- He courts the diplomats and keeps a solid hand on the Senate
- He waited a few months to the elections and left Buhari and his APC
- He transmitted to PDP and became the PDP Leader
- He caused panic in their camp and made them commit unforced errors
- He knew about the invasion of National Assembly and smartly garnered popular support...

And people that could care less started supporting the national assembly that does not give a damn!
