BabajhideySammy: I did my medicals on the 14th of October in Abuja, I haven’t heard from IOM to confirm they have submitted my medicals, haven’t heard from IRCC as well, I’ve been trying to reach IOM Abuja but the number they have online is switched off. Anyone knows how I can reach them to at least know if it has been submitted, I’ve seen most people here that did medicals same day as me have theirs updated as passed already. Anyone here has Abuja IOM contact please, it’s almost the 30days period IRCC gave me and I haven’t heard from them to even confirm they’ve submitted, the numbers they have online seems to be switched off |

Romoke1995: Thanks so much Yes I called their results department and they said it will be sent out soon Hi, if you don’t mind me asking how do you get on to the results department. I had mine done on Thursday and I haven’t heard anything from them saying they’ve sent it to IRCC or nothing on my application page from IRCC either. |

SweetJJ: Thanks
The two choices are yours to decide! You can wait it out, till when the hospital sends to IRCC and they will update your application. Alternatively, you can send the e-medical slip the hospital gave you through webform. In any case, it may still take a while for IRCC to update it in your portal since you just did the medicals today. No need to panic. Las Las it will be updated! |

Hi people, I had my medicals done today after it was requested for, I was given an information sheet should I raise a web form for it despite that the status has “Incomplete” on it or I should just wait for them upload on IRCC and let IRCC do the needful? |

BabajhideySammy: I was asked to upload my updated letter of admission which I did, are they going to send me a confirmation mail because when I upload it all I saw was “submitted to IRCC”. However, on my page it still says review of additional documents. “We need additional documents”. Anyone please answer |

Anon123: How did you send it?
Webform or email?
With this, it means your visa will likely be approved. Webform. |

Adekemiejiro: Please I need some clarification, sending my appeal letter to Abuja, do I need to pay the courier service for delivery and return..I mean In and Out. Yes, you pay that when sending the document and they put a prepaid envelope inside the document when sending it to Abuja, so they can use that to return your documents |

Good evening all,
Please I need advice. I want to go ahead and pay for my edubond but I want to pay from an account that was opened in July this year because my sponsor knows someone that works in the bank and would help out in doing everything without having to go to bank so when he pays we go ahead and print the 3months statement along side her GT statement, the 6months statement for the GT can be gotten via phone call without having to visit the bank. Is it possible to go ahead with the 3months statement and the six months GT statement or I just transfer the money to GT and face the stress of paying from GT? |

obenjamin: I think your sponsors account is just an added advantage since you are going for the edubond, but your sponsor should be able to show that he can cater for your living expense for subsequent years of your programme, so I think having any amount more than 7000 euro isnt bad.... |

Dwebb55: After paying the bond, the sponsor is required to still have enough funds to cater for themselves and their families. A fair estimate is an extra €3000 for the sponsor for upkeep! Thank you very much. |

If one goes for the edubond option, how much is required to be left in the sponsor’s account? |

Dwebb55: Most if not all visa decisions are posted on the weekly decisions list released weekly. Appeals are definitely posted on the list. Try and check it for the last 3-4 weeks Thank you |

Sarina6002: Rent.ie, daft.ie and property.ie will hardly reply your message (even Europeans complain about that as well) and some of my friends even say if you manage to get viewings, they may be very racists or picky and say we will get back to you, property.ie are for people looking to buy not rent.
My advice will be, there is a Facebook group where houses, apartments, rooms and space are advertised by landlords or care takers who are looking for students to rent their place. Check it out and everyday you see people posting ads to rent their place. All the best . Oh, thank you very much for this info. Will look for those groups, if you also names of such grou I’ll appreciate it if you can share then with me. Thanks |

Sarina6002: I am here in Ireland now. to be honest you will have to wait until july to get a full understanding of what is going on, currently In Ireland we have a 21 days self isolation (not 14 days) but until 9th of July. The prime minister announced yesterday that there will be list of countries published that can come into Ireland without self isolation but the European Union will decide that.
As for hostel accommodation, they are closed until 29th June. In general 29th everything will be opened, we started with phase 1, 2 and 3 we have been successful with dealing the virus, cases for the last one month has been around 4-30 cases. So that’s why the economy will be opened on 29th.
On the accommodation you can get a place, from Nigeria but most landlords will first ask for deposits to keep the place. Thanks, the thing is most of the sites for accommodations are not opening here, rent.ie, property.ie |
