Paul I know;
Jesus I know.

Who's this NL deceiver, please??
Paul you know, Jesus you don't know, that's why you'd make the saying of Jesus concerning salvation to be of none effect with that saying of Paul. If you truly know Jesus show me where He also made the confession of the mouth a requirement for salvation. I don't mind being an NL deceiver to you if that's what it means to posit the saying of Paul which clearly contradicts that of Jesus, as that of man and not God.

John 3:16
For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that [b]whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.

Pathetic.
I didn't know you were a special breed of unbelievers.
Lol! Even the words of the devil in the Bible were inspired by God's Spirit?

And you think you're not ignorant of the Truth? But feel free to continue in it, as you seem determined to remain so even though it's been hence exposed.

what of those that have surrendered to Christ but still fall occasionally to a particular sin? help with scriptures for such situations.
Even if one was truly saved and no longer a sinner it doesn't necessarily mean that the person will never fall into sin even though it's possible. The major difference now is that sinning would no longer be a lifestyle and the norm but an exception, that's if that happens at all. And this can be drawn from the lives of those who've walked with God at the highest level of faith in times past.

Jesus who never sinned despite being subjected to many temptations gave us a clue into how He was able to achieve that feat when He said,
"Watch and pray, that ye enter not into temptation: the spirit indeed is willing, but the flesh is weak." Matthew 26:41

So one of the ways He was able to overcome temptations was by praying, for prayer gives the spirit which is willing more power and control over the flesh which is weak.

Another thing He did to overcome temptations was to fast, as He also said while observing a fast, "Man shall not live by bread alone, but by every word that proceedeth out of the mouth of God." Matthew 4:4

So any who does likewise would be able to achieve same results.

Have a blessed day.

She actually repented by her actions as true repentance means a godly sorrow and FEELINGS of sorry for our sinful ways. Which was what she exhibited there. So its not just mere words devoid of any feelings of remorse.

Everyone needs to come to that realization and only on that bases can God forgive you of your sins.

Shalom.
I agree.

Let me add these

1. He hated the blind and lame
2. He is always ready to kill people who don't agree with him.
3. He is violent(cut 200 joysticks of the Philistines)
4. He is a murderer(Uriah comes to mind)
5. He's a wife snatcher(still on Uriah's matter.
6. He's a paedophile and abnormal sex lover(Abishag the Shunamite)
7. He is a lover of revenge(Shimei comes to mind).
8. Most especially, most of the stories written about him are false and adulterated.

This was exactly what God meant when He said, "by this deed thou hast given great occasion to the enemies of the LORD to blaspheme..." 2 Samuel 12:14.

The enemies of God have continued to blaspheme up til this very day because of that, nonetheless God wouldn't mind bearing it for His servant David regardless, because David was there for Him when He sought for a man after His heart.

I think a few lessons could be drawn from that.

Since I'm not as sure as you, why don't you just leave God's word the way it is? Why try to abrogate a clear scripture with one surrounded by haziness?
You mean leave man's word as it is? Obviously you had no answer to my question to prove it's man's word not God. That you're not sure doesn't include me, for what you're claim to be surrounded by haziness is clear to me, but what you claimed to be a clear scripture is clearly not of God in my opinion, because God wouldn't say He "so loved the whole world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whosoever believes in Him shall not perish but have eternal life," and later say "if they confess with their mouth they shall be saved", because believing in Him only requires the heart.

Man adding "confessing with the mouth" to what God said, has only succeeded in depriving some men (the world) that God so loved and gave His only His begotten Son to save, of the gift of salvation that God gave, and that's what you do whenever you posit that saying of men as the Word of God.

If you can't prove how the dumb or the mouthless can confess with their mouth unto salvation, then you've hence proven you have no case.

The Bible account of Genesis says Jacob wrestled with the angel.

Little do we know that he was crying and praying along.

Hosea 12:4 (KJV) Yea, he had power over the angel, and prevailed: he wept, and made supplication unto him: he found him in Beth-el, and there he spake with us;

The woman in question may have been supplicating even before that encounter and the depth of her penitence could have left her heavy-hearted and speechless thereafter.

Remember that Hannah prayed to the point she became speechless.
You can't just conclude that the woman you're referring to wasn't praying while she made the other gestures.

