Politics › Please LAGOS Should Take Care Of The Environment by babasolution(op): 8:17pm On Jul 15, 2024 |
It is the least LAGOS can do,the environment is extremely dirty, there are a lot of homeless people on the streets, sleeping on the bare floor, lots of diseased peoples and mentally ill folks.
The state is in such bad shape especially the mainland, yet within this mainland there are enclaves of highbrow clean spaces and areas.
This discriminatory process is not convenient for everyone.
LAGOS needs to find a cheap way of cleaning the environment effectively without charging people much( as most lagosians live from hand to mouth).
The current early morning sweepers system is not working, it's not helping.
The major cause of the environment problem is the street sellers,Lagos as to find a way of dealing with Street sellers.
The state is a huge dump,a big mess
Sometimes, I wonder why the Yorubas are so jealous for LAGOS
Nigeria as a whole is terribly run and as been over the years.
If not every state should have ECONOMIC activities, and Lagos should be decongested |

What this people do not understand is that, it's their generation that live Nigeria so much,so they were fed by Nigeria from childhood in that generation, the younger generation sees things differently.
Their generation will eventually bow out, anything can happen with the younger generation.
They should just say Nigeria will remain indissoluble while they are alive that's all.
That can predict what will happen when they gone |

These are the usual politicians window dressing photos of never meant to be completed projects... & their party members palliative. As you will noticed, all these images were shot at a close ranges because the road around them are befitting for sightings... They are mostly abandoned projects & merely retouched for the photo purpose. Exactly, I live in the area ,nothing is being done |

The same Obi who fed fat during Abacha government while the masses groan under terror and fear.

Nigerian chose between Timubu, Obi and Atiku, will Obi have done better? Obi mostly likely would have done better, because he was pro people, he explained his policies, was down to earth, and was not an establishment candidate, this are enough signs to show, tinubu was elusive, elite oriented, was not pro people, didn't debate, these were bad signs already |

There was a time multinationals couldn't repatriate their money, but today, they all have access to repatriate their money without any issue The people aren't necessarily feeling this progress, cost of living is extremely high, what matters is the people not ECONOMIC indices that's my problem with the APC system, particularly the elite tinubu system, they aren't people oriented, this reflects in LAGOS so much |

Kobojunkie: Your folks are examples of typical Nigerians. I mean we have folks who equally say that Tinubu was a good governor during his 8 years in Lagos even when the records and present evidence reveal the opposite Same folks tell me TINUBU was bad,and I was very aware of that as an adult by then.so they likely know what they are talking about |
Politics › Tinubus Achieved Nothing In Lagos, So In Nigeria by babasolution(op): 1:30pm On Jul 13, 2024 |
Tinubu did little or nothing during his 8 year spell in Lagos.
TINUBU achievements are only in two general things 1. Building growing politicians that's why the politicians love him so much.
2. Sharing loot with his cronies, that's why they love him so much.
It doesn't look like he changed
LAGOS is not working, tinubus dynasty is killing Lagos not developing it.
LAGOS is still very very underdeveloped
Therefore, you don't need a soothsayer to tell you that TINUBU will achieve nothing as president other than building successive politicians and sharing federal money to his cronies.
There isn't going to be any big progress in Nigeria under TINUBU. The signs are already there. |
