I had always wanted to be an accountant. And that is what I studied. I am so happy about that! My father actually influenced my career choice. It was his secret wishes and one of his deepest desire to have me study accountancy. He likes the profession so much and he normally hold accountants in high esteem. When I was very young he was always giving me sermon on how lucrative the profession is.....blah blah blah. All these spark my lifelong interest in the profession.I remember when I wanted to enter SS1. And I came home to tell him I was recommended to go to science class. Come and see the look on his face, he said,'you are not serious, go and change it to commercial class jor'. And I was like if not that I had already liked accountancy profession, is this how my papi is going to force me?I would choose that career path over and over again! |
zoomman:Lives are sacred. |
The first time you hit headline (for good thing) |
What is in a name? Everything is in a name. Yes, it does. Our names have great influence on our destiny. It is a trend I have noticed in some people's lives. I have discussed this same topic with someone before, the person also has some names that he said, he can/can't give to his children, because of it's positivity/negativity in some people lives. It is no wonder Romans says:[nomen est omen] it means: Name is destiny. Because they have noticed it too. Some parents gave their children names that they don't know the meaning of, simply because they like the sound of such names. There is power in the tongue,if you call a person a particular name, it sometimes have effect on such peoples life. So we have to be mindful of names we give people. |
Medunah:He has a son and four daughters. |
Really? *scratches head* That is a new one on me! |
dre11:Haba! Scope ke? Why don't you just believe me for once? Erm.....erm..... It will be more romantic, if you just package it with flowers and engraved love card and send it through courier. Whalai, courier delivery is the best method. ![]() |
mystiqueDZ:You should never accept failure. No matter how many times it visits you. Never say die. Never say never! |
dre11:I knew you wanted to test me nah. That was why I said that. Dre Dre, mah lovely darling! ![]() My chocomilo, my creamberry, my sweetie How are you? Have you eaten? Hope you are ok? Sebi you know I cares. Since you know I was only joking, don't unpack o. So when should I be expecting the gifts. |
plaetton:A woman should not complain, if her husband go to his mother's house to eat once in a while. But the problem is, if he goes there always. If it has become an habitual thing (That is the question the OP is asking). To start with, why would a married man always go to his mama house to eat? Doesn't that sound weird to you? Doesn't that portend trouble in such marriage? For the man to start eating at his mother's place always can mean: 1)The woman does not know how to cook. 2)He is punishing the wife due to misunderstanding between them. 3) He is not happy at home. The family that eats together stays together. Eating together also bonds couple. I expect a good mother to raise eyebrow, if your son is always coming to your place to eat. It's one of those things that crumbles marriage. You should ask questions, because it could be a sign of the factors i listed above and try to settle whatever the problem is for them. It is not a good sign at all. And married men who does that are MUMMY's BOY. One of the signs a single lady should look out for before marrying. If you are in a gathering of your friends and everyone is talking about the exceptional roles their wives are playing in their lives(including being a good cook) you will be talking about your mother's cooking) abi? Mind you the wife also has a good cook as a mother, she left her to have her own family and you that she sacrificed for prefer to always go to your mother's house to eat. How do you want her to feel? Think hard!!! |
If a married man always go to his mother's house for food. Then, that is the beginning of the end of such marriage. |
Keeping you away from family and friends. Nagging. Acoholism. However, all these should be discussed and worked upon by both parties. Intolerance should not automatically lead to divorce. Except, it is detrimental to the health of the other partner. |

Rubbish! Utter rubbish! Benefit ko, detriment ni. ![]() I know, its men that will read and digest the five benefits. The benefits is for them. Na their stock in trade. ![]() Won ti gbe nkan ti e mon je de. |
hazel01:He treated you like this and you think he is still in love with you? This relationship is so one-sided. He doesn't respect you and he is taking you for granted. Coupled with the silent treatment stuff, if you should marry him,he will make your life so miserable. You did not make a rash decision and don't go to him first,or else you will only reduce your self-worth, since he has made it an habit. If he comes back to you, you need to go into serious discussions with him about his behaviour. There are some things you should not digest. |
teewai3:Friends can be chosen, but you can't choose your family. |
dre11:Awww! Just seeing your message. Yes, We can still go out tomorrow. But the condition is: if it is not porsche, don't bother yourself. Don't bring beetle near me o. *Mi o si ni surulere, olorunshogo ni mo wa .kpisssh! * |
