Mere student? My man that's why history is important. Without it no family, society or country can progress as they will keep making the same mistakes.

You see, there are 3 major factors that show we are live - consciousness, breath and pulse. No medical doctor will apply CPR on a patient who is already dead!

CPR is actually for people without a pulse. As in dead. You try and revive them.

If its my country, the lady would have been arrested and the family made to pay heavy bail and compensation to the man's family.

In normal countries they know people die for many reasons, so an investigation ( autopsy) will be done first.

And in normal countries, its only police that can arrest, an arrest which must follow rules and cannot be longer than 2 days except the person is brought before a Judge.

But in Nigeria anybody with money or connection can tell his enemy who has less money or connection " I will arrest you" I will send you to prison.

There's an option of bail, 1million naira on each count. What does that mean, Freedom after meeting the bail conditions?

The first counts attracted 5 years imprisonment each to run concurrently, so no matter what he will stay in prison for 5 years. Not 30 years though.

The other counts he can choose to pay the 1 million fine, if he doesn't it will be part of his prison time.

But im sure he won't pay, as all the sentences have started running at the same time and it's all 5 years.

It was a fire fighting vehicle attending to an emergency at the Airport.

From my experience working with at the Airport, this is likely an unfortunate situation, but "blame" on the fire fighters to an extent.

A plane that is given right to land and to taxi, does not stop for anyone; every one clears the runway. No other plane will be in the way if traffic control is doing its job.

But emergencies are not planned, so fire fighters responding to an emergency to save a life dont normally stop for anyone too....BUT they must be on the lookout for cars and passengers not obeying or unaware of them, not to talk of a whole plane.

Green Card is not forever, its only valid for 10 years and then must be renewed, which can be denied. Conditional Green Card is 2 years.

There is nothing prestigious again about US/ UK citizenship if your parents or grandparents are migrants even with green cards. US citizenship by birth is on hold and may be cancelled by the US supreme court. Things have changed and reality is that you may have green card yet you are not fully regarded as a US citizen.

There is a semblance of that law in some strategic offices in Nigeria and there is nothing the person can do when invoked against him or her. I recall the case of two sisters who were born in the US, play basketball yet serious problems to get Nigerian citizenship despite both parents being Nigerians by birth.

Even in some states in Nigeria, and some LGA in Lagos, you will not get your letter of indigeneship if your ancestry has been blurred because of long stay overseas.

It is possible in Nigeria. You and your descendants can not stay overseas for multiple generations, contributing nothing to Nigeria and now come to claim citizenship.

All these tax reforms can not be imposed on only Nigerians fulfilling their citizenship obligations. This is why Indians always go back home to marry, have children, religious pilgrimage, cremation, pay taxes, etc.

Italians in diaspora are behaving like unpatriotic Nigerians in diaspora and they should both face same barrier.

Green Card holder is not and was never a citizen.

Citizen by birth on hold? Anyone born in the United States is a citizen. Its in the Constitution and America has not had a constitutional amendment since 1992.
