Politics › Re: Photo Of Jonathan Waiting For Oba Of Benin In His Palace. (picture) by Baawaa(m): 3:35pm On Jul 04, 2012
Theblessed: Well for some, it looks funny and for sensitive others, it's disgraceful/pitiful!

Actually, it was the Oba that disrespected himself, really.

Nigerian politics did not start with Jonathan and won't end with him either as future Head of State had actually, drawn from this incident. By acting this way, the Oba only showed his immaturity and lack of diplomacy as a leader and I query is ability to lead his people.

From this attitude, he'd be so lucky to get more Presidential respect/visits in the future especially, from future Presidents. He'd be so lucky if they ever ring his 'BELL' in life again because, respect they say, is reciprocal or let me simply say, give and take/receive
!
the last phrase has no meaning to the Oba because he is not a politician

Zeddicus: Seriously. Everyone is preaching the 'stay at home' message but am not buying it yet. If you are scared of BH bombings in the church and sit at home, Will you also sit at home during the weekdays?
I stayed on the queue for 5 minutes last sunday (Living faith) but it won't deter me. If am not meant to die by bomb blast i wont!
For the atheists, stick to your beliefs while we stick to ours just as the ogboni and juju guys will stick to theirs too! Whatever works for you, go on with it and shut up!
You make me believe the picture partially
Before he failed the presidential election, how many of the past govt. did openly criticized openly. Wasn't he into ministry when Abacha virtually preyed on all responsible Nigerians who attempt to resist his brutal rule? If he is a minister, let return to God for direction.... I rest my case.
How old are you huh huh

Christianity Etc › Re: “ GEJ To Bankrupt Nigeria” Sermon: Police Looking For Pastor Bakare by Baawaa(m): 9:53am On Jun 29, 2012
Spirit of Okija: When he lands, he should be taken off of the plane, dragged through the airport like a common crook (which he is) so everyone can see him as an example and driven off in a Black Maria in the full glare of the Public.. If he resists, any Police man with a 9mm Beretta or even an AK-47 service rifle should hit him in the face with the butt of the gun.. Then he should be taken and thrown in Jail with hardened criminal (preferably the Boko Haram suspects) for 24hrs.. Then he should be Questioned and charged to court for slander, conspiracy to incite violence and defamation of character..

Its time to start teaching these fools how to talk... Thats how every year during Obasanjos Regime, this faaggot kept predicting the death of the President..

Time to show him that he isnt above the law and God cant save him when the government comes for him..
Ur brother GEJ cannot do it

