Politics / Re: Security Officers Detain El Rufai's Family by back2back(f): 3:46pm On Sep 29, 2009
this is no news!

thousands of Nigerians are detained everyday.

Immigration offices have RIGHT to detain and question whoever they deem fit.

We complain of corruption/in-efficiencies and when they try to do their work, we complain again!

what a country!
Politics / Re: Ibori Trial: Live Witness Account! by back2back(f): 11:01am On Sep 29, 2009
Can you guys leave OVATION and Olatilo alone

Are they the Nigerian Banks where these money were withdrawn?

Are they the secretary to the state treasury who sign the money?

Are they the Political Godfather and God mothers who wants to collect profits from their investment!

Are they the populace who accepted 'bribes' to vote for the thieves?

To stamp away corruption is sadly TOP-DOWN approach for Nigeria; the leaders here have excutive powers!

Politics / Re: Why Ribadu Is After Me - Ibori by back2back(f): 11:05am On Sep 26, 2009
This guy is a joker it is now that he comes out to say this. He is just looking for excuses that is all. Also he says Ribadu came after him when he refused to help him talk to Yaradua but i tot he had been on trial since Obasanjo era

indeed. who was the chief financier of Yaradua election!

what is Bode and Annenih still doing walking around free?
Politics / Re: I Am Getting Sick Of Ribadu by back2back(f): 9:33am On Sep 25, 2009

Believe Ribadu and you will believe anything!
Travel / Re: South-Africa: The Worst Place To Live? by back2back(f): 9:22am On Sep 25, 2009
I submit to you that the crime rate in sub-Saharan Africa is extremely high, it's just not being reported like it is in South Africa. I find most responders in this article to be very hypocritical. South Africa will succeed (and has succeeded) whether or not you wish us ill!! Let's rid ourselves of blind jealousies as Africans!

Before you talk without facts.

Nigeria was key in liberation of South Africa from claws of whites.

We finance your ANC for many years. Many of your people came to study in our Uni for free!

The point here is that if any investment is to come to AFRICA, the WEST wants to make sure 70% goes to SA because they have invested interest in the country. Thats not level playing fields for other African countries.

As such they blow-up statistics about possibly place that could get such investment and increase SA chances!

very sad.

but let Yaradua wife donate the money instead of going to Atomic Agency Office in Vienna.

Better still, let OBJ donate part of the award money given to him by spanish Government.

Provide better arguement if you have any:

If truly FG is after his life, he wont have sneaked recently into Nigeria to visit Gani!
Politics / Re: Fg After My Life Over Ibori, says Ribadu by back2back(f): 9:26am On Sep 24, 2009

Politics / Re: Doctor Jailed For Obasanjo Death by back2back(f): 12:00pm On Sep 22, 2009
It was a pity she died. It deos not matter what she went to the hospital for a soul is lost and a right judgement was declared.

indeed. we are waiting when ODI people wiped-out by OBJ in 1999 would get justice!
Politics / Re: Yar’adua Off To Saudi Arabia by back2back(f): 11:52am On Sep 22, 2009
kuramo:

Nobody should be fooled by this unfortunate and sick President who cannot tell his fellow countrymen and women the real truth about his second so called official working visit to Saudi Arabia within a few weeks since he last visited.

The real truth is his worsening health condition complicated by his Chaug-Strauss Syndrome which may not be responding well to the treatment he received in Jedda, Saudi Arabia just a few weeks ago under the pretext he was going for the lesser Hajj and a working visit.

Aso Rock claimed he will be meeting with the Saudi Monarch who curiously will be in New York for the UN General Assembly ( an event 100 other world leaders are attending to discuss important issues affecting humanity ) and later Pittsburgh for the G20 Meeting.

If the President's poor health precludes him from working for the interests of Nigeria, we would all understand his predicament if he simply resigns his position in other to concentrate on looking after his health. That is what the Nation expects.

And to imagine that this ex-journalist and spokesman SEGUN ADENIYI could lie bold face to Nigerians!

We are deceiving ourselves if we expect anything good to come from yaradua.

oge4real:

It doesnt matter what she went to the hospital for. The main issue is that she lost her life due to someone's negligence and that person must be held accountable.
It is sad though that such things happen in this country and the culpable doctors are not brought to book.

And when are Nigerians victimized by her and her husband will get justice??

The spanish has shown clearly how much they value Justice for all!

Let the OBJ mourn of that!
Foreign Affairs / Re: Why Nigerians Don't Tap Into South African Market? by back2back(f): 11:00pm On Sep 21, 2009
i just feel that the SAfricans are afraid that once they start allowing Nigerians the free hand to enter their markets, it is only a matter of time before Nigerians begin to run the whole show.

is it not same SAFRICAN runing shows in Nigeria??
Politics / Re: Bayo Ohu, The Guardian's Reporter, Murdered by back2back(f): 10:56pm On Sep 21, 2009
You're right u know. . . I fink the Law shit should be bleeping modified and amended and by the way we've got prolific writers on nairaland and co. We cna draft a petition and send to the National Assembly of Lawless makers, an opinion. LoL.

I fully support this.

This could happen to anyone else.

Foreign Affairs / Re: Why Do Nigerians Look Up To America? by back2back(f): 12:50pm On Sep 21, 2009
Firstly, I don't agree with your assumption that Nigerians look up to America. Then, assuming you were correct

Nigerian and Nigerians ALMOST try to imitate America in everything.

Almost everything is about AMERICA in Nigeria!
Politics / Re: Ceo For Islamic Bank In Africa(Nigeria?) Wanted by back2back(f): 12:42pm On Sep 21, 2009
It becomes clearer now, those 5 banks will be turned into 'Islamic Banks'
grin cheesy grin
Politics / Re: Bayo Ohu, The Guardian's Reporter, Murdered by back2back(f): 12:39pm On Sep 21, 2009
The nurses, doctors who refused to treat him, the police who said that hospitals must collect police report to treat a wounded human being, and all the law makers who passed the law (if it exists) should be charged as assessories to murder (2nd or 3rd degree) of all the souls that have died due to this wicked law!

sadly they all acted within the LAW!

I expect this should be one of the first LAW to be expelled by NA since 1999 but alas nothing has been done.

Ofcourse his killers would never be find. This is Nigeria!

Foreign Affairs / Re: Why Do Nigerians Look Up To America? by back2back(f): 7:49pm On Sep 19, 2009
so my question is why is it that we as nigerians continue to look up to this nation as one to be emulated?

because our minds have been colonised and large population of blacks reside in the place.

And importantly, globalisation of media!

Politics / Re: Who Killed Citizen Amanda Uhunmwangho by back2back(f): 7:36pm On Sep 19, 2009
Amanda Uhunmwangho, a 32 year old lady, and a staff of the Independent Electoral Commission (INEC) died under suspicious and questionable circumstances while in custody of the Nigerian Prisons Service, after having being under police detention for about 24 hours or thereabouts. While she was a complainant in an ongoing fraud litigation case within the jurisdiction of Edo State, how she came to her sorry end, especially as she was charged before a Magistrate Court hours before her untimely and unfortunate death. There are a lot of questions that need to be asked, and I would implore all to join me in asking the Nigerian State, "Who killed Miss. Amanda Uhunmwangho?"

sad but you will get answer only when we know who killed BOL IGE!
