My result for 9th January (General) L 7.5 R 8 W 7 S 7.5 What’s the possibility of getting an upgrade if I remark the listening? I believe I should score better. |

Good morning guys. My international passport has expired and I recently renewed it with the hope of updating my express entry profile with the new one but when I logged in I can't see any provision to update passport information. Is this normal or is it that I am not doing it the right way? |

Godtemi: Who is the PA? How old is your wife? I believe she is younger and since she has Masters, she is better as the PA. 452 is quite low in relation to the current CRS trend but that don't mean it isn't worth trying, there are other options you can explore such as PNP or learning French to boost your score(even those at 460s are learning French). A lot of patience and tenacity is required on this journey. And has for what to do next, you and your wife should take this time to prepare for IELTS while you wait for the outcome of your ECA. 2 Likes |

Hi folks, Can I change my wife's primary NOC to a 1 years experience she has from 2012 to 2013 as against her current NOC which is from 2013 till now? Our target is OINP as we just realized she has a chance with the 1 year experience which is on demand on OINP. |

Hi Fam, for those that have scored clb 9 or 10 in IELTS reading and listening. Do you consistently have that score why practicing? I have been preparing for the test and my score range is been between 35-37 for both modules. Although I occasionally fall short of clb 9 in listening i.e score 33 or 34 sometimes. Am I good to writing at this level? I am an accompanying spouse and clb 9 in all modules is my target. |

Chukwuemekatehi:Don't completely rely on practicing with ieltsonlinetest, it is good in terms of time management but their practice questions are full of errors. Use Cambridge materials, there are a ton of them on youtube. Just google "Cambridge general reading/listening test" on youtube. 2 Likes 1 Share |

asusfanatic:How is the additional 15 points possible? Thought one can't get more than 12 point if you don't get a CLB 7 across all modules? |

Debbieeeeeee:With good ielts score(max out), masters, age under 30, sibling in Canada and 2 years work experience will get you to 472 which is a good score. You might not even need to complete up to 3 years experience before you get ITA. Cheers!! 2 Likes |

Debbieeeeeee:Since you already have Masters, your diploma won't add any points. Diploma is only handy for someone who has just BSc. Work on upping your work experience to 3 years and with a good IELTS result, you are good to go. 1 Like 1 Share |

ladykilllar:This is not the reason for profile being ineligible. With a minimum of 6 in any of the ielts test sections, you should be eligible. Check that the POF that is quoted meets IRCC requirement. 1 Like |

Good morning fam! Having lost 5 points last week due to age and currently sitting at 462. We are now considering the TEF option to gain more points. Can anyone recommend a good online tutor? And also is 70k/month a realistic deal to pay a french tutor? |

NEROSKY: My school has sent my transcript since early March and the tracking number shared shows that it got to WES on the 11th of March. In fact my profile changed last month that they were reviewing my documents and that gave me high hopes but on 15th of this month they updated it again with NOT ACCEPTED and this ETX-NG thing. I have sent them mails twice with no feedback. Please how did you go about yours? Have they updated your profile again? |

Hi Fam, Is there anyone waiting on WES? It appears like WES isn't currently working with transcripts sent via courier as they are still requesting that transcript should be sent via ETX-NG. I know about 6 people who already sent their transcripts via courier and now hanging at this stage. Do I have to do the ETX-NG transcript processing as well or just wait until they acknowledge the one sent via courier? The annoying thing is that WES isn't responding to their DM and I learnt the ETX-NG is very slow. Please, anyone who has experienced this should shed light. |

Please be clear on using your PFA. Did you use 100% of the funds in the account or 25%? I'm aware that people can use just 25% of their PFA as that is what you will have access to when you quit your job. carissaa: |

You can send them a mail. If your spouse is not showing interest in writing ielts, you can apply as spouse unaccompanying, that way your CRS won't be impacted. Remicynt: |
