Praying and hoping it gets better.

Good afternoon everyone.

Please I am asking for a friend.

He tried to apply for his study permit through the new portal and after uploading his documents, he was taking to payment session but was not with his card to make payment thus he decided to close the page. Later when he was ready to make payment, he realized his application status has been pending and he could not proceed. It is 2 days already and the page is still like that.

Should he start another application since he did not receive any email confirming submission and he did not make payment yet.

Kindly advise, this is urgent.

Thank you.

Travel gist.

So at the Toronto airport I got my study permit in like 15 mins. The guy asked me for my arrive can, my letter of introduction, my LOA from my school, my proof of payment and also asked me for proof of funds. I provided everything.
He gave me my study permit and gave me a number to call to extend my permit if I want to stay longer.

It was very simple and easy.

If you have any questions you can ask me.

Congratulations bro., may Canada favour you.

Please how much proof of funds did you show the guy? Was it cash?

How do I beg Trade monitoring system to debit me because I’m tired of waiting,my school gave me another two weeks again, pls how long does it normally takes ? I used access bank

You will need to take copies of your BSc certificate, Marriage Certificate if married, NYSC, a printed copy from Trade system in coloured, Passport bio data page to the bank (Access Bank) for sight seeing. Plead with the person in charge of the bank's foreign transaction to help you quickly process it.

Also check on Trade System to be sure it has been approved for disbursement. You will see ADB Review

Hope this helps

Hello guys, I’m trying to pay tuition using the form A.

At first when trying to register, it was saying BVN not linked to Email.

I’ve been to the bank to complain, but now the error message I’m getting is “BVN is invalid”

Please how do I solve this

Please go to the main bank you did your BVN and be sure your BVN is linked to the account you want to use on Trade System. Tell the Customer Service person to link your email and phone number to your BVN. Give a day and try it one more time.

Did you succeed in paying because I need guidance, the link is rejecting every BVN I've used

Quickly go to the bank you did your BVN, they will give you form to fill. Tell them you want to link your email and phone number to your BVN. The next day, open the link and input your BVN again and it will go through.

Hope this helps

Religion / Re: How I Ended Up As A Mathematics Professor - Pastor Enoch Adeboye by BabaDelta1: 3:55pm On Feb 09, 2022
I am a member of RCCG and truth is, I am not pleased with some things about the church. Just yesterday, I dropped my resignation letter because of some sharp practices which bothers on finance.

I was planning to draft an open letter to Pastor E A Adeboye when I saw this post.

70% of parish offerings, tithes and donations goes to the Head Quarter (remittance) leaving the parish with like 30% to pay rent, utility bills etc which will definitely not be enough to sustain the parish before the next remittance. This is an act I strongly frown at because same members that contributed what was taking to National will be the same people to contribute to foot pending bills, making many to question what their tithe and offering is being used for.

Not only that, I don't feel comfortable giving Pastors envelope during Let's go a fishing. The pastors are being delegated to visit newly planted parishes and when they are leaving, they give then envelope which to me is wrong.

During Covid 19 no movement, same National that 70% of what parishes make goes to did not reach out to their members (palliatives) at Parish level, it is the same parish members who always contribute that put heads together to reach out to the less privileged ones amongst them. What then is National using all the funds sent to them for?

A brother in my local parish who is just managing to survive as a youth (Barber) was hit by stray bullet. He is a worker, letter was written to the Head Quarter for financial assistance but the request was turned down. Instead, head quarter said his picture should be uploaded online for financial assistance from unknown people. This is a brother that needed urgent financial help to save his life. So many other request turned down, making members to question why so much is being sent to national and when help is needed, national turns its back at members who out of the little they have always contribute and send it across.

With all due respect sir, RCCG need to put a lot of things in place. welfare to members is zero.

It is also very frustrating how members manage to contribute money to build church and when assistance is needed from national, they tell them to go bring statement of account showing a certain percentage before they can help. Even when they meet up with the certain percentage, it is no guarantee that the remaining balance will be provided by national.

I am particularly not happy with that arrangement of sending 70% generated from parishes to national and will greatly appreciate if this is looked into.

I do not mean any disrespect neither is it targeted at rubbishing the man of God nor the church but I just don't feel comfortable with that practice and many members are complaining even though they fear to speak out so they don't tag them as Judas Iscariot.