I wonder why you people are not afraid to take away from the scriptures.
If we fear God, we won't easily opine inferred thoughts as His holy will.
I wonder why you people would not be afraid to posit the thought of man as that of God. If you really feared God you wouldn't dare do such a thing. Otherwise you'd tell me how the dumb and those without mouths pray with their mouths to God? Or are you saying that they can't pray to God and can't be saved?

As for the woman, you're not even sure if she prayed with her mouth but regardless Jesus said she was saved. From the reasons Jesus gave which led to her salvation, none had to do with what she said with her mouth.

God doesn't follow the rules of men, it's men that ought to follow His.

11 Characteristics Of A Man After God's Heart

These characteristics were drawn from the life of David, the son of Jesse, who was said to be a man after God's heart.

1. He was not a men-pleaser.

For anyone who truly desires to be a man after God's heart this is a very essential characteristics, because it's impossible to a men-pleaser and someone who craves the praises of men to also be a man after God's heart. This was one of the characteristics which stood David out from most men, as David showed on several different occasions, even from his youth that he was not interested in what men thought said about him or his actions but God.

One of such occasions was when he decided to take on Goliath, as his eldest brother Eliab's disapproval of him and actions did nothing to deter him from that which he had determined in his heart to achieve for God. Neither did Saul's discouraging words nor Goliath's mockery of his weapons amongst other such things. I Samuel 17:28-47.

2. He was selfless and humble leader who
cared about the sheep. He was willing to lay down his life for them.

"Sheep" in this instance implies the people he led, however before David became a leader of the people, he was also a leader of sheep in the literal sense even as a youth, as two of his achievements which he listed to king Saul to prove he was qualified to take on Goliath despite being just a youth and not a man of war, was how he saved a lamb from the mouths of both a lion and a bear, as he said:

"Thy servant kept his father's sheep, and there came a lion, and a bear, and took a lamb out of the flock:
And I went out after him, and smote him, and delivered it out of his mouth: and when he arose against me, I caught him by his beard, and smote him, and slew him.
Thy servant slew both the lion and the bear: and this uncircumcised Philistine shall be as one of them, seeing he hath defied the armies of the living God."
1 Samuel 17:34-36

Therefore he showed on those occasions that he really cared about his earthly father's sheep as he risked his life to save theirs. Perhaps that was what prepared him and gave him the experience he required for the real deal, which was to lead his heavenly Father's sheep, Israel.

3. He earnestly desired to do whatever pleases God and keep His Commandments.

4. He didn't allow fame, glory, power, and riches, to derail him and take the place of God in his life.

5. He took full responsibility for his sins and mistakes. Didn't lay the blame on someone else.

6. He was patient. He waited on God and kept the faith even when it seemed that God had forsaken him.

7. He had mercy on his sworn enemy who was hell-bent on taking his life.

8. He was a defender of the poor, helpless, oppressed, and stood-up for their rights.

9. He always relied on the Lord for direction. He enquired of the Lord.

10. He was very passionate and proud of his God. He defended God's interest to the very last even if it meant putting his life on the line.

I'd expound on each of these characteristics of the man after God's heart called David in subsequent posts.

God bless Nigeria.

God has no house of prayer.

Everywhere belongs to God for praying.

When Jesus fasted and prayed for 40days, He wasn’t stationed in the synagogue.

Jesus went with Peter, James and John to a secluded place to pray, not in a room.

Stop being spiritually confined by some men calling themselves “Men of God”

Lolz! From God's "House of prayer" men have turned it into "houses of prayer". But no matter what men do, the fact remains that there's only been one "House of prayer" for God, and it's the temple at Jerusalem. No other House has God ever dwelt in, and even that one God left it once Jesus had made it possible for Him to dwell in man's heart. But let them keep deceiving themselves that God still dwells in any house like that...they do it on their own.

Do Not Be Weary In Doing And Being A Good Example. You Never Know The Impact It Could Have

I just got off the phone with a missionary friend of mine, and the kind of words he was using to show his appreciation to me for the impact I had in his life really humbled me. It almost drove me to tears.

He said, "i'd be eternally grateful to God for your life....i didn't need to read the Bible...to be inspired to do what i'm doing and to be what i am today...It's because of people like you that inspired me...it's because of your example that made me to be so generous today that i don't give to be compensated or recognized... although it's been over ten years now, you can see how fresh what you did is still on my mind..."

