Foreign Affairs / Re: Wagner Boss Prigozhin Agrees To De-escalate Revolt In Russia - Lukashenko by babzo(m): 6:57pm On Jun 24, 2023 |
Wowww. This is either a red flag operation by Putin to trick the US and NATO ( Leaders like Putin don't mind sacrificing their own people or loosing some battles to win THE war) OR the situation got out of hand for Putin. Notice the Wagnar guy has not said one word of insult to Putin. Anyone who watched Homeland ( last season) will have an idea of what's going on. This is a family squabble , Putin fortunately or unfortunately is still their father. 45 Likes 6 Shares |

taylor89: That article on Tinubu by Gistlover was Complete rubbish. I am not saying Tinubu is clean or was not involved in drugs, but the article was rubbish. So Gistlover knows all these amazing secrets and OBJ ( mortal enemy of Tinubu), GEJ, Cabal , US FBI don't know all this. Then Tinubu would just meet a random guy at the port and make him head of his drug business. Not his towns man o, not his relative, not son of his friend, not known thug, just random guy. That's absolute rubbish, beer parlor talk. Then when Gistlover only did 1 page on Atiku and never got to Obi as he /she kept promising is when I knew it was just anti Tinubu gist. And I didn't vote for nor support Tinubu, but we blacks need to be more intelligent. 8 Likes 2 Shares |
Politics / Re: Eric Adams, New York City Mayor To Visit Nigeria On Sunday by babzo(m): 2:42am On May 11, 2023 |
Originalsly: I never said authority. That would make no sense. I said powerful, influential. The influence is not on another Governor, of what use is that. The influence is a measure of comparison. The Mayor of New York has more influence in America and globally than the Governor or Maine, Idaho, North Dakota and most US Governors. We are free to take what we consider good and reject what we don't like. Ghanaians rejected VP Kamala's LGBT rhetoric when she visited Accra last month. |
Politics / Re: Eric Adams, New York City Mayor To Visit Nigeria On Sunday by babzo(m): 7:48pm On May 10, 2023 |
Originalsly: Why would the Mayor of New York have authority over another city, talkless of a State?. Even the President of America doesn't have authority over another country. We are talking about influence. The Mayor New York has more influence over most Governors. Just like the President of Nigeria has more influence than the President of Liberia. 1 Like |

darkwan: Made in China, of course production for cost purposes, but the origin and companies are in America and the profits return there. Of course, even in America, many are against all the sex nonsense. Probably half of the country is against it, that is why the country is split almost 50 :50 between Democrats and Republicans and even some Democrats don't like the nonsense. Don't forget with all the shouting in Nigeria, many still celebrate the nonsense of Bob Risky and his friends like that one called Joe or Brown that is even now being featured in Nollywood movies. |

Originalsly: He is sir. I say that what all authority. Almost everyone in America and most educated people worldwide know who the Mayor of New York and all the previous New York Mayors. Infact New York Mayors usually become Presidential candidates like Bloomberg and Rudolph William Louis Giuliani. Now can you name the current Governor of Maine or Utah or Minnesota without using Google or up to 10 of the current 50 US Governors, even the Governor of New York ( except you live there). I am 100% sure your answer is no!!! |

Originalsly: Delete what Oga? You are referring to an individual Eric Adams, I an referring to the position. He governs the world's number 1 city with a population of 8 million and manages a budget of $104 Billion ( N76 Trillion) 3 times more than the entire Nigerian budget of N21 Trillion) and you say he has nothing to offer Nigerian Governors? I laugh in French. |
Politics / Re: Eric Adams, New York City Mayor To Visit Nigeria On Sunday by babzo(m): 5:42pm On May 09, 2023 |
LORDKing001: While it is true that Mayor is equivalent to a Local Government Chairman in Nigeria, the New York Mayor is more powerful and influential than most US elected officials except just a few like the President, VP, Speaker , some Ministers. He is more powerful than the vast majority of the 50 Governors. Simply because of what city he is Mayor of. If the Mayor endorses any candidate during the primaries of his party, that candidate is likely going to win. Now if it is the Mayor of a city like Gem Lake near Wisconsin, that one is not even qualified to meet the Special Assistant to the Chairman of Lagos Island Local Government |

SMARTMOTORS: Maybe Nigeria or Africa. Not the rest of the world. Movies still making $100million in 2 weeks. Some $1 billion in 4 weeks. Almost all making millions in a week. Skits make money too, but not even close to a movie or TV production. The law of input and output is natural, can't be broken. 1 Like |

Alhaji Dangote. Alhaji Mai Sugar. The Greatest Nigerian alive. You have done more for the positive image of Nigeria than all the President's and Governors of Nigeria combined. They said it's because of government partiality you are doing well, then you went beyond the shores of Nigeria to Ethopia, to Mali and did marvelously well there too. Thank you for all you do. Thank you for employing so many Nigerians and paying them well. Thank you for making us proud. You never took a government contract, never got an oil drilling license . You sold ordinary cement, old school business. Then you sold spaghetti. When others were doing my family and I business, you took your business to the stock market, opened it up to public scrutiny and hammered becoming the richest black man alive and making billions for ordinary share holders. And some mentally lazy people are suprised you Made more billions by going to the stock market. We have never seen you flaunt a Rolex, a mansion, a rolls royce. You placed your business in places you were not born you hired people from all tribes. You are blessing to this country Happy Birthday sir. 7 Likes 3 Shares |

Assurance2023: I don't doubt that people love him or support him. Millions supported other leaders in the past too in different states. The problem is Nigerians have set the bar so low; what we call performance is sad to be honest. With all the potential of Nigeria, we are stuck as a 3rd world country. People celebrate boreholes in 2023. Emergency numbers and real ambulances don't exist despite trillions spent by the FG and many State Governments. They build so called world class hospitals and schools, yet they go overseas with their families for school and medical treatment. And the people continue to hail them. |

Nigerians are very easy to amuse and please and the politicians know exactly what button to press. People have gotten so used to the countries problems, they now accept them as normal. Not one of the Governorship candidates in any State including Lagos, made any effort to say how they will make pipe borne water for all homes a reality. Imagine in the year 2023, people still digging borehole and buy water from Mallams. Let's not even discuss those in the rural areas going to fetch water at the river. Over 2000 years after a city like Rome had pipe borne water to its homes. Not one of the Presidential candidates explained how they will eradicate bandits and kidnappers and defeat Boko Haram. Now see a Governor and Minister ( different parties) dancing when it's not Friday or a party at an event where millions have been wasted just to rent the tent, print pamphlet, and buy snacks for the guests; and the citizens are shining their 32 saying " that's my Governor, I love my Governor, he always makes me happy" Is he a jester? Is that what he was elected and is being paid billions to do? Today, the first anniversary of the terrorist attack on the train in Abuja, with no one arrested or charged despite the many killed. Same Minister under whose watch, prison after prison was broken into across the country, and prisoners escaped. Weeks after the election, the Elect is already resting abroad. Not one summit or strategic meeting on solving the glaring problems. Even the simple one of people paying N500 to send N5000. Even the Opposition is confused. N25 Million to get ordinary nomination form for Governor , not campaign funds o; and you think the next Governor wont steal? Or maybe they are not confused; its normal normal. 82 Likes 6 Shares |
