As a child,my dad use to say to me and my siblings that he is scared of the future. As a curious child I would always ask why?And he would respond "I built this house from my allowances at work but now I doubt if there are companies whom it's management still concerns it self about their staff's welfare" truly I didn't understand then but I understand now.

Should I start with the contract staff issues adopted by the organisation now,or the devilish outsourcing staff issues.
I have no problem with an individual been employed as a contract staff provided he will later be considered as a full staff based on performance, academic upgrade or job experience. But alas! the management will bring their 20years old cousin into the organisation as your boss and you will still be told to train him or her.So the question is on what basis was he or she made a staff when he or she has no experience while you have gained years of experience and have given your best to the organisation with the hope that you will be staffed after performance appraisal is done. This is a moral and and confidence killer.

But that is not as worse as the outsourcing firms who milk off graduate because they connected them to an organisation who currently has vacant positions. This outsourcing firm collects a certain percentage from an individual's takehome every month. The question is for what? If the organisation I work for can afford to pay one hundred thousand naira to the outsourcing firm whom will in turn remit seventy thousand naira to me why can't the organisation just pay me the one hundred thousand naira to me directly.
This is the trend with most organisation now especially banks and financial technology companies. This is Morden slavery
I have being working at a financial technology company for almost 5years now and the outsourcing firm whom I'm attached to as been earning form my salary since then. Every blessed month I sweat and work my ass off while they just sit there and take from my money for doing nothing (monkey dey work baboon dey chop).
I call on the Nigerian Labour Congress (NLC) if they still exist to fight for the rights of Labour and not just petrol prices. To aggressively fight to end this Mordern slavery.
I call on the Economic and financial crimes commission (EFCC) and Independent corrupt practice commission(ICPC) to call on the outsourcing firms to come and justify why they take money from individuals for so many years.
For so long the graduates of this country has endured and toiled in absolute silence. Please save our soul. cry cry
