Go and read the constitution and stop talk like mr. Knowitall. The constitution is clear, any state is free to practice sharia if they so wish. That is why senator Yerima could marry a 13 year old and claimed it is lawful under the sharia law, didn't we have senators then?

If it's NEPA bill Buhari tendered I'll still vote for him. We have more than 10,000 PhD holders in Nigeria. Do we have up to 1,000 Generals. It's easier to have a PhD in this country than to be a General.
This was the same affidavit Sambo provided. Now Buhari's own is causing apprehension.
Abeggg... They should tell us something new.
Wrong drift my dear. People work hard to earn their PhD, while a colonel can promote himself to the rank of a general if he is able to execute a successful and illegal coup against a democratically elected government and eliminate other officers in key position. I don't agree with your stand about being a PhD holder and being a general.

Of course plotting of coup was the greatest achievement from buhari. Apart from that, he could not achieve economic stability in his own life hence he still fraudulently borrows to buy nomination form, he could not achieve mental and emotional stability hence his inability to think before talking. The buhari of a man is a disaster, he can only achieve anything through the gun and bombs.

Rubbish from the same suspects from other side of the Niger. How old was Mandela when he became president. How is Prime Minister of India there now? Mugabe, Sirleaf, Bashir, Paul Biya, President of Eq. Guinea, and many more are still there today and in their 70s or 80s doing well for their countries.

Buhari looks more healthy that the drunkard from Oytuoke you all called president.
I'm not surprised at your comment and choice of words, it shows that you are one of the dullards in the SW seeking cheap popularity amongst your mentally deranged peers. Take a good look at yourself in the mirror and tell me you are better off than Peter Obi or the president. I can see your choice of nations and their leaders you chose to compare our dear country with, it confirms how dull and unintelligent you are. It tells everything about your mentality and obviously exposes your inability to understand what development is all about.

That man called buhari is a bloody lier. He does have any and he keeps lying and our dear lawyer (SAN) Osinbajo & his co travelers keep defending him just to deceive gullible Nigerians. Is this how APC intends ruling Nigeria? What a disaster for this natio that some group of desperadoes hungry for power will just pull this over Nigerians. Please this man should be challenged on the court to produce his certificate or be disqualified. Nigerians should not be taken for a ride like this. Is this the change they want to bring to Nigeria, it's shows that the APC is filled with corrupt, daft and abysmally unintelligent people. They ought to do there home work well. Presenting a man like buhari to lead Nigerians is a fraud and should be totally condemned, this is corruption. Is this how they intend to bring the change? This is over for them. We agree that GEJ is not perfect, but we don't need this man called buhari. Buhari is simply not the change we need.

buhari does not even have a company that employs, meaning that he cannot create or sustain wealth
Buhari is evil.

SincereNigerian....have you forgotten that the reason why we could not invest in a rail project at the time was that we did not have the money?

First...the oil price had dropped in 1982.

Second, the economy was in a shambles thanks to Shagari and company.

Third....starting the project would have involved taking a hefty loan....which we won't have been able to pay back...and would have added to our already heavy debt profile. (In 1985...IBB rejected the IMF loan to popular acclaim....unfortunately it led us to SAP).

And with our economy the way it was....with the fall in oil prices...I doubt any state would have been able to start and complete a metro project.

(GEJ was able to do major rail works thanks to the high oil prices. If there were no high oil prices....no one would be talking of rail revolution).

Abeg....Buhari has a lot to be criticized for.......but on this matter....he has shown prudence. We did not have the money at the time.....and taking a loan would have been disastrous....we would still have been paying it back....and people like you would be condemning Buhari for plunging us deeper into debt.
Just listen to yourself, you should be ashamed for going to school and not being able to learn anything. Show me a country without debt.

