Not as funny as you think, I was thinking 9% should be the interest rate but after reading the information below which makes me think differently now, which is why I am asking someone to explain better.

inze: No offense but if you had invested 1hour or less to read through the thread, you'd not need to ask any question at all.
Nevertheless, see below for calculation to the best of my understanding.
9% of 500k over 77days investment period sums up to:
9/100 = 0.09
multiplied but 500k = 45,000
The said 45k is supposed to be your interest if you had invested for 365days.
Now divide 45k by 365 to get interest rate per day = 123.287
interest rate per day multiplied by number of days invest for = 123.287*77 = 9493.150
Interest = 9493.150
Am sorry i had to go all elementary on this so you can understand it better.

I need a thorough explanation in calculating the interest amount for 5Million @ 9% Interest rate, I want to know how much exactly I am to receive as interest for 91days maturity.

@azpunpin, I really can't say why your package is being held up, as I also sunmitted on the 10th and mine was ready since 24th, but u knw up till now I have not gotten any text from VFS office or the UPS guyz, just saw one funny msg on my status abt my processd visa delivered and I just went straignt to UPS office.and got it myself. My guess is maybe they are making some enquiries on ur docs, or there myt be a mixup sumwhr, if ur schls start date is close maybe you should send them an email..am sure it will be out soon.

awistle: Finally got my visa dis evening, just went to BHC office at ikeja just to check if it was dere and there it was my passport lying dere and my tracking hasnt even changed at all frm visa fowarded to BHC. Next stop Manchester, Uni of Salford!

I also submitted on the 10th of September but it has not changed yet. I will have to be at their office by Wednesday because tomorrow is Naija @53.

I have couple of questions to ask

1. My school will resume by September and I am yet to apply for my Visa due to the fact that I just get the funds which was to be lodge for 28days.
I just got 2m out of 4.3m. Hopefully to get the rest before the end of the week. I want to know if it wont be too late for my visa application?

2. Can the funds be lodge into my account by anyone?

3. If the funds complete before the week runs out, will they start counting from the day the funds complete ? Or from today that 2m was lodge into my account?

4. I hope it wont be too late for my visa application because of the 28days funds lodgement as I am to resume by September?
