This is CRAP!!!

If they collect the N100billion stolen by Bode George, they will build enough school!

If they collect the $16billion stolen by OBJ, they will build enough universities and equip them.

Politics / Nigeria Secures Another $500m Loan World Bank! by back2back(f): 11:05am On Jul 30, 2009
THE World Bank has formally approved a new loan of $500 million for Nigeria, against the background of disapproval from members of the House of Representatives, who would not want the nation to backslide to the era of high debt burden.

World Bank's Senior Communications Officer in Abuja, Mr. Obadiah Tomhodet, explained that the new credit was in response to the current global financial crisis. It is coming barely a week after a similar credit was contracted to boost the fight against the malaria scourge in the country.

"The loan is intended to provide budgetary support to the Federal Government of Nigeria to partially off- set the fiscal impact of the crisis as well as maintain its current economic reform path in the financial sector, fiscal policy and financial management, and governance," said Michael Fuchs, the Lead Financial Economist and Task Team Leader of the World Bank.

When are Nigerians going to march against WORLDBANK and chase them away??

grantefe:

Hello fellow nigerians, there is a young nigerian who is on death row right and at this very hour. A bright intelligent nigerian who is about to be snatched away from his loving family and friends by a dreaded kidney condition known as kidney failure.CYRIL CHIBUOGWU has been suffering for quite a while, cyril chibuogwu is the first child of seven, his father is a retiree from the Nigeria police, who is conrentely now a contract security guard.
Cyril's younger brother has volunteered to donate a kidney to him and a compatibility test has been conducted and the test result shows that his brother is psychological and mentally fit to donate his kidney. The operation has been scheduled to commence in Indian, Th operation requires a large sum of money, A kind angelic nigerian has been showing kindness to the CHIBUOGWU family. He has already secured a visa, flight tickets and other travelling plan expenses.
The doctors in Indian have cut down their prices to thirty seven thousand dollars($37,000) if converted into our local currency that is approximately six million naira (N6,000,000)
Cyril has written several articles and letters soliciting for the help and support from both Delta and Lagos state Government, and i can not say that they are not responding but i think the time is ticking and there is no time for delay and procastination because this disease is a ticking time bomb.
On behalf of CYRIL CHIBUOGWU and the entire Chibuogwu family i am appealling to nairaland and nairalanders to please join hands with me and lets try to save a life because all he needs is a little bit of assistance to stay alive.
If you feel the slightest itch to save a life or make a donation you could contact him via his phone number below
we should also have in mind that little drops of water makes a mighty ocean. The money he needs seems large but with combined effort from all of us it would be just a pocket change.

Not pessimistic, but this aint gonna work. You can only protest against a govt that refuses to listen. Concerning this Power issue, d govt officials dont know what to do about power. They ve tried to think about it but its just too much for their head.

Sorry to disappoint you all: this is dead on arrival!

Nigeria rulers know what to do but they rather steal the money!

the twitter should rather be 'what happened to $16billion spent on light by OBJ but result was more darkness'

This is 5-year annual budget for many African Countries!!
Politics / Re: Ribadu Was Obj’s Political Weapon - Waziri by back2back(f): 3:31pm On Jul 28, 2009
THE Chairman of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC), Mrs. Farida Waziri, on Monday, disclosed that evidence available showed that the commission, under its former chairman, Mallam Nuhu Ribadu, was used as political weapon against perceived enemies of former President Olusegun Obasanjo.

Gbam! Gbam!! Gbam!!

You dont need to attack the messenger, chew on the message.

Bode George stole N100billion nothing happened to him. He did not even contest any election!

Alarm stolen N10billion and hell was let loose.

@Back2Back I really took my time in trying to understand and make sense of your point but I still fail to get it,West controll not only the SA economy but the world economy,Nigeria for example relied on the West for investment,so I really don't understand where you're trying to get to.

dont try to be clever.

WEST have solid investment in SA than anywhere else in Africa.

Many whites are SA citizen and their cousin in the WEST cant sustain them back in WEST if SA go burst like Zim!

It is cheaper for them to have some quiet in SA.

In Nigeria and other Africa place, WEST only do business. They dont have any attachment or HUGE investment!

This is one of the reason they stop all the nuclear weapon once they were ready to handover to Mandela!

Conclusion: South Africa is held together by WEST because of their people still there!

We are a collection of professionals with proven track records OUTSIDE Nigeria and we are willing to bring that expertise back to Nigeria and make a change.  Oh and by the way what will solve the problem?

last time OUTSIDERS came, they join NORTH, SOUTH, EAST, WEST into this mess.

please stay in your outside. if you feel you want to help.

1. ask the outsiders to stop giving those 'leaders' VISA

2. ask the outsiders to stop taken corruption money from 'those leaders'

3. ask the outsiders to stop selling these goons weapon

You will be amazed what insiders will do to these leaders!!!

We dont need another Political Party!!

Crises is an understatement.
I think it might be experiencing gradual extinction in Africa.

Meanwhile back to the topic (BTT), how many people on this forum know this 54 year old Umawa Oke Imo who is a disgrace to our common patrimony- Nigeria.
Next time when you or your relation or friends are harrassed or given sly looks because you are a Nigerian or of Nigerian descent, think about Umawa Oke Imo atrocities and other rogues like him who we honour as Chiefs, Elders, Baba Adinnis, GCFR etc but whose very acts of ommission and/or commission make life a living hell for you and I within and outside Nigeria.

unfounded.

how many oyinbo is given sly looks for all the atrocities they commited?
how many Russina given sly looks for their internet frauds?
how many Chinese given sly looks for their priracy?

Stop feeling inferior. assert yourself!

Jakumo:

Nothing like keeping that glorious Nigerian fraud flag flying, so as to reassure the world that Nigerians are genetically gifted with the skills and innate compulsion to FIND LOOPHOLES, and then drive trucks laded with stolen cash and merchandise through them.

Look in life there is not wrong or right just from which side you look at things.

If any country in the world wants to develop a 'LOOPHOLE proof system', simply employ Nigerians.

We can make lots of money 'testing' systems and get paid for it.

We think 'out-of-the-box'!!! Turn negative into postive. Be a proud Nigerian!

They did not allow Umaru Diko who stole our money to be cargo back to Nigeria, since they are milking taxes from him yet they want to deport harmless woman with her model kids. shame on them!