When will Nigerians stop listening to washed-up clerics, stop using religion or tribe as the basis of credibility. I support Buhari not because of his religion or tribe, I support him because it can't get worse than the current government. The past 6 years, Nigeria has declined in almost every sector and yet we want to vote for the same government because the leader is a Christian or because he had no shoes, let's wake up and use our brain. Is it not funny that we did not see any twitter comments before buhari's candidacy was announced, is it a coincidence that PDP and GEJ's supporters are not talking about GEJ's accomplishments while in office but are rather bent on talking about the negatives of the opponent? Be wise Nigerians, say no to mediocrity!
Please wake up bro, the APC never cared about GEJs achievement. They never want to see it. All they see is negativity and that is what their cheap popularity is built on. I can beleive you are saying this. Why not APC say "we can see the good deeds of GEJ in so so sector, but our party APC can do better, look at what we have done in LAGOS". How about that? NO, all they see is boko haram which we can now comfortably accuse them of starting. Please watch the video of Buhari waving his spear and telling his supporters to "kill them" you will be disappointed.

English my dear has a lot to do.
In a nutshell, Jonathan is the right person for the post?
The north's yelling for power is among the illiterates not among the educated ones.
The educated northerner doesn't even believe in that crap.
And there you go saying the APC is fighting to put its people in charge of oil that's a sick claim.
Jonathan being from the SS, how come he hasn't bought the oil wells from the northerners?
How come he doesn't own one himself?
Nigeria as a nation is dying and the funniest part is the fact that some people choose to be in denial over it.

I'm sure you don't see anything wrong when the rule of law is ignored by the leaders.
I'm sure you don't see anything wrong as the common man can't even live above N100 daily.
I'm sure you see nothing wrong when we flaunt corruption as a badge.
20billion$ grew wings and flew away overnight.
How the president allocated 4billion to an office which constitutionally doesn't exist.
I can go on and on and on
The crimes of the current administration is so enormous I don't even know where to begin.

One question to you.
Can you defend the removal of the oil subsidy?
The government that steals from the people is not fit to be relied upon.
I rest my case
It's obvious you are ignorant in certain areas of our polity as regards allocation of oil blocks, it's operation and terms of allocation. Please do your research and educate yourself.

You said something about rule of law, I will remind you that one of your acclaimed best governors ignored the rule of law when he deported innocent citizens on NIGERIA claiming they are destitute. Even if they are destitute, are they not NIGERIANS, what does the constitution say about NIGERIANS being free to live in any part of the country.? Or is that the rule of law you are talking about. Our leaders are lawless including those of the opposition, so don't use GEJ as your point of reference just because you want to paint him black for your gullible supporters to think ill about him. Your APC governors are equally lawless and is corruption.

All what the north is interested in is power, you can keep denying the obvious by your lackluster point of view. If you say the agitation for power is from the illiterates, why haven't the literates call them to order? Do you now refer to the chairman of Arewa consultative Forum (ACF) as an illiterate?

People not living above 100 naira daily is not a new thing. Poverty cannot be eradicated anywhere in the world. It's obtainable world wide and its relative to the economy of the nation. I'm not holding brief for any leader, even though it's appalling, one fact you should know is that government cannot provide for everyone. In America's high profile economy, there are street beggars who have no dime to live on. They beg to live and scavenge on a daily basis to make ends meet. Americans have not called for Obama's head unlike our opposition who wants GEJ to be crucified because some people are living on 100 naira daily. If you and your opposition group care so much about the poor, what have your done to help the poor around you? You are quick to point out faults, but helping those you so much love and defend now becomes challenging. They even claim they are destitute and are quick to deport and abandon them in the middle of the night.

Everyone is shouting corruption on a daily basis, same people will rob their employers blind at any opportunity. It's people like you who siphon diesel/gas/petrol meant for your company trucks and storage to other sources just to make money, yet you all come here to call GEJ names. Are your hands clean? "Let he who is clean cast the first stone" do you think the one who said that doesn't know what HE said? You have been hoodwinked to think that your savior Buhari is clean. You can vote him, it's your choice.

If you have proof of missing money in Nigeria please publish it, don't just make baseless allegation here. Show us proof.

