Sorry, is ur spouse a citizen or a PR holder? I guess that is the only way u can apply stating married in ur application. If not i guess your status should be single on ur application. Gurus in the house can help shed more light on this.

What is ur marital status on ur application? Married or single? Was it indicated that ur spouse is in canada? Pls I've someone in the same situation.

Knowing his yearly income will help us analyze this properly considering the fact that his kids come first before u. I can't say exactly his income as he is a biz man but going by his investments I knw financial burden can't be an issue in this case. He is well loaded. Prove of relationship is the issue here

Cherokee's delay just got me worried.
Cos I intend using my paternal uncle(a distance one) who doesn't share my surname as my sponsor. I grew knwing him as my dad's brother not same parent though and he's already sponsoring his kids in canada. My worry is how do I prove our relationship?

What evidence? Wat if the sponsor is a distance uncle or aunty who you don't share surname with? What evidence would they expect you to produce? Wedding cert & pics?

To the gurus inhouse. I've a salary acct which is not funded at all as I often withdaw all my salary and deposit it in my other acct. My question now is, which acct is best to use for my application? Or can I use both? Hw much is best to have for a self sponsor? And I also have another joint acct with some friends for biz purpose though we are still trying to build it. Can I use all 3 acct?

Hey guys,
Good to see some people are interested and working hard to come to Canada. I was born in Nigeria, but I grew up here in Toronto and also went through high school and university here (I've spent most of my life here but still visit naija yearly). Since I did not come through a study visa program I might not be able to of much help with applications but I might be able to give you some advice on things like the city, province, country, school life, work life and culture. I am an engineer aswell, I noticed a lot of people here are applying for engineering.
