The situation here still draws hope as far as regret mail hasnt been communicated. You can just still chill and anticipate but truth is you are two steps behind expectation for BHE experience invite.

so regret mail can come before deadline. I am just aware of my colleagues that applied and didn't receive any call for interview whatsoever since October.

Someone i know also till date has yet to be invited for interview. The waiting is more than 3wks now still no regret mail. Regret mails have since been on the roll on “yet to be invited for interview” group. So my thinking is, since we are now nearer to Dec 2, regret mails could now be bouncing/sifting “application is being considered” group.

Closing up this coming weekend, we are 8days to go!

So performing well in interview obviously would involve a lot of considerations. If that is the first-hand criterion for calling. Then am afraid people who had mentioned and talked about technical work experience pretty much related to Baker Hughes field practice/operations may be on first-class shortlist....every other would probably fall on economy list...mehn!!

So looking at it, its possible calls/emails start rolling in even before the deadline to prepare successful candidates ahead of the assessment activities.

Is it the same "Field Engineer" 2020 opportunities you applied for or Finance? Because from my understanding, the responsibilities outlined in the advert are typical for engineering and closely related + technically inclined applied science disciplines (. My opinion though.

Actually, what your status is saying is that, your application is still undergoing thorough sifting and its being matched with other applications. From my observation, your current status is such that takes a lengthy time (cannot precisely estimate) before it changeS to "considering you", especially now that there are more submissions and sifting.

Give it short time. All the best!

Your current status is currently undergoing actions detailed in step 3 of the BHE selection process (check link in page 2). Main hurdle here is to scale through in the matching of competencies ( answers to interview questions and technical skills) against pre-determined criteria. & according to the selection process, BHE invite is next (stage 4) (2015 applicants claimed that Oil Industry Global considers Nigeria English speaking, so English Test wasnt conducted

Haven't seen that fact anywhere though but i think it very likely to be a status eligible for INVITE FOR BHE Experience!!! ... Sifting of applications still ongoing across board, so no one is RELAXED....

A user claimed this: "The Oil Industry sees Nigeria as an English speaking country. Activities you engaged in with a team, how you managed work-based scenarios, steps you took, how you convinced them to embrace your opinions, how you would have applied these approaches differently among others.