You are quick to see the crimes of this current administration, how about seeing the achievements of this same current administration. NO, you will never see it. If you are telling me that everyone in the opposition is clean then you need to be checked into a mental home.

Talking about subsidy, didn't your governors support the removal? All state governors supported the removal and they benefitted from it. Read up how the revenue is shared and educate yourself.

It should be removed completely. Government cannot continue to pay subsidy. Past governments have always claimed there is subsidy, so it should be removed. Have you asked yourself why our lazy legislatures have refused to conclude the issues around the petroleum industry bill (PIB)? It's obvious you don't how the politics of petroleum product operates that is why you come out here to rant rubbish about subsidy. River state gets 1.2 billion naira monthly from sure-p which is part of the money realized from subsidy removal, have you bothered to ask your dear Amaechi how he spends that money or ask him to publish in national dailies how he spends the money. NO, you wouldn't do that.

Nigerian has turned to a country where every sick Masquerade wakes up and shout "30 billion naira is missing from ECA" and the gullible supporters follow suit. I don't blame you at all, I blame APC for peddling phantom and baseless lies feeding the general public with lies. I'm not surprised because that is what sustains their cheap popularity. It's clear APC has nothing to offer.

So if they have up to date weapons and not mundane weapons as u've stated, and are still not fighting what are the works of the generals?
Corruption stinks in all aspect of this nation, it stretches to the military.
Why can't they retire the generals who aren't motivating their soldiers?
Why can't the FG even at least hear the cries of the soldiers who go to the war front and state that their weapons aren't enough to fight boko haram. Why?
The only thing that give them headache is APC.
Always blaming opposition for incompetency. Its unfortunate.

And must I be paid to speak the truth?
Unlike you I don't get a dime for letting Nigerians know the truth about this administration.
I don't brainwash Nigerians into believing because a party has a substantial amount of muslims, the party is gonna Islamise the nation.
All these hogwash theories are for the simpletons. Now that a pastor is Buhari's vice are the christians now sponsoring boko haram? If you can't think outside the realms of the box then you have nothing to do with politics.
If you aren't sound minded you can't be a successful politician.
Please think well
Think from all perspectives before concluding.
God bless Nigeria.
No, it's you that needs to think we'll and aright. FYI, I am not paid to defend anyone, but when people come here and look at a government and the president who from day one had never had one month pass without bombings and killings and kidnap of young girls all in the name of wrestling power from him, and people come here to call him clueless, it is absolutely unfair and such attacks should be condemned. You have people come here and talk trash about insurgency as if that is the only problem NIGERIA is facing today.

Have you asked yourself what the insurgents are fighting for?
Have you asked yourself how it all started?
Have you asked yourself why 80% of oil wells are allocated to the northerners?
Have you asked yourself why they keep increasing in number on a daily basis?
Have you asked yourself why Buhari will make comments such like "killing boko haram is declaring war on the north"
Have you asked yourself why some soldiers will drive and APC vehicle to the battle front all to jump out of the vehicle and run away?
Do you know there are moles within the army?
Do you know that 60 to 70% of our army are made up on northerners most of whom are of islamic faith.?

What box are you thinking out of, for crying out loud, I'm beyond a box and I think beyond that your small box because I can't see any box. Every sane mind knows that the problem we have in this country is the North and their thirst for power. Stop deceiving yourself with politics which you don't even know nor understand. Everyone comes here to genuinely drum support for a change, but the northerners are asking that power must be returned to the north. They don't care about the change you clamor for, do they? They even see it as a crediible vehicle to facilitate their ambition. Is it not obvious to you that the north don't care about your change. Your professor of law will do little or nothing when the chips are down. The most unfortunate thing is that your general cannot win. I would had preferred he won the election and we will see the sudden magic he will do in our economy, manufacturing, agric, education, petroleum etc and how he promise to eradicate poverty, give 24 hours electricity. It's all wash, once he gets there, APC will tell you the decay in our country will take 50 years to fix, then the story begins. PDP and GEJ has been doing a good job trying to fix the decay our past northern military rulers including your messiah Buhari inflicted on this nation for over 38 years of rule, and today you think they are not doing enough.

