Nuezha: I got a job like that sometimes in 2009 at a consulting firm in Kaduna. I was placed on 2 months probation period with a salary of 50k, and was housed in a 2bed paid for and furnished by the firm.
But after the 2 months I got another letter extending the probation by another 2 month. I replied the letter and rejected the extension. I WAS LET GO. I have no regret at all for my action.
Accept the offer, do your best to impress your employer but don't become a victim of modern slavery. Thanks bro |

Mixty: Most, if not all corporate companies have standard probationary period, it could be 3 months, 6 months, 1 year and even for some banks 2 years. Though the terms and conditions differ (some pay full salary, some pay percentage of your salary, some withhold some bonuses, etc), notwithstanding they still give probationary period. If you like the organization, I will advise you accept it. But you may want to ask them now what their full terms and pay package entails after confirmation of your employment. Thanks so much |

Hedonistically: Only a certain kind of man puts up with a cheating girlfriend. Sorry to say but it's not the kind of man any man should be proud of.
Nothing wrong with a cheating side chick or Bleep buddy or booty call.. That's part of the no strings attached unwritten rule. But a cheating girlfriend with the heavy commitment burden? Nope. You don't put up with that, unless you have no option. And if you have no option, then she would easily see through you and recognise what you are.. . A thoroughly inferior beta male. Funny you, is that your own way of reasoning? You don't even know what is involve(terms n conditions)... if u say so |

That's how I trusted my gf until she confessed to me that she cheated on me during my NYSC program...though we are still dating because I forgv her but mehn my trust level for her is 0.00, though I gave her another benefit of doubt and if she act normal I will promote her benefit of doubt to confidence but as for me trusting her I don't think so...
what I'm trying to say is that you give people benefit of doubt to make them happy n loved, when they act well you build confidence in them... at a point u can decide to put your trust in/on them but that's up to you... Benefit of doubt => Confidence => Trust |

justli: Optimistic comment from all. At least we can all be serious for once. Again, good everyone agrees IT is the way forward. But there's a cliche'. Most young graduates would tend to look this way as a means to an end, then you will hear people make comments like can I learn enough Neyworking in 6 months? Or can I become a programmer in 6 months....
Not wanting to scare you, but there is a reason good programmers, web developers, data analyst, software designers are in short supply. The trade is hard (no sugar coating this)
You don't dabble into this as per hobbying. You go into it whole hog like your life depended on it. You don't think 6 months, but let's say within a year of serious study, you may have made it to an intermediary state. Then your journey begins
Learning in this field is never ending. But the thrill and excitement is super rewarding. With all these said, if you think you can commit just two hours everyday with eyes glued to your screen for the next 2,3 years, then this is for you.
To get started, don't waste your time on roadside training, they are too watery and offer no value for money paid. Instead, explore courses on udacity, coursera, edx, udemy for absolute free. Make quora and stackoverflow your next love and in no time, you'll find your rythm.
Welcome onboard. Bro good pm, pls i will be rounding up my service soon, I am the first son of my parents and in my late 20s. I dont have much idea about ICT except when I typed my project with microsoft word, and do all these social media thing... Please from your humble heart, which one will you advice me to go for(I studied Ind. Chem) and what do u think will be the cost and time duration(I am a fast learner)... |

EkoAcademy: First of all, your grammar is catastrophic. It's "do your words make sense?" and not "does your words". "Do" for plural nouns, "does" for singular nouns. A secondary school leaver knows that, not to mention a "university graduate". Orishirishi graduates in Nigeria.
Last I checked, a honours degree and an ordinary bachelor's degree was the topic of debate here. Not the conditions under which Nigeria awards honours. There is a clear difference between both. Also, the person I corrected mentioned that a*** honour is only attached to your degree when you spend no more than four years (not based on grade) otherwise show us where that was mentioned in your Wikipedia text. By the way, anyone can edit facts on Wikipedia, it doesn't pass through thorough scrutiny. So in case you wanna support your argument further please add your point to the wiki article, who uses wikipedia as a valid reference anyways?
There is such a thing as honours degree and a regular degree. The difference between both is the number of credits and the former usually carries more credits than the latter, quote me anywhere. You can stick to your opinion and Nigerian system, it's a free world. irstly, I made a mistake which nobody is above but I want to put little knowledge into your brain. .. There is nothing like a honour, it is an honours, or just honours... That is why it is written as hons and not Hon in short form. just because H is the first letter doesn't mean you will attach a* to it, it is an honours |

EkoAcademy: Maybe you should do your research before thinking you have any clue. A Honours degree is clearly different from an ordinary degree and the difference is the course load. A honours degree program has its title clearly spelled out during application, especially for British universities, same thing applies to certain Nigerian degrees which is usually visibile in the UTME Brochure. Just so sad that despite the level of education in this country, a lot of people depend on recycled information and not what is genuine. Google is your friend oga and please do not quote me anymore. Thanks. you're just convincing yourself. .. listen to yourself does your words make sense... in the same department some people will do some course and some won't do it especially when it's a compulsory/core course... my friend in every university there is a certain or definite course unit or point you must have to become a graduate... your performance or spill over determines Honors in degree... see that pic, that if from Google precisely Wikipedia
