Politics / Re: What Have You Done For Our Sick President ? by back2back(f): 11:09am On Dec 15, 2009
This is CRAPY!

Yaradu is not elected but SELECTED President.

He knew he was sick, he knew OBJ was rigging him on Nigerians. He accepted it ALL.

Anyone that REALLY means well for NIGERIANS would have insisted on CLEAN, CLEAR, FAIR ELECTION in 2007.

I am 100% sure if OBJ had imposed a MONKEY in 2007, Nigerians would have accepted it!!

This guy is greedy useless fellow.

Like others before him, they can all ROT in hell!
Politics / Re: PointBlank News:President Yar'adua Now Mentally Ill. . . Saudi Doctors Plan To Give Up by back2back(f): 11:00am On Dec 15, 2009
A MAD MAN IS NIGERIA'S PRESIDENT!!!!!! LAFF WAN KILL ME DIE!!!

nothing new, we always had MAD MEN as Presidents.

OBJ was one, here is man that gave order to wipe out a whole village: ODI

Abacha was one, here was a man whose DARK glasses did not allow him to know difference between day and night.

IBB was one, here was a man that dribble a whole nation until he dribble himself into 'step-aside'

Shagari was one, here was a man that knew nothing about the government he suppose to lead.

Abubakar was one, here was a man that finished budget for 12months in 5months and nothing on ground.

Gowon was one, here was a man that wedded when IGBO were being killed in the east.

what record do u have of this happening or are you just going on your anti-western tirades again?

It very sad when people dont know their history. They get lost.

I wonder if anything would be done by the political class on this issue.
Politics / Re: Lagos Citizens To Have State Identity Card In 2010 - Fashola by back2back(f): 8:32pm On Dec 13, 2009
A very nice and intelligent move. That is another way of conducting a census. Go on Mr. Fashola. Eko oni baaje oooo !

Indeed.

Only NPC is the legal body allowed to conduct census in Nigeria.
Politics / Re: Fg To Site Gun Factory In Abia by back2back(f): 7:46pm On Dec 12, 2009
you are right, countries like Ukraine, Mexico, libya and Northern Ireland were definitely responsible for colonialism and corruption in Nigeria.

how dumb can you guys get.

what does selling GUNS to others to kill themselves and we make tidy profit got to do with colonialism or corruption??
Politics / Re: Nigeria Police Fails To Respond To Abuja Airport 'bombing' by back2back(f): 6:27pm On Dec 12, 2009
As good as the plan looks, they have done it wrongly.

Disaster planning includes getting all the agencies; Police, Bomb squard, army, NEMA, ambulance and 'prepared victims' informed ahead of time.

The danger here is that next time, the Police may believe it is anothe practice and not respond.

The aims of DP is not to test if they are ready or not.

The aim is to test they know exactly what to do if it happens!

Politics / Re: Mounting Scare Reigns Over Reliability Of Atms In Nigerian by back2back(f): 6:12pm On Dec 12, 2009
Where are our engineers? What does it take to program an ATM? What does it take to build a TV or refrigerator? What about a generator or even wind turbine?

I understand how you feel.

Adebowale was manufacturing refrigerators in 70s, Odutola was manufacture tyres in the 70s etc

It takes nothing serious to build ATM, it is just a dummy terminal to respond to user inputs.

But our brains have been so blocked with colonialism that we believe everything foreign is better.

The banks in Nigeria will not buy or give contracts to build ATM locally.

I know of a product, produce in Nigeria and exported to Benin republic and Nigerians go buy it from there and bring back to Nigeria.

They simply wont buy it direct from Nigeria!

It is that bad and our leaders do not help matters, they send wrong signal.

Sadly, if we cant change our mindset, NO FUTURE for Nigeria.
Politics / Re: Erastus Akingbola Na Real Ole by back2back(f): 6:03pm On Dec 12, 2009
“Putting the records straight, the management of the bank wishes to state that the transactions on the transfer of approximately £10 million were done between March and April 2009, whilst the transfer of N10 billion was done in May, 2009. Both transactions were done before the CBN intervention and assumption of office of the new management team,” the statement explained

CBN failed in their role!!!