PDP and GEJ is migrating the government towards a private driven economy, your and your APC party want to come and reopen NITEL, refineries, PHCN and put your tribes men to run it fraudulently. Those days are gone, those are avenues through which NIGERIANS defraud and embezzle government funds. Successful government in EU run private driven economy which creates jobs, we don't need state owned firms because when you place NIGERIANS there to manage it, they end up running it down by defrauding it.

PDP is not perfect, the members are human, no one is perfect, I expect the super humans, the perfect men in APC to take over and do the magic. It's a shame they play their own politics with lots of propaganda, shame. The APC party is fraud, and they have sold a dummy to gullible Nigerians.

GEJ's government is presently encouraging and empowering the youths to be self dependent, self sufficient, create jobs and employ others, you can't see the good in it, I guess when the general comes in too, he will cancel these initiatives and send everyone to prison because vendetta is in his blood. He thinks he is the only righteous man in Nigeria, but he is full of deceit, hate and lies which is typical of Hausa-Fulani.

Please don't think outside the box, imagine there is no box. Your Buhari is still in a box, he simply can't lead NIGERIA.

God bless this great nation, NIGERIA.

It is an ideologic one so it has no borders. The militants view themselves as evangelists not an army. How do you defeat that militarily.
No, NIGERIANS want their president to scientifically transform himself to Clark Kent (superman) or Robo cop to fight boko haram. If we keep deny the real reason why these people join boko haram, then we have not started. Every family in the north and in Nigeria generally has a lot of home work to do so we could stop our young ones from joining any kind of cult or terrorist group. It's a continuos effort and should be intensified in the north. Even in UK, muslims travel all they way to Syria, Iraq to join and fight for ISIL, this is what we are seeing here today.

How can they be finished when their parents and sympathizers keep encouraging them to join boko haram and then turn to blame the government. Let them continue, gradually they will be decimated.

I agree with you and people like me wouldn't have supported this stance of the North if not for the agreement. It will be a fraud to have an agreement to get a favor and turn your back when you're expected to do your part. That's crude!
Ok, let's agree that we return power to the north, can we rightly say that the next northern president will be there for 6 years? Because the bone of contention here is that late president Ya'adua did. To complete the northerners turn to rule for 8 years as he only ruled for 2 years before he passed on. Or do we now say GEJ has 2 more years to lead even if he wins this election? Please let's stop all this, we are way too matured for this. I don't think some people know what peace is all about until it is lost just for selfish reasons. We pray the country does not degenerate into such chaotic state as already predicted.
The engine of break up has already been started by some people psychologically and sympathetically giving support to boko haram, we must be careful.

You said a lot of good things but as usual, rubbished everything with the bolded!
Which "equity" again are you talking about? (From 2yrs V.P, plus 6yrs as President.... what else does the Niger Deltan want?) and to think that under the "Niger-Deltan", this country has become GROUNDED in all facets?

Maybe we should even allow GEJ to be there for a third term... for the sake of "Equity" for Niger Deltan! shocked shocked grin grin
Cheesux Christ! huh

GEJ can never go for even a two & a half term. The much he can do is 2 terms and he will be out. My point is that GEJ's tenure minus boko haram would had given us a different result which we can then equitably evaluate his performance. Let's not forget that what is going on in the north today is not new to the world, it is a menace ravaging the entire world with new religious converts taking up arms against the government. If you are telling me that GEJ has never achieved anything in this his four year tenure, then you are not being objective in your argument and you have deliberately refused to see the good deeds of others when you deceptively judge them. I think using boko haram issue alone to judge his performance is absolutely unfair to the president. GEJ might not be the best right now, but GMB is not the messiah we need. Going by a progressive political ideology, GMB should not be in the picture of presidential aspirants in the time and age of the nation.