I didn't know what to say but I was just humbled at how just loving God and trying to do the things that please Him could impact someone else's life. It's crazy, really crazy. I was just telling Him "it's God oh, it's God oh" because in Truth it's God... it's a testament of the extent to which God could make someone to have a positive impact in someone else's life without even trying to do so but just doing what God instructs. And this was not the first time someone had said such a thing to me, it's happened on several occasions where my life and example has motivated people to love God more, become more selfless, more generous, more humble etc. No wonder God keeps telling me that i'm a blessing.

It really works! It'd not just by preaching with the mouth but with one's examples and actions. Hence Jesus said, "Let your light so shine before men, that they may see your good works, and glorify your Father which is in heaven." Matthew 5:16

Therefore do not be weary in doing good, being a good example, and doing what God instructed us to do, because you never know the extent to which it may go to impact lives.

This my friend, a graduate of ABU Zaria, is someone who goes to places the gospel has never been before, bringing the gospel to the unreached. He's shared with me some of the testimonies of some persons who got saved and whom God used him to heal. He also narrates to me some of the difficulties he faces, like one village he went where there was no water, so he had to dig the ground for water to gather so he could have water to use. And I've seen some pictures of him having to walk through water which almost covers his full legs on some his missionary journeys.

It's really amazing the great things God could use our lives and examples to inspire...

God bless Nigeria.

Probability Is A Function Of Ignorance: About The Chances Of One Out Of Over Four Thousand Religions Being the True one

Ever heard the atheists say something like, "there are over 4 thousand religions on Earth, so the probability of yours being the right one is at most 1:4000"?

If you have, then the idea is to make you feel that the chances of yours being the right one and your God being the true God was close to nil. But unknown to them, by that statement alone they're ignorantly admitting that there's a true religion and a true God.

So for those who belong to the true religion and true God, the chances of their religion and God being the right one was not under probability, since they know the truth, and probability is only a function of ignorance of the truth. Hence since they know the truth, the chances of their religion and God being the truth, was not 1:4000 but 1:1 since it's not under probability but a certainty.

It's only ignorance of the truth that would make someone say, "there are probably five persons inside that room". Someone who knows the truth would say, "there are five persons in that room!"

It's only ignorance of the truth that would make someone have to search the whole rooms of a twenty-room house just for a car key. Why he's still busy ignorantly searching everywhere possible for the key, someone who knows the truth about the key would just go straight to where the key was in the big house and bring out the car key.

Therefore those who are ignorant of the truth shouldn't expect those who know the truth to also be using probabilities as they do, because probability is only a function of ignorance of the truth.

God bless Nigeria.

GodSaklek:

Later on,we started seeing many strange explosions around the world, many people dies, many farm products were destroyed including animals, many human powerful weapons like missiles were destroyed as well, those aliens offered to help and they started evacuating many people around the world to their own world, they can take up to 1 million people at the same time with their heavy spaceship machines,at first, people were happy to leave the earth due to chaos everywhere, but others started losing interest when they realized that those aliens are behind the catastrophes.
Some people that don't want to go started hiding from them, there are chaos everywhere, people are running around looking for food, later on,people now see those aliens as a threats, they started forcing people to enter their spaceship,is either you die or you enter.
Some similarities to what the Bible said would happen at the end time on Earth could be drawn from your dream.

* The terrible things that happened to the Earth in your dream could be likened to that of the great tribulation.

*The aliens which were behind the catastrophe on earth could be likened to the devil and his angels.

*Entering their space ship because of the terrible things happening on Earth to go to Sirius where the aliens were from and being forced to enter otherwise one dies, could be likened to taking the mark of the beast (666) which is mark of the devil himself, and being forced to take the mark (666) otherwise one dies.

*Sirius where the aliens came from could be likened to hell where the devil and his angels are from. And its brightness could be indicative of the heat it generates just as that of the sun.

So it could be just God revealing to you via the dream things that are imminent earth just as revealed in the Bible.

P.s. The lady alien in the dream is likely not one of the devil's angels but an angel of God, for her to reveal the truth to you about the other aliens. Meanwhile try and ignore the mockers here for that's how they'd mock the truth until the terrible day suddenly comes upon them as it did in the days of Noah.
