a true beliver will be patient and say 'Inna lillahi wainnailayhi raajeeoon' when difficulty strikes. And Also quoted that when a small child dies Allah will ask the Angels what the parent is doing. Then the Angels will reply that the Parent is saying 'Inna lillahi wainnailayhi raajeeoon'. Then Allah will order the Angels to build a house in Heaven called 'Baytul Hamd' for that parent who showed patience. |

The Prophet (peace be upon him) said: "The best among you are those who treat their wives in the best manner." - (Al-Tirmidhi) |
"Son of Adam, you are nothing but days. And whenever a day passes by, a part of you passes away." [Hasan al-Basri] |
Sayyidina Abdullah ibn Umar reported that the Prophet (SAW) said, "the supplication that receives the quickest answer is that of an absent person for an absent person." [Tirmidhi 1987] |
"Truly in the heart there is a sadness that can not be removed except with the happiness of knowing Allah and being true to Him. And in it there is an emptiness that can not be filled except with love for Him and by turning to him and always remembering Him. And if a person were given all of the world and what is in it, it would not fill this emptiness." ~Ibn al Qayyim (rahimahullaah) |
SubhanAllah! I wish I had atleast a small part of his devotion to Allah. We lack such sincerity. |
"When Allah ta’ala wishes to accept the dua of a person, He grants a person the taufeeq (inclination) of making that du'a ." [ Shaykh Hajee Farooq ] |

Sayyidina Jabir (RA) reported that Allah’s Messegner (SAW) said, ‘If anyone has three characteristics, Allah will raise him by His side (in His protection) and admit him to Paradise. They are: being mild to the weak, being kind to parents and being kind to slaves.” [Thirmidhi 2502] |
"Don't let your difficulties fill you with anxiety, after all, it is only in the darkest nights that stars shine most brilliantly." ('Ali ibn Abi Talib [ra]) |
"Relieve yourself of worry after you have planned; do not concern yourself with what Allah has undertaken on your behalf ." [ Ibn Ata’illah ] |
Abu Huraira narrated, The Prophet (saw) said: “Avoid that which I forbid you to do and do that which I command you to do to the best of your capacity. Verily the people before you were destroyed only because of their excessive questioning and their disagreement with their Prophets.” (Bukhari) |
.Ibn Ka’b ibn Maalik Ansari (R.A) reported from his father that Allah’s Messenger (SAW) said, “Two hungry wolves sent to sheep do not cause more destruction than a man’s greed for property and honour causes to his religion.” [Ahmed 15784] |
"No amount of guilt can change the past & no amount of worrying can change the future. Go easy on yourself, for the outcome of all affairs is determined by Allah's decree. If something is meant to go elsewhere, it will never come your way, but if it is yours by destiny, from you it cannot flee." [Umar Ibn al-Khattab RadiyAllahu Anhu] |
Weekly reminder: Do not forget to recite Suratul Dhukhan today, remember we will get the prayer of 70,000 angels. The following recitation is only 7mins. 7min is a small time considering the fact we will get the prayer of 70,000 angels. May Allah give us the blessing to do more Ibadah. Ameen. ode remo:I think obeying Allah makes us a better human being. the Prophet (SAW) has said: “Without doubt, one, who is hard-hearted, is far away from Allah's mercy” (Abu Dawood). So it becomes an obligation of every God fearing Muslim to help a person lying on the road who had an accident. On another occasion Prophet (SAW) said: “One who doesn't love his younger and doesn't respect his elders, is not from us” (Tirmidhi). So imagine the importance of humanitarian consideration in Islam. But if you ve come accross a 'supposedly religious person' who causes trouble for others, then his 'religiousness' is in question. Alla knows best. May Allah include us of people who are good to others, and be merciful to us. Ameen. |
chakula:Assalamualaikum bro. The above mentioned is exactly the problem with us. We are blinded the money n comfort of the world. May Allah give us the Toufeeq to follow the Sunnah as much as possible. Ameen. |
We don't even know if he was the mastermind behind the killings. It was the American government that declared him as responsible. I don't trust them completely, well I don't trust any Government for that matter. Now back to the topic, Allah is so Merciful that he may forgive any Sin except 'Shirk' ( associating partners with Allah). But even 'Shirk' will be forgiven if one repents sincerely and comes to Allah's Path. On the contrary, Even after doing lots of worship if a person does Sins like troubling ones neighbour with his/her tongue Allah may punish the person regardless. So the bottomline is we do not know what All Usama Bin Laden did. Only Allah the Almighty knows the complete picture, and it is for him to decide. He may or may not Forgive him. He is the ultimate Judge, But remember he is the most Merciful too. And for us to speculate on his Judgment is a bit far-fetched and pointless. Say: O My servants who have transgressed against their own souls, despair not of the mercy of Allah. Indeed, Allah forgives all sins. Truly, He is Most Forgiving, Most Merciful. (Surah az-Zumar 39:53) May Allah save us from the torment of Hell fire. Ameen. |
