Just watched the Silo finale...

I am half-curious and half-disappointed

It was a good finale but I have some major issues...

1. The reveal about the SILO being as a result of nuclear/radiological warfare is very predictable. Everyone predicted it from episode 1.

Honestly I would have prepared if it resulted from Aliens or even an AI trapping humans...

Using the most predictable mystery possible is not really something I look forward to...


2. Making seasons boring and dragged out just to have a great finale that ends on a cliff hanger is a tired technique that Hollywood needs to drop....

Other than that, a great episode...

Captain America: Brave New World has gone through so many rewrites and re-shoots that I doubt there would be any cohesion in the plot of the movie

To make them clean because they believe those inside the Silo cannot see that pleasant view simply because of dirt/dust.

They do not realize that it is their own view in the suit that is fake.

Juliet realizes this so she doesn't clean

If you watch a show because you are a "critique" then that's your own, allow those that enjoy it to watch it.

Not everyone is into anime, that doesn't make it trash,

SILO season 2 has terrible pacing...

Juliette's storyline with Solo in Silo 17 is just a drag and a waste of time and could have been rounded up in 2 episodes at most...

8 episodes in and fûck all has happened this season...

They wasted Juliette's character in Silo 17....
How many times are we gonna watch her swim and almost drown but never actually drown?
Or how many times will she find a suit or fix pumps etc...now she has lost everything she wasted the entire season doing lol...

Juliette's circumstances in season 2 episode 1 and in episode 8 has barely changed...
Everything she found she lost...
She didn't learn anything tangible too...
So what was the point of the last 8 episodes?

The other characters they focus on in Silo 18 are all bland and boring except Bernard...

So many characters acting like idîots...the latest episode pissed me off with the stûpid betrayal by Walker because of love

Before I predicted the season would end with Juliette returning to stop the riot...now I am not even sure the riot will happen this season at all...

Blacklist is one of the highly rated shows ever

The Blacklist is trash...
It's only selling points are the character of Raymond Reddington and the useless mystery regarding Elizabeth's relationship with Raymond....

These two things were what kept people watching the show...until it became apparent the writers had no idea what they were doing...

The silly mystery sef ended in a useless reveal...

As far as I am concerned, anyone who thinks The Blacklist is a well written show has low media literacy...

Even the fans of the show admit it's terribly written but they stayed for Raymond...

there is nothing to talk about the other characters and the Season 2 too, just imagine nobody even care or talk about the games them play just the trans because of what he/she did in the last episode

Yes he's a key character of course based on his Career and alot of people knew him from Queen of tears and The Glory and he bring a trans is more popular than the season 2

Anyway, the highlight of the season was the ideological battle between the Frontman and Gi Hun.

Imo Gi Hun proved both the Recruiter and the front man were right.
Gi Hun choosing to gamble on the 1/2 chance I'm the Russian roulette instead of killing the Recruiter proved he was just like those beggars at the park that the Recruiter saw as the scum...

Same way by sacrificing a few for the greater good, Gi Hun proved the Frontman right in his justification for the squid games and the fact that Gi Hun was no hero at all

Squid Game season 2 was going so well until the last episodes.

You know that thing they do in horror movies where characters are being stupid to push the plot forward.

They ruined Squid Game season 2 with the last two episodes. The main character who was being smart and cautious most of the time suddenly became a complete idiot.

I don't know what the writers were thinking when they wrote that horrendous last episodes.

Episode 7 will leave you scratching your head.

Nothing about his plan makes sense at all.

Squid Game season 2 is an unnecessary sequel. But it was well written and I was enjoying it until they messed it up at the end.

What a shame.

I thought it was good but was never going to reach the heights of season 1.

This season was more of a ideological confrontation between Front man and Gi Hun...

You can see how Front man kept taunting and playing Gi Hun...
You can see his smile when Gi Hun chose to sacrifice his own people for the greater good....
The same Gi Hun who was all about saving everybody...

Also, now that most of the Xs are dead...the games will go on without any interruption

I think the weak points of season 2 were the fact that there were less games and the side characters were not as interesting as season 1

People blaming Hansi Flick do not watch football...

His only fault in this form is continuing to start Lewandowski.
The only game we benched Lewa in La Liga is the game we won 5-1

We've only had about 2-3 poor games this season...
Look at most of our recent losses...the issue isn't the tactics...

If the tactics creates many chances, then the tactics is working...
The issue is the drop in form of some players and poor finishing...

Compare how clinical we were in the Bayern game compared to now...


Right now we take about 5-6 clear chances to score a goal...and this is bad...
It doesn't matter how much we dominate matches and create chances if we keep missing them...

Look at stats in these recent losses too...

If we were even half as clinical as we were in October, we wouldn't be where we were now...

The major difference between the our performances then and now is how clinical we were...


Aside that, the poor form of Lewandowski and Olmo and even Rafinha who is still creating chances but somehow missing sitters...

Yamal could at least score sometimes back then but now he can't score anymore...
He is still creating but missing every sitter too

What is the point of creating many chances if you keep missing them?

It seems like we need 6 or 7 clear chances to score a goal nowadays...

lol the grim dark Superman narrative is such a shallow argument i have always come across to bash ZS "Superman"....All he humanity, saving people and all was all there in "Man of Steel" (2013), as for darker and bleak overtones of Bvs (2016) and JL (2017), it fits the narrative Zack Snyder was trying to tell, not every time hope and saving people...ZS wanted to present a side of Superman as a conflicted grounded character in a morally bankrupt world, and we probably needed to see that side of Supes, and imo it's totally justified in ZS creative vision for the character.

I had my issues with Bvs (2016), but Man of Steel (2013), Bvs (2016), JL (2017) and ZSJL (2021) weren't bad films by any stretch of the imagination.... misunderstood maybe.

I never said it was bad. I simply presented how different it was to this...

Man of Steel is one of my favorite superhero movies

My first impression of the Superman trailer is that it's refreshing...

It seems focused on the more humane side of Superman. Him saving people...him resonating with people, becoming a symbol of hope...
We see more instances of Superman saving than of fighting... because saving people is ultimately what makes Superman a hero...

It looks very focused on humanizing him, connecting him with people. The first shot is of him falling, we also see shots of him rising...

We see shots of people throwing things at him, but we also see shots of the kid holding the flag...

This is quite different from the grim dark Superman from the synderverse...

I have finished it. The part 1 was much more interesting than part 2. There wasn't any episode that really stood out to me for the part 2.

But I thoroughly enjoyed majority of the episodes in the part 1

7 episodes done in Part 1.

I am not a fan of short stories but I enjoyed Love, Death and Robots.

For Secret Level, I've found it just okay so far...
Way way below LDR tho...

I don't think I'll be watching part 2 tho because I haven't really enjoyed part 1 so far, it's just decent for me.
And I keep hearing part 2 isn't even as good as Part 1 that I didn't enjoy

I avoided this show before because I thought it was some "girl power girl boss" nonsense...

But the title is quite misleading..

It's a real solid show...
They didn't make the female lead some kind of superhuman girlboss...

The male characters were not useless at all...in fact they were more experienced on the field...

Veterans actually had their moments to show why they were Veterans...

She really understood this one herself much later...

There was a car at his back and another hit him from the side

We don't know how The Jackal survived the car crash...

What if he had help?
What if Bianca isn't dead...maybe she helped him?

But I 100% think she's dead tho...and I hope she is.

It might have been his former spotter who saved him instead...or he just didn't need saving
