Guitarlife: I started out as a contemporary guitarist and became good on acoustic , lead and base then i crossed to classical with violin and saxophone now with a strong music sight reading advantage i am learning to become a jazz pianist. I did not see another working power supply to test it with but just planning to take it to computer village tomorrow

Please i need help on my computer that just stopped working. Its a pentium4 desktop system.

I start it up and was about working on it,i perceive a smell like something burnt, suddenly the picture on the monitor was distorted and the system went off. I tried to restart it and only the power light and hdd light came on without booting. I tried restarting but the lights were no more coming on.
When i opened the casing.i inserted the power cable again but i noticed the cpu and the casing fan spining without pressing the power button but not spining well.
The led on the motherboard was on i tested the +5 and +12 v but it was +3 and +1 volts.
Could it be power supply faulty or mother board fault.
Pls. I need advise on what could be faulty.

Hello Nl. There's this controversy that has been going on in a marriage seminar organised in a church. Along the line the issue of whose name should comes first in wedding invitation came up. And the lecturer said it should be the groom's name. Instead of the bride's name first that is conversant with most wedding invitations i've seen or came across.
He stated further that we copied the bride's name's first from the europeans that in europe the bride weds the groom and the bride has more power than the groom according to law.
But here the groom weds the bride and he's the head and carries much of the responsibility of the marriage.
So therefore his name should comes first and not last.
How truth is this.

I want to ask a question if it is possible to password a folder where i kept some important information cos my computer is kind of free to everybody in my house cos of the internet connection on it.

that is a very serious issue, though there's nothing you can do to wipe off the tribal marks from the children's face but at the same time one has to tear for that mother in-law in case of another time

Nairalanders, i've been having nocturnal emmission(wet dreams) before but now its been frequent at least once in a week and i don't know what is the cause.
Is it normal at all.
And what can i do to solve this problem if it is one.

Hello Nairalanders, it happened that i was writing my OND final year project.
I'm an electrical/electronics student.
I'm writing the project on a topic (Infra red remote controled standing fan regulator),
Although i have finished the building of the project and i have submitted it alongside with the write-up i wrote but the write-up was not accepted cos i did not write it very well so i was given steps on how to write it.
So the chapter3 of it is DESIGN ANALYSIS of which i have source for previous projects write ups and i couldn't see anything of such.
So please if you have any idea about how to go about it, pls kindly help me

ode remo how can u say i'm lying, i have finished my o level since 2006 but just went to sit for waec, even during that time i was writing my waec i was a student in a polytechnic but i gained admission with another result,if you know an exam called NABTEB,that was what i gained my admission with but just feel like i should write waec,

There was this girl i met at my waec exam centre @ 2009,her seat was right in front of mine,
so after our last paper we chatted and exchange numbers,and we've been calling each other.
So it happened that last month she came to visit me at my skul @ abeokuta and i fell in romance wit her and during the process i did cunninglingus with her and it seems she loves it,after a week she told me she'll come and pay me visit again and the same thing happened again with sex,since then i've been pondering on the cunninglingus issue that,

also the change of institution and 2nd choice form is now available at the school admin.

Change of Inst. =10,000
2nd choice form = 7,500

Just want to info you all that the second choice form, change of institution and change of course form are not yet on sales so I'm not sure of the amount it's being sold for.

moreover a call you did not picked delibrately will last up to 20-25 seconds plus the time spent before it went through. It's almost a minute. So how can you received 2300 plus missed call in the midnight, how many minutes do we have there in the midnight.
So think wisely before you say anything here again cos we're not fools that you take us for.

There's this girl i met on facebook which was processing admission to my school of which it clicked and i just gave her a call one day and she told me she has resumed and we meet at school that day,i like her behaviour and she is very free with me,even my friend that came to see me .and we talked as if we've known each other for very long time, ever since then i've been calling her and we meet at school and i like her very much and we're friends and i want to take the relationship to another level and i told her that we should meet at school to talk about it of which i was in the company of my friends when she came and there was no time to talk about that and i decided to send her short message about my intention cos she was so eager.
Eversince then she doesn't pick my calls and i called her on another phone she isn't picking it.
I'm confused i don't know wat to do please advice me.