How can such amount be transfered out of Nigeria without clearance from CBN.

CBN has always being the real criminal allowing all our money to be transfered abroad by 'armed robber rulers'

They should shut-up or do their work properly!
Politics / Re: Benue Bans Ogogoro by back2back(f): 5:58pm On Dec 12, 2009
The State House of Assembly has just passed into law a bill sponsored by the government of Governor Gabriel Suswan banning the sale, transportation and consumption of the alcohol -after an extensive tour of the state to feel the people's pulse on the matter.

Equally remarkable is the involvement of the National Agency for Food and Drugs Administration and Control (NAFDAC) in the campaign to remove ogogoro from the minds and mouths of Benue people.

This is VERY SAD indeed.

It shows we are not READY to develop and grow our lives out of poverty!

People that have no sense of history, we have no clear defined future.

The evil colonial Britain tried to ban Ogogoro and instead sell us their Schnaps, Dry-Gin etc

It took Dr Tai Solarin to fight then to stand still since this will result to job loss, dependency of foreign consumption etc

The solution is not BAN ogogoro but actively ensure alcohol content is reduced, ensure those places are licensed, ensure drivers are regularly tested for alcohol etc.
Politics / Re: Fg To Site Gun Factory In Abia by back2back(f): 5:47pm On Dec 12, 2009
This is good but the GUNS should be sold abroad.

It must NEVER be sold or use in Nigeria!

It is time we have a clear strategic foreign policy.

We can for instance put Libya people against Gadafi by demanding for democracy then we sell the GUNS to both parties to kill themselves while ABAIA make money and can develop their state.

Or better we supply it to North Ireland guys or the Spanish Basique fighters.

Or we supply it to the Georgia, Ukraine to fight Russia.

Or we supply to Mexico drug lords.

It is time we pay them back!
Politics / Re: Yar'adua's Condition Takes A Bleak Turn; His Return Uncertain by back2back(f): 2:18pm On Dec 10, 2009
i dont know how quickly OBJ will be drinking his gari now. this is all his mischief, installing a sick man for a president of a nation of 140mill.

No. It is NIGERIANS who refused to fight for their rights.

If OBJ had imposed a MONKEY way back in 2007, am sure Nigerians will find reason to accept it.

In 1999, Nigerians looked for all reasons to accept OBJ.

We seems to think 'PROGRESS' or SUCCESS is free.

Nigerians deserve whatever leaders they get!
Politics / Re: Kill N' Go Nigeria: Amnesty International Says Police “kill At Will” by back2back(f): 11:27am On Dec 10, 2009
if this is not HELL on earth, I dont know what else could be:

Mbah who spoke through the Head of Public Relations, Mr. Cyril Keneze, noted that all efforts to get the relevant authorities to find lasting solution to the situation which had become worrisome had fallen on deaf ears, as the police in the state were yet to respond to the petitions already forwarded to them. He disclosed that the hospital spends close to N144 million weekly on diesel to run the five gigantic generators in its possession and as such is not ready to cough out additional funds for the disposal of the corpses. “We are under obligation to co-operate with the police by accepting the corpses they bring to the hospital. But the problem now is that the number of corpses that are dumped here is beginning to adversely affect the capacity of our morgue. To adequately keep these corpses without jeopardising the chances of other corpses whose causes of deaths are natural has indeed become a problem," he explained

And NIGERIANS are not on the street, fight the WICKED Government to stand-still

In Greece, just 1 boy was killed by Police. It was hell for the whole country!!
Politics / Re: Fashola Launches Surveillance Helicopters by back2back(f): 10:58am On Dec 10, 2009
Helicopter is for surveillance and relaying info to the team on the ground,

if this is all that they WANTED to do; then I make BOLD to say: this is 'white elephant'

Nigerian Police knows all the corners where they sell IGBO!

And all armed robbers smoke igbo before going on operation!

Nigerian Police knows all the armed robbers and their hide-out.

