Advice for men trying to settle down
- Vet for deep character, not just vibes or beauty.
- Don’t marry a woman who sees submission as oppression.
- Guard your mental health. Your life literally depends on it.
- And never enter marriage because of pressure. Enter with purpose, or don’t enter at all.

Too many men attend seminars, stick to the script, and still get blindsided. Why? Because the manual no match the terrain.

Now let's look at marriage:
Nigeria’s divorce rate has increased significantly over the last decade. There are scientific researches linking relationship stress to rising male suicide and depression.

So it's not about discrediting marriage o, but to ask: how can we build it better? Even a mansion go fall if the foundation bend.

I’m married and I must confess that marriage has its pros and cons.

Pros:
Extra meaning to life: You’re a provider and you have a legacy to protect, your kids are an extension of you, so you just sense that in years to come, they would replace you.

In my opinion marriage is a test of leadership from God for men. Its a man’s duty to lead his family. If he is successful at it then that is his gain.

That’s a powerful perspective—and I agree that leadership is a core part of a man's role in marriage, especially in faith-based homes. But here's a question: if leadership is the test, are men being equipped and supported enough to pass it, or are they just thrown in and expected to figure it out alone?

Because without proper support, even leadership becomes a burden, not a blessing.

Marriage. That age-old institution. The white agbada, the jollof rice, the bride price negotiations, and of course—“So when are you getting married?” echoing from every family gathering.

But let’s ask the uncomfortable question out loud: What exactly does a man gain from marriage today?

Some say peace of mind. Others say companionship. But in reality, many men feel they're just ticking boxes—carrying financial burdens, losing personal freedom, and navigating emotional landmines… all while society expects them to “man up” and provide no matter what.

Let’s break it down:

Financial Pressure: From the lavish wedding to endless responsibilities—school fees, rent, emergencies—many men feel marriage is more of a debit alert than a life upgrade.

Emotional Isolation: Ironically, while marriage is supposed to be a partnership, many men confess they feel lonelier than ever, expected to be strong but never allowed to be vulnerable.

Freedom vs Responsibility: The bachelor life offers control over one’s time, friends, and money. Marriage, on the other hand, comes with a routine that often feels like a sacrifice of identity.

So here’s the real gist: Is marriage truly designed to benefit the man, or has it become a societal obligation that mostly serves others?

Women have a very dark side, when it comes to who they are attracted to, that most men are not aware of.

Using AI is not "easy". It's not easy, it's just another layer of skills to develop.

Modern Programming languages e.g python, JS etc with translators and compilers were easy for those who were used to assembly language of early computers.

AI use is a skill to learn and be proficient with it, to stand out.

In next 10-15 years, something new will come out again.

If the people that matter in the society want to reason your matter, you cannot escape it.

Citizenship

One thing is sure. She's not coming back to the senate.
Even if it takes INEC rigging, they won't allow her back.

These men she's fighting are mini gods, and they have patriachial mindset.... Woman must not fight and defeat them