Sports › Re: 2014 WC Qualifier : Malawi Vs Nigeria (1 - 1) On June 9 2012 by Baawaa(m): 8:36am On Jun 11, 2012
ahidjo: It just beats me how people begin to analyze a game they did not watch. A game that was haphazardly run by BBC (about 10 lines of live commentaries-no line-ups, no substitutions) and MTN (better but still poorly done) can not be used to judge the performance of the team. I do not know where this idea that Super Eagles must win every game and by wide margin came from. No team in the history of soccer has ever done that. I do not also know where the idea that teams, no matter how good they are cannot concede goals any time (1st to 90something minute. ) That is the game of soccer. Even the first and the best Super Eagles squad of 93 had to wait till the final whistle to qualify for US 94. It was a draw and we were under incredible pressure for most part of the last 20 minutes. What were fans doing. They were on their knees praying for them. On the road to the finals, they lost to Ivory Coast. They did not win all their matches. Did they? Things have changed. It is a reflection of lack of respect for other teams and ignorance that pushes us into believing that we can easily beat any team anywhere these days. It is realistically impossible. This is the main reason we drew with Guinea, a team we knew little or nothing about, a team we hitherto chose to ignore at our peril, a team I consider one of the most dangerous teams in Africa today. The result- we lost out in the qualification series for 2012 AFCON. I remain one of those that believe that Siasia's sacking remained one of the most foolish sporting decisions we ever took. However, after carefully watching the video of Keshi's new home boys a number of times, I have come to believe, that they must be given a chance because of their tendency to fight for the ball from start to finish unlike some of our so-called regulars that stroll on the pitch in times of danger. We must learn to be patriotic and support the national teams and make constructive criticisms when the need arises. Let us give the Super eagles the kind of Support we give to Chelsea, Man United even when they do not play well and particularly when we gain nothing form such foreign teams. I reserve my comment on today's game until I watch the full video of the game. That, to me, is a rational and sensible thing to do!
Thank you for acknowledge this.
Politics › Re: PDP May Lose Aso Rock If CPC & ACN Merge by Baawaa(m): 4:53pm On Jun 08, 2012
ObamaUS: The bitter truth is that there is no merger that can stop tge evil pdp merceneries.
Nigerians vote on sentiments and they will still end up voting for jonah.
Besides, pdp has the police, army and the thugs in their payroll.Nigeria is on a long thing.
ONLY A MILITARY COUP,A SOLDIER WITH A GOOD HEART CAN SALVAGE AND SAVE OUR NATION.
We wer in this country when fashola fired 738 doctors and many lives were lost and nothing was done to question him or make him accountable.
ACN will do worse than pdp jare.
only coup will save.
Minus me,even the one i gave him on 2011 i want to collect it back grin grin grin
Politics › Re: 14 Years Since Abacha Departed: Drop A Message by Baawaa(m): 2:46pm On Jun 08, 2012
Alxmyr: I now believe those that said majority of people protesting MAULAG are kids when the struggle was on.
How on earth will anyone compare Abacha regime with anything that we have together?
In the first place, if Abacha was alive, do anyone one of you think you will have the gut to post anything online about GOVERNMENT?
Some people said there is development because of PTF; if Abacha had done the roads with PTF would we still be having problem with roads?
If he had raised our electricity generation to 20,000MW, would we be struggling with poor electricity supply?
During Abacha regime, even civil servant of level 14 cannot pay house rents?
Some body pointed out economic development; which economy? CBN sold USD for N22 to Abacha families and cronies, every other persons buy USD for 80 to 90 Naira.
Somebody mention fuel increment: I laugh in Japanese. Abacha regime brought toxic fuel into Nigeria. That was the time we were buying fuel that knocks engines from filling stations.
Who on earth will praise Ababcha?
Many are crucifying Obj for third term; Abacha was on the verge of becoming life president. And there is no one that has the audacity to confront him.
So,where is Abacha today?
What are you people talking about.
Politics › Re: 14 Years Since Abacha Departed: Drop A Message by Baawaa(m): 2:28pm On Jun 08, 2012
Alxmyr: When you say it was better, can you please be specific?
In what regards. Is it health, education, security, electricity generation, freedom of speech....just be specific and lets not make blanket statements.
Yes it was better than now!!The health sector was better then, the security was better(They killed themselves not the masses)Electricity was better then. And mind you,it only politicians that will say Abacha regime is not better than what we have now
Politics › Re: 14 Years Since Abacha Departed: Drop A Message by Baawaa(m): 2:20pm On Jun 08, 2012
With the present condition of this country,Abacha was not the problem of this country then...Because i dont really see the different between the Abacha regime and the present one,but i can say that during Abacha a litre of petrol was 11naira and 1dollar was 65naira.

Politics › Re: How Best To Honour Abiola - Bola Tinubu by Baawaa(m): 3:45pm On Jun 01, 2012
djustice: I will say it anywhere and anyday. Bola Tinubu was a traitor to NADECO and a double-agent for Abacha, along with his bosom friend, James Ibori, the man who assisted in killing Rewane. Bola worked for Abacha throughout, and quickly moved in to benefit from his eventual death. he is a traitor and will die a useless and disgraced man. Mark my words. Those who know, know.
My friend stop this rubbish, just exposing how childish you are.Tinubu is not a saint, but saying Tinubu is a traitor to NADECO,sold Abiola is a white lie.You PDP should strategies another means to nail this than all this rubbish you are saying. As far as Lagos-State is concerned no more PDP