I wish this gets to Pastor Adeboye so that corrections can be made where necessary and for the work of God to move smoothly without people grumbling.

Thank you.
Family / Re: So I Am Getting A Divorce... How Do I Adjust? by BabaDelta1: 2:00pm On Jan 08, 2022
Dear Madam,

I salute your courage and my sincere wish for you right now is grace and wisdom to move on and train your children in the fear of God.

Let me share my story with you maybe that will be of little help to you and other readers.

I married my Ex at age 27 as a virgin. We met when I was invited to his church as a guest minister to train his church choir. Everything seem okay not until he suddenly resigned from his place of work (bank) without any form of explanation as to what led to his decision. For peace to reign, I stopped asking him and made up my mind to take charge of caring for the family.

Hubby became a chronic womanizer and from a church minister he became a gambler and gradually started avoiding church.

A lot really happened but what finally caused our separation was the fact that he did secret wedding with my best friend who is a widow. On the day of their wedding, I was the one that opened our house gate for hubby and when he was about driving out, he asked " What about your friend, hope you still here from her?' I replied, yes she's fine and he said I should greet her when next I hear from her not knowing he was going to wed her. Same friend whose wedding to her late husband I was the lead vocal of all the songs in the church and Reception. Her late parents and mine were good friends and we were in the same church choir for 10 years before I got married and left the church. My so called friend was the one that came to stay with me when I had my first baby because my mum was ill at that time and my then mother in-law was no more. Same friend that will wake me up late at night that we should pray, same friend that frowns at me putting on any dress or skirt below my knees did secret wedding with my hubby.

It was more painful when I got to know they lied to the church that joined them that I was late and that my children are with my mum.

Please note, I did not do any wrong to hubby even till this very moment neither did I frustrate him when he was out of job. He knows how much I earn, I was 100% faithful, I respect him a lot and I don't spend without taking permission from him despite the fact that it was my money.

I also need to mention that after my National Diploma, then hubby has a BSc and he wanted to go for his Masters. Because of limited funds, I agreed to hold on and continue working while I singlehandedly sponsored his Masters program till finish and during this period, he was also defrauding me and used my money to sponsor a lady with two kids through school.

I decided to move on with my life when I finally got to know about his secret wedding to my so called bestie. The betrayal from the two of them almost cost me my life. I cry morning, afternoon and night. I cried not because he got married but because he did it with my bestie that is like a sister. I was more shattered because they both lied I was dead. More still, I was devastated because he was out of job for many years and I have been the one caring for the family, rent, school fees, utility bills, clothing him and children's school fees leaving me to wonder where he got money to do wedding.

I attempted suicide twice because the shock was too much for me to bear and I was also concerned about what people will say knowing I was a committed sister in the church and also in my family.

Much later I decided to move on because of my children and the fact that I can't afford to hurt God. It was not easy for me but then, God proved Himself mightily in my life.

I became more dedicated to the work of God, I became EXTREMELY STRICT to men's advances and concentrated more on my children and job. I enrolled for more professional courses, went back for my BSc and Masters and today the rest is story.

Now I can look back and give glory to God Almighty for how far He has helped me. My children are doing excellently well in their studies, they have everything at their comfort and we are more than comfortable.

It was not easy I must confess especially when nature calls but I was strong willed not to disappoint God and my children. I did all I could to be a good role model to them and I don't say evil things to them about their dad despite the fact that he was not giving me a dime to fend for them till date. My second child was not up to a year when we separated and today, she is all grown and my son is now in one of the best Secondary school doing excellently well academically and moral wise.

By the grace of God, I and my children will be relocating to Canada soonest for further studies and my wedding is around the corner.

Learnt my Ex and Bestie are now divorced.

Op, key notes for you

- Move more closer to God
- Concentrate more on your children, job or business
- Mind what you do before your children, brace up to play father and mother role
- Avoid bitterness and do not speak ill of your ex to your children.
- Develop thick skin because friends, church members and associates will mock you but when they later see you succeed, all will be a thing of the past.
- Do not rush to get married again, easy does it.
- Work on past mistakes
- If you can afford it, travel out of the country with your children
- Try as much as possible to raise Godly children.

If there is still room for reconciliation between you and your hubby, please embrace peace and if not, I wish you the very best.