I know for a fact that Police gives gun to armed robbers in Nigeria.

So the energy and money are better used to 'reform the Nigerian Police' and if not possible create 'Lagos State Police'
Foreign Affairs / Egypt Starts Building Steel Wall On Gaza Strip Border by back2back(f): 10:23am On Dec 10, 2009
Mubarak is one of the worst Dictators in Africa.

But because he supports AMERICANS in their fight against Palestinians, he is darling of USA.

He was the first African President Obama met in Africa as US-President.

But we know Berlin Wall came down, we know the wall of Jerico came down, so will this wall being built by US will go down; it is a matter of time:

Egypt has begun constructing a huge metal wall along its border with the Gaza Strip as it attempts to cut smuggling tunnels, the BBC has learned.

When it is finished the wall will be 10-11km (6-7 miles) long and will extend 18 metres below the surface.

The Egyptians are being helped by American army engineers, who the BBC understands have designed the wall.

The plan has been shrouded in secrecy, with no comment or confirmation from the Egyptian government.

The wall will take 18 months to complete.

For weeks local farmers have noticed more activity at the border where trees were being cut down, but very few of them were aware that a barrier was being built.

'Impenetrable'

That is because the barrier, made of super-strength steel, has been hidden deep underground.

The BBC has been told that it was manufactured in the US, that it fits together in similar fashion to a jigsaw, and that it has been tested to ensure it is bomb proof.

It cannot be cut or melted - in short it is impenetrable.

Intelligence sources in Egypt say the barrier is being sunk close to the perimeter wall that already exists.

They claim 4km of the wall has already been completed north of the Rafah crossing, with work now beginning to the south.

The land beneath Egypt and Gaza resembles a Swiss cheese, full of holes and tunnels through which the Palestinians smuggle the everyday items they are denied by the blockade.

But the Israelis say the tunnels are also used to smuggle people, weapons, and the components of the rockets that are fired at southern Israeli towns.

The wall is not expected to stop all the smuggling, but it will force the Palestinians to go deeper and it will likely cut the hundreds of superficial tunnels closer to the surface that are used to move the bulk of the goods.

The same people yelled and cried about maintenance and white elephant when Lagos state rolled out the BRT, well, BRT is a huge success and the buses are still out there and getting maintained at dedicated maintenance yards all over the state.

these people are not AGAINST anything but want to ensure that angles are covered and well planned out.

Using Heli to fly about in the air without ground forces is zero.

And if your ground forces are corrupt,  you are on your own; you only catch those who did not 'settle'

And who will be using the heli? Nigerian Police or Lagos State 'Police'?

I would rather imagine, 'Air Ambulance' and 'Search and Rescue' would be more effective use of these helis
Politics / Re: Fashola Launches Surveillance Helicopters by back2back(f): 9:59pm On Dec 09, 2009
Why would they get helicopters and not think of a way to maintain them?

OBJ built power stations only to remember he had no supply of GAS to fire the plants!
Politics / Re: Fashola Launches Surveillance Helicopters by back2back(f): 5:28pm On Dec 09, 2009
Kudo, well done but questions:

How are these going to be maintained?

what checks are in-place that the parts of these heli & Bike do not end up in Alaba?

Hope the helis have 'night vision' since there is no LIGHT in Lagos at night.

Plus, the ground forces would have to be rapid enough otherwise heli would be useless for crime fight.

But for air ambulance, this would be saving lives on that notorious Lagos-Ibadan highway.

is this not same ENUGU where dead body is every where?

http://news.bbc.co.uk/2/hi/africa/8403336.stm

On Tuesday, a hospital in Enugu told the BBC it was overwhelmed by bodies being brought to them by police.

The BBC visited the hospital's morgue in the south-eastern city and took photographs, showing piles young men, lying on top of one another and strewn about on tables and floors.

It was established that at least seven people were last seen alive in police custody, accused of kidnapping.

I think 'beaf' is playing with words.

We, Nigerians seem helpless as our 'Tin God' now enjoy watching football instead of playing his squash.
